In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Bad Guy SCAMMER Brian Timony "Mr. Parsons"

You could be right Neon. When the chameoleon is ready I'll ask to see the sire upon pick up and request a refund if it turns out to be a Nosey Be.

This guys chams could be anything being that he's just flipping them and not breeding them. He asked me to sell him panthers and veileds at crazy low prices that just aren't possible so he could make as much as possible. One problem may be is that he doesn't actually have the chameleons yet. After claiming he was going to buy my veileds he already had an ad on here claiming they were available. It took several texts and unanswered phone calls to get him to remove the ad being that I had an ad on here with the exact same pic.

Has nobody else noticed those are the EXACT SAME chameleons (one is obviously color/pattern edited)???

You may be right. The first pic looks like it may have been taken under a black light? You can see a faint pattern in the second pic. maybe this pattern pops more under black light? I have no experience with Chams...These are just my thoughts.

Lauren did not say anything about the seller apologizing for phone trouble, or computer trouble, or anything of that nature. What she said is that in order to get to communicate with a seller to whom she had given a substantial amount of cash, she had to threaten police action.
Does that sound like the kind of seller one wants to do business with?

I read what she said. If he delivers he's guilty of poor communication but he's not necessarily a bad guy. I'm just trying to help her.

I just wanted to give an update. The seller contacted me today and apologized for the lack or miscommunication. Said it was an honest mistake having forgotten to send me the receipt. And he was tied up over the weekend thus couldn't get back to me sooner then he did. It was my personal fault for misunderstanding him when he said the cham would be ready in a "week or so". I assumed that meant a week or a week and half while he meant it as a week or 2. And I was going off of when he first posted his add for the chameleons as the beginning of that "week or so" time period. He did send me another picture of the sire and it's definitely not the same chameleon as the Nosey Be he also has listed up for sale. It seems that he's really trying to make right on this situation so far. And promised I'd get the chameleon I paid for this weekend. He even agreed to let me see the sire upon pick up. When I get the cham I will post the picture here.

Sorry, I meant exact same species. Oops!

That made no sense? All the pics in question are of Furcifer Pardalis or aka panther chameleons. They are all the SAME apecies!

As for both pics being the same chameleon. No way, they arent pics of the same cham. He did alter the color on the purple bar pic but those are two seperate chams in the ads he posted.

To the Op, take several pics of the sire and post them plz when you pick up the cham. You also wont know what that baby is going to look like for at least 6 to 8 months. Hes not going to even start showing any real color til about 4 -5 months of age.

Hey guys! I just want to report that I did finally get my chameleon. Brain was really good about it. Communication was really the main problem that caused my concern and there still was some miscommunication but he did end up answering my e-mails at most two days later. He did send me a better picture of the sire on request and offered me a 10 day health guarantee on the guy I got. And truthfully he is a good looking little dude at only 3 and a half months old. Here are the pictures.

So I would like to officially apologize to Brian. He really did seem to have all the right intentions.

Just out of curiosity after reading this whole thing and all of the "doubt" on the sire's coloring would it be possible to post the "better pic" of the sire? I would like to see the pic he sent you next to the pic from the advertisement. I would love to see a good pic of that male I am toying with the idea of picking up some panthers in the future

Still quite a bit off, judging from the hand and the wood(?) surface in the background....

(I rethought my wording just as I clicked to submit - pretend that I caught it first, and removed the word "quite"...leaving my statement "It is still a bit off". Seems like it could be quite a bit, but I know my monitor is not wholly accurate; and the overall lack of image clarity seems to be compounding my perception of color distortion.)

it's been 10 days now and I've tried e-mailing and calling him with no response.
Communication was really the main problem that caused my concern and there still was some miscommunication but he did end up answering my e-mails at most two days later.

So I would like to officially apologize to Brian.

He took a cash payment. Didn't send the receipt when he said. Did not communicate well after receiving your cash. His performance as a seller could use some improvement even though you did end up with your critter, so I do not see why you would feel like you had to apologize to him. I think your concerns were valid.

Just out of curiosity, were you able to see the sire when picking up your chameleon? I also noticed how the seller never came on here and explained why he's using obviously edited photos in a classifieds ad.

You know I never did get to see the sire in person. To be honest when we met I just wanted to get the whole deal over with because I thought the sell might be mad about me sullying his reputation and hurting future sales for him. So I really just wanted to take my chameleon and go. And I'm not sure why he hasn't spoken up for himself either. He still maintains that the original photo isn't edited. It's just the Chameleon all fired up and the seller just blacked out the background of the photo for better clarity. And I REALLY doubt that the second photo he sent me was edited.
