    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Well unfortunally I'm down to 1! I lost another egg! It was a very tangled up premi! But the last egg is still going strong showing no signs of problems! I just hope its a clone of the mama! But a baby fire would be good to! If its a normal its going to my little miricle baby :)
 
OH God, i feel like puking. I cant stop thinking about it.....

The last egg pipped and i think it died! It wont move at all and is now starting to smell like rotten ham! A smell i associate with dead baby snakes. It went back into the egg, I tried to poke it a bit to see if it would move and nothing.

I was so close!

Ill send pics soon its a FIRE, but i cant tell if the mom influenced the pattern as of yet.

I guess even though all the eggs died, one baby lived long enough for me to get an idea of what im working with here. Unless its just a FIRE.

EVERYTIME I THINK ABOUT THIS I GET WOOZIE
 
looks like it has the moms pattern in person it was a fire looking snake. i have seen fires with a pattern like this so who knows. till next season............

I'm confused. You said the last snake pipped. Is that picture above the one that pipped? It looks premature and too early of a cut may be the problem.

I'm not trying to pick at you, but if you are cutting these eggs on time and they are looking like that, then your incubator may not be holding the temps you thought.
 
The egg was in really bad shape, leaking from all over and covered in mold. I never actually witnessed the snakes head sticking out of the egg. There was a slit in the egg, leading me to believe it may have pipped and popped back into the egg. It may have been the condition of the egg causing it to split! Idnk. Upon further investigation, the snake was still in its fluid sack and unfortunally I did cut it open a bit to help it out. I do believe my incubator has been acting a bit funky. Holding 90 deg on one side and 87 on the other. I don't have a fan in the incubator to evenly spread the heat. That may be the issue here. SO THIS IS MY FAULT. And now I feel even worse.
