The rest of the story...
I must admit, I really don't enjoy dealing with issues in this type of forum but since some of you have decided to do so I am forced to correct some facts.
1. Danny, As I said on Sunday (8/24) I would paypal you your refund on Monday when I got home from work. I got home late that evening but I did indeed send you your refund. I got home today(8/26) to a phone message from you asking me to please send your money and upon checking my e-mail find that you have made this post. Have there been delays? Yes, but you failed to mention exactly what they were. When you sent me the payment you sent me a personal check which I normally don't accept but I guess I didn't make that clear before you sent it. No big deal. The problem occured when your check for the animals bounced. You would have had the animals long ago if not for this problem. This is not something you are unaware of, just failed to mentionin your post. You actually caused me to bounce 3 checks as well, not your responsibility but certainly your fault. After speaking to you about this and being quite flexible in my opinion, you then paypaled me the money and the deal was back on. As I recall, we could not come up with a suitable shipping date before you left for vacation and that we would discuss it when you returned. As you know, I was away for most of the next week on my own vacation after you returned as we spoke twice while I was away. Upon my return I said I would send you the money right away but after checking I was unable to do so, hence my e-mail to you stating I would do it last night , as I did. I tried to make myself as availabe as possible (you have my cell # as well) and just wish you would have just called me directly to voice your displeasure. In short, the problems in this deal were certainly not as one-sided as you have made them out to be.
2. Chris Kennard. Sorry to hear about the loss of your Jani. It has been quite some time since you got it but I wanted to express a few things to you. The reason I sold the snake was exactly as I told you. I actually raised her from a baby and she had been in my collectio for quite some time.I don't feel that telling you she double clutched the year before makes me dishonest, it's just an explanation of what had happened. I'm sure I told you she had bred before when you purchased her. I remember you calling and telling me she was having problems. I'm also sure I asked you quite a few questions regarding her condition as she was indeed healthy when I sold her. Perhaps she had been fed an unusually large meal..etc.... As to you question of why I would I would be willing to take the snake back and treat it is quite simple. I was offering to help, not admitting some sort of guilt. As you live somewhat in my vacinity and as most herpers know, a good reptile vet is hard to find, I thought a could simply save you the money and help as well. I wish you would have taken me up on it.Even after all this time I would be willing to work with you on resolving this issue if you are still interested. 3. Gilbert Thompson. I think are the only person I have ever run across in 15 years in the business that I would absolutely refuse to do business with. If I had a dollar for every time you promised you were going to send animals or that money was on the way I could retire by now. I also don't appreciate hang up calls at 3:00 in the morning either as you have done on my cell and to my wife as well. I still have all your e-mails if you need me to refresh your memory as to all your promises to send money. I know at least 5 other people that have gotten the same lines from you, in fact they were nice enough to send me your e-mails to them. They were almost word for word with mine, lots of promises of money and then you never come through. You want me to post them too? Perhaps you should take a long look in the mirror before YOU criticize others. Oh did I miss something?? Federal offense??Anyway, never attempt to contact me again as your attempts will certainly go unanswered! I would advise others to do the same.
