Alright...this is my first post as an official reptile-keeper

. I've been in love with them for years, have handled Toby's frequently but these are MY first pets. I fell in love with the species (Charina bottae) two years ago and they are finally here!
It was a pleasure to deal with Amy Zerkle. Our 1.1 boas arrived happy and healthy and were delivered on short notice from us without delay.
So--without further delay--the babies!:
The male is on the left, the female on the right. We were surprised by how big he was compared to her but not unhappy.
This is the girl. Isn't she precious? No matter where we put her, if she got near my thumb, that's where she wanted to be.
This is the 10 gal tank they're in now and we have a 30 gal coming in the next few weeks. Prior to putting them in the tank, we fed them. The male ate 4 pinkies and then immediately went exploring around his tank. The female managed a half a pinkie and then burrowed straight under the substrate and we only got brief views of her for the rest of the evening.
We'll try feeding her again in a few days.
This little guy just didn't sit still...even after being a total pig.
Hello!
He has since curled up into the piece of wood in the back left corner and taken up residence.
We're very happy to have them and I hope you enjoy the pictures
