Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them.     Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Inquiry S&S exotics your experiances?

I have not been there recently. The last time I was in the store the store stank and the cages were dirty. They are a high volumn animal broker with a store front. I wouldnt buy anything from them without inspecting it first and then I prob still wouldnt take the chance on it. They have a pretty bad reputation locally from what I hear from people in the hobby.
 
I had to email them to tell them that the SA burrowing toad that they were selling on
ks was not from SA or even a toad for that matter. it was nyctixalus pictus,
a malaysian tree frog. good god.
 
The store absolutely reeks. My fiancee will not go in anymore, saying it always makes her feel like she needs to take a bath afterwords. My friend just bought a white lipped python there 3 days ago, and upon getting it home and warmed up, noticed it was bubbling at the mouth. Since they were closed Monday, he called an left a message, then they told him to bring it in Tuesday. Upon taking it to the store, he was told to "keep the heat up" and that was it. No apology, no refund, offer to help with vet costs. The sales staff will say anything for a sale. Just Say No!
 
they offer live guarantees on shipping but thats only on airport to airport not dhl fed express or anything else. reading there guarantee the only guarantee is once you get it you got it bottom line. doesnt matter to them anyone who reads there guarantee will probably not do business with them

Yeah thats no guarantee. They could send a dead snake or lizard and as long as it arrives theyve lived up to their GUARANTEE. :rolleyes:
 
S&S BAD

I looked at their site as well and since they do not guarantee anything - I would never buy from them and ship. First, they cannot sex reptiles. They had a snake for sale that I sold to another dealer in Wisconsin and he sold it to them. It was actually a huge male I had for several years. They were selling it as a confirmed proven breeder female. I bought a pair of flying squirrells from them at a show when I was in Texas and two days later they were dead. No refund or replacement. Their shop is a nasty cess pool of Shiite. These are the type of people that have no business handling animals of any kind. Low life no good money hungry white trash. Do not buy anything from these people no matter how cute it looks. It will die because they are not capable of properly caring for any living thing. :shootfoot
 
Im surprised they are still in business. I will definitely recommend anywhere else to get any kind of animal from, including the back yard for a chipmunk.
 
Wow! I am so glad I saw this thread! I saw some ads that peaked my interest but after reading this and taking a look at the guarantee for myself I will keep looking. Thanx guys!
 
I will never look at any animals from them at a show, and I will never bother going to their store again. Bought one snake, had hundreds of mites. Also had bought two chipmunks, both had fungal infections and one almost died within a couple weeks after getting them. Never again, I will not buy from them. And if you buy because no one else has one, or you feel sorry for the animal, just don't. It's really not worth heartache

Place them in quarantine, do not let those snakes near your collection until you know they are ok.

Quarantine for a minimum of 90 days, as far away from your collection as possible.
 
Not sticking up for Ug at all by saying this. Quarantine any snake you get from anyone for a min. of 90 days! Not just these guys who are always selling sick reptiles,but everyone.

You're going to want to check over the snakes thoroughly. The links I just posted, most have to do with external parasites.
