While we sometimes expect less than honorable motives with some of the disagreements here, I think it a mistake to paint with such a broad brush. If you meant to target a specific entity or two, might I suggest so naming them. I do not think it a worthy pursuit, but still at least an improvement if you are so motivated.

I am interested in seeing replies from the particulars as to the two issues on the table. If answered clearly in earlier posts, I missed them.

1) Did Rick ever use the name "Chacoan giants" or just "Giants" in reference to his animals; and

2) Did Bobby deride the use of the name Chacoan by others in saying that only he, Bobby, has or had "true Chacoans".

I can see either side taking some offense if the answer to either of the above is in the affirmative. The tragedy here is that if that is the case, it exploded into such a ruin, aptly illustrated by Laura.

I do not agree with what Bobby has explained perfectly clearly. It is not childish or pathetic to disagree with someone and civily discuss the issue.

I think people want a grasp on the situation. I don’t think that most are questioning Bobby’s integrity.

I do believe Rick stated on this thread that his are nothing like Bobby’s. Isn’t that a salient point?

My understanding is that they both dropped the name "Chacoan". Isn’t that another prominent point?

Considering the fact they both agree that their animals are different from one another, In the event Rick tells a customer or others that they are exactly the same, In my opinion, that would change many of the contradictions in this thread to downright dishonest tactics from a competitor.

Which is why I believe Jim Flaherty should have his post clearly addressed by both parties.

No, hell there can be, and are Argentines there. But these are one of the Chacoans, are there Colombian tegus in that range, yes there are. I never called my tegus Chacoan "White Heads", I called and will continue to call them Chacoan "Giants". And I will not sell normal Argentines with higher white Chacoan "White Heads" when they are normal Argentines with a little higher white.

Just to clarify Bobby, did Rick say his tegu's were the same as your "giants" (Chacoan or otherwise), or did he just say somewhere something that was less specific, possibly referring to something more generic. I don't see Rick's response here exactly confirming anything specific.

Please correct me if I'm misreading it, but I believe post number 27 by Rick Sisco is a series of emails between him and the buyer, Katie, wherein she is inquiring about purchasing a Chacoan tegu, and Rick is receiving money for said Chacoan.

We produce healthy, beautiful Ball Pythons in a variety of color and pattern morphs. We have many beautiful Normals, Pastels, Super Pastel, Mojaves, Yellowbellies (aka het Ivory), Orange Ghosts, Cinnamon Pastel, Spiders, High Contrast Albinos & Piebald Ball Pythons.

He claims to produce all of those morphs, and has never produced all of those morphs. Is that a lie, to claim to produce animals you have never bred?

He claims to be a breeder of Blue tegus, and has never produced even one. The only reason he has Black n whites hatchlings is because he buys them from Bert. If Bert bred Blues , Rick would have produced blues long ago, and claim they were his own stock.

Also in post# 234, Ron and Bert both say that there are white heads, and there are Chacoans, two different animals. The same is true about this months Reptiles Mag, Bert calls mine Chacoan.

Rick sold his as normals, and then changed the name to leach off me. He is the only so called breeder to call them Chacoan White Heads for many years, that all ended long ago when Ron was shot down, Ron claimed they were a morph created by him. That ended when people seen that they can be found all over the same ranges as the darker ones.

Rick used that name to jack up his price of his animals to compete with me. He did not change the name until he found out I had these animals. As for the name change, I changed it because of Rick, he cannot call his the same if I call mine Extreme Giants.

Bert clearly stated in post 234 that white heads are not Chacoan.

I never stated he is not claiming that they are the same. I pointed out that he made statements in this thread that they are different. That if he is also stating the opposite to customers, that is a tactic lacking ethics.

I agreed that if one of your chief complaints was accurate that you had a right to be upset.

Ok, I will try this again, I asked rick to post pictures of babies just like mine AKA Giants, "creamy silver babies". He said he would if he was not sold out.

However, Ricks white heads, and my white heads are the same, and the babies are not "creamy silver". Only the Giants show these colors.

There have been several that have taken quotes from the Bert Langerwerf article so I guess I do one. It goes to Bobby's cryptic explanation why he thinks Rick is stating his are just like Bobby's.

"Therefore, it is impossible to tell Chacoans apart from Argentine black and white tegus when looking at babies. Perhaps someone will find a difference in scale pattern - if there is any".

So if Rick's looked exactly like yours then how would that prove he is calling them Chacoan Giants.

The Giants start out with a green head and do look a lot like normal white head, or normal black n whites. However, they do not turn black and white as they get older, they get creamy silver. The older they get the more they change and look more and more less like the normals.

And they grow up to be silver creamy Giants like this, not normals white heads like Rick's:
