    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Bad Guy Robert Ringhoff of PA,

I just filed a police report. Another avenue to pursue. I called ringhoff's local police dept and they told me to file with my pd first. So that is now started. Looks like the address under Denise's name is her work address. Nice.
 
jason i hope you get some satisfaction out of this mess. it took a while to get there, but in my mind you have pretty much proven without a doubt that this guy is nothing more than a low life thief. i applaud your tenacious attitude towards this situation and i hope he gets what he deserves. just don't give up on following through on this. this should be a lesson to scammers that people aren't just going to lay down. i admit i had my concerns at first based on the limited amount of visual proof we had, but im confident now that you did indeed get completely scammed on this deal. i doubt we will see anymore responses from this jerk, but i would love to hear how this finally ends up. keep us posted please.
 
Shawn, I appreciate all the support that I am getting. Sometimes better late than never. I did file a police report tonight since they want to play the phone game. Going through court should make them provide their phone log to show the amount of times that he has called me from his phone. Since ringhoff has pushed me so far, I have no choice but to continue. The slander/defamation, harassment, and the basic scam is more than I think he even counted on. Maybe ringhoff thought this was one of my few first purchases; that I wouldn't know what is male/female, what a ghost looks like; and that I would not pursue this scam at all. If you ask my friends, family, and anyone else that knows me, they will all tell you that I am not a quiet person. They will also say that I will not usually sit by the side without saying or making some kind of action.

ringhoff thinks that I am just some kid- 16, 17, 18, I don't know. I am actually a 27 y/o that is a licensed A&P Mechanic. I worked on Citation aircraft for 5 years until I was laid off. I know from working on aircraft that documentation is a must! ringhoff has provided so much more proof in this boi than I could ever dream. ringhoff helped me build the case against him and this should practically be an open and shut case. I have tried to keep my cool regardless of what people have said and I hope that there is NOT any major ill feelings between myself and anyone else on here except ringhoff obviously. There maybe a person or two that I won't be doing business with ever because of their attitude/opinion, but I think that may be a mutual feeling. I will post an update in the afternoon of anything happens. There has already been one email sent to me by an individual asking where to file an internet crime complaint. If anyone needs it, it is www.ic3.gov.
 
Beginning of the End

Well, this has been a roller coaster of a journey to say the least. We, or at least me, shouldn't be bothered by the scammer ringhoff for a while. I have had a judge sign and I filed an order of protection for stalking/harassment against ringhoff. It should be served to him this afternoon. The phone calls from him should stop now, otherwise he will be arrested and put in jail; a place is no stranger to.

I have also picked up a packet for a small claims suit. I can sue him for up to $4000 plus fees and such in my county/district for small claims. I was told that scammer ringhoff should have to appear here in KS for court instead of me having to go to PA. I hope it works out that way. If not, as long as I win the case ringhofff will also have to pay travel expenses. I think this would be a great case for someone like Judge Mathis, but I am not so sure I would really want to take that route. Information that has been provided by ringhoff and his gross criminal record should help my case flow smoothly. Not to mention his lack of explanations, contradictions, and constant mis-calculations of simple numbers.:thumbsup:
 
I just had time to read this from page 1 to page 23. I have known Jason since he started in the hobby. Jason has been to my house, and I consider him a good friend. One thing I can say about Jason he is one of the most honest people I have ever met. I have done many deals with him. I have given him animals on credit many times. He has always (100% of the time) pay his bill on time.
Now for a lot of the new people here. Did you learn from this? I see this, and here about it all of the time. " IF IT TO GOOD TO BE TRUE? IT PROBABLY IS!!!" I myself would have driven to pick up these animals. If you are saving so much money. It would be well worth it. I hope no one has to spend as much time on a snake deal as Jason has here. The sad part is you know he will never see the other animals, or his money back.
Jason I wish you luck my friend, but you cannot get blood from turnips!
 
lessons learned

1. if something sounds to good to be true it probably is.
2.TP is an aggitater(sp)and comes off as being arrogant.
3."proof" is in the eyes of the beholder.
4.anyone is capable of scamming/being scammed.
5.trust you gut, if you have any doubts, dont do the deal.
 
Looks like this event is continuing down the road. I have just returned home from appearing in court for the restraining order against ringhoff. The session was to be done via phone conference and ringhoff (or whoever) did not answer the phone. The number the court had was called four times. I was granted the order by default since there was no answer on the other end. The assistant to the judge had informed the defendant that the call would take place today between 10:00am-1:00pm their time. It is now ordered that ringhoff can NOT contact me directly or indirectly, nor can he direct anyone to do so for him.

My next step is to file the paperwork for my claim against ringhoff. I am still working on figuring out what to go after him for total. I am not as concerned about his slander of calling me a dog abuser or a scammer; as much as I am concerned about the loss of the snakes and the eggs that he swiped from from me. I am glad that he posted that he took those three clutches by his own admission. I am also glad that he posted at least some of the pics of the animals that he supposedly sent to me and their gender. The pics that I took of the snakes that he also provided pics of do show that he sent me snakes of the wrong gender.
 
I was looking at the printable version of this thread to further prepare everything on my end. The printable version is nearly 90 pages. That doesn't include the actual pics being printed with the text. Looks like I may need to scale it down and print two pages per page to cut down on paper and ink.

I also need to difinitively figure out if I need to file suit in Sedgwick County KS or Monroe County PA. Even the judge today was somewhat questioning the restraining order being filed here. I have been told that interstate items can be tricky.
 
Looks like we have most of the snakes from the ringhoff scam out of here. Looks like we have about half of our money back. The last snake left is this messed up cinny male and we are going to just give him away. Can't sell him with his bad eyes and whatever else could be wrong with him. He still eats fine, but takes him a minute to find the food if you don't hold it directly in front of him.

I need to get refocused on closing out everything on the ringhoff scam. I think I am coming to a conclusion on how much I am going to take him to court. He still probably thinks he is getting away with everything free and clear.
 
After being tired of getting the run around from no answer or no call backs from attorneys and not even getting straight answers from the courts on their own paper work, I have finally filed in small claims against scammer ringhoff. I wish I could have at least consulted an attorney to know for sure how much I can go after the scammer for, but at least something is now in the works. My court date is set for six weeks and I highly doubt he will show.

I am still amazed at all of the hassle that I have gone through with the scammer, paypal, police, courts, and even on here at times. I have dumped the snakes from him months ago just so I don't have anymore money tied into them. It seems that many of the things that I do anymore are more about principle and not so much value, monetary or not. Did he really think that he can just scam me and get away with it that easily??? He seemed ok when we did our first transaction when he purchased a really nice male spider ball from me, but didn't even have the balls to tell me that he was going to send it back to me on the scam that he pulled. That was fine on that snake since it was way better than the one he had in the picture.

ringhoff must be selling snakes undercover because I haven't seen any ads of him selling snakes online. I may have missed them if there were some, but if his name is googled this thread definitely pops up. I will post an update after the trial, maybe before if there is something for me to add.

Jason; I wholeheartedly and publicly apologize for my insensitiveness on this thread.. You deserved none of this!!!! I hope you slam this guy in civil court sir!! I will continue to lookout for this clown as well!! You are going above and beyond to stop an idiot; and I hope for the best!! Wait. Paypal told you that they will help you defraud people? Did those EXACT same words come out of their mouth? Did they put it in an e-mail?

Can you prove that paypal tried to defraud you?
Because in another thread you are complaining about "slander" being commited against you, but in this thread it seems you are partaking in the libel of a company.
 
Luna, get a life and read the thread in its entirety before running your loose mouth. If you read the thread, then you would have known that paypal told me to report him and to take him to court. You would also see the emails that have been provided from all parties involved and that I have not provided or said anything that is untrue. The only "partaking in the libel" of anything is what you are doing. Your post on this thread has no meaning and only asks redundant questions that have already been answered.
 
This has been a different month compared to some. A couple weeks ago I received a UPS Express envelope. Inside was one piece of paper with the letterhead of Judge Judy. They were told that I had a small claims case against the ringhoffs. I called to find out info about this and they also contacted ringhoff to see if he was interested in going to Hollywood for Judge Judy. ringhoff wanted to do it!?! The only thing I could figure why he would want to is that the arbitrator of the show would pay the judgement to me and he wouldn't have to unload the change from his own pockets.

We were supposedly going to fly out Aug 29 and come back Sept 1. Obviously they (the show) or ringhoff changed their mind because I am obviously not in L.A. right now. That's fine with me.

Then on Sunday Aug 28, a person named "Mike Owens" starts two threads about me being a dog abuser. A friend calls me informing me of the thread "Jason A. Williams, aka supermorph now in Wichita, kansas". "Owens" posts an article about a person with the same name as me and says that it is me. A small amount of research would show that it definitely is not me. Very quickly it is learned that the "Owens" person supposedly out of KY is actually ringhoff from PA. The moderators say they have put together enough evidence that it is ringhoff that made a fake account back when he started hiding from this thread of his scam in March. The mods have shut down ringhoff's fake account, but have not completely banned him from this site.

Of course, some people have jumped to conclusions right away that the article was about me. The same article that ringhoff posted on this thread trying to put me down more. Most of the people that jumped too soon have apologized. I understand that it is easy to jump to conclusions, specially when it involves someone that committs a terrible crime, but a minute of research would have shown the person being targeted as the abuser on the thread really wasn't the same person as in the article.

More times than not, it seems that the general consensus of people anymore is to believe the worst of something and a person is guilty until proven innocent. I know from experience that the law is not enforced so much to protect the innocent and the victoms, but to let criminals do their thing until it is considered a serious "person" crime. Career criminals like ringhoff shouldn't be allowed to continually committ more crimes and live as a free person. I still remember ringhoff trying to make fun of me for not having a job when he can't even get a real job himself, probably because of his long list of crimes. I know for sure that I can at least pass a background check of any kind. I have a license from the government to work on aircraft for godsake.

I really hope the stuff with ringhoff ends when I finally get to court. When will a criminal like ringhoff stop???
 
I don't think a scammer ever stops scamming.....unless they're locked up and CAN'T do it any more. :(
