    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Bad Guy Scott @ CV Exotics gets JAIL TIME!

Wonder why Joshua Rogoff only got misdemeanor theft for a stealing a snake that was valued at $10,000. That should have been a felony!!!

It looks like he plead guilty instead of having a trial. The plea bargain was probably for the misdemeanor instead of the felony.
 
Actually, the guy that stole the snake got less time due the fact that he came clean, cooperated, and had NO IDEA that the snake was worth that kind of money. Scott lied to him, told him it was common and only worth $1,000.00. he told Josh he was interested in SPECIFIC morphs....and Killer Bee was one of them. Jackpot, it just happened to be a Killer Bee Axanthic he snagged.

The Trial used 4 days of the Courts time and a bunch of its resources. He is lucky they did not pursue the 2 Witness Tampering charges they had!

His sister told us MANY times that she is going to "F'n KILL US!!!!!", "Your F'N DEAD" "You're a LYING SCUMBAG A HOLE BLAh blah blah...."

Today we had the cops here due to an altercation with Scott's "Little" sister. She swerved at one of my employees and rolled down her window, gave him the finger and told him she will kill him, destroy him, He's DEAD..... eat his Children, his friends children gnaw on his furniture and eat his Rugs.... Creating quite the scene and basically shocking him...

This is after of course his little gang of Estrogen pursuing us out of court and "tweaking" out.... Yeah, I'm dead, My employees are dead...we're gonna die.....Your DONE, I am a lying scumbag..... freaking out as they leave the court and screaming "this is F'ing blah blah.." so the Court could hear her frustration.....

A Jerry Moment for sure.....

Today, when the cops went to talk to her she said that "we" have been the ones harassing their family and terrorizing them...

The amount of LYING in their genes is just INSANE!!!!

Judge John Lewis said he was sending Seavey to jail because the jury concluded that he knew the snake was stolen when he bought it.

"What is relevant is what you have been convicted of," Lewis said. "I am just pointing out to you that you have a right as an American citizen to say what you want, but what your crime did is create havoc in a business that's fragile -- and you really hurt him at this point."

Wow, The judge sounds very sympathetic to your business Kevin, I could see where others may have found this whole "snake stuff" trite and found for a lesser sentence.
 
I still don't think it justice but better than nothing. Both guys should have got at least a year in jail. I wish I worked for Kevin, I would show that tweaking loser girl something. Dear Santa,... all I want for Christmas is a Louisville slugger and a solid alibi for 24 hours. LOL

I could see how one would be concerned that a judge would find this "snake stuff" trite. This too crossed my mind but then I realized NO judge worth their salt would form a bias opinion due to a predisposition for or against something.
For those who think that the person who stole the snake should have gotten more time need I remind you that the judge is an officer of the court. It is his professional responsibility to execute a punishment he believes is appropriate after inquiry, weighing of evidence, testing of premises, and deliberation. In the absence of hearing every detail of the case yourself I dont know how one can form the opinion that the one who stole it should have gotten more time. You'll just have to believe that the judge did his court appointed duty and punished Seavey due to his extensive knowledge of the law.
I have my own opinions on how much time he should have served but it is just that...opinion.

Amazingly really since the N.E.R.D.S men collectively could form a whole range of organized physical strength that could easily overpower any of the small seavey people that have been threatening them. Instead Kevin has chosen to be more cerebral and let the courts do their job. Admirable considering the stress it has caused him in so many areas of his life and to his employees many of which he considers friends. I also got the stink eye in the court room. I got the message loud and clear from the Seaveys with all those viscous,aggressive looks. The message was... "I'm going to act extremely childish and give you dirty,threatening looks reemphasizing their need to remain in denial that Seavey did a criminal act. Scott Seaveys attempt to cripple N.E.R.D.S through purchasing a known stolen snake from Kevin.. one of the top ball python breeders ... for his own benefit left HIM in cuffs and limping out of the court room, for now he doesn't have a leg to stand on in the ball python breeding industry.
All self inflicted.

Thanks for the update, Kev! I know it has to be some relief to be somewhat over. I'd been wondering when sentencing was.

When I read the post when I seen it shared on FaceBook Something dont seem right as if a Nice peice of the story has been left out I dunno Maybe its just me but somehow somethings not adding up

In all honesty thats just proper business ethics, more so after a "theft" happens you have to let the police do their job who then turn the evidence over to the courts for them to handle the situation and render a verdict

Im sure N.E.R.D's men could of but then Kevin would be in the hot seat more than what some people have him in already... (Please take no offense to this at all Kevin Im just placing my opinion for what little it's worth)

Im unsure of the whole situation as I wasn't there nor do I know all of the details so I can only place an opinion on what I think....

Do I think Kevin could have pulled of a plan to set up another breeder? Yes I do. Im sure Kevin has the resources and more than likely knows the right people that could/would help him as well.

I Dont want to belive that Kevin with his status in the Reptile Industry would do such a thing But... There are some blanks in the story IMO. And anythings possible... But Kevin has IMO WAY to much to lose by doing something like this knowingly and or take part in such a scheme .. as some of us may or may not know sometimes the past presents itself in the future, as if one was to dig deep enough im sure the truth could be found

Yes I do Belive that Kevin played the Bigger man in the whole situation handling the way he did in such a calm matter ( as if it where an animal I owned valued at 10k I would have personaly .... Lets just say I would have to hold myself back alot) and my hats off to him for that as it seems the whole time he knew in a situation like this not only is he on line but His company as well and with whats going on with the Industry now, Drawing more negative attention to the Reptile Industry could play right into the hands of certian politicans that want to place Bans on certian Species of Reptiles.

I hope I dont ruffle too many feathers or step on alot of toes with this post as Im just voicing my opinion for what its worth.

Kevin if something seems to be what some would consider a "shot" at you or NERD belive me when I say it's not, If anything seems to be a disrespectful mark toward you or NERD it wasnt ment to be... I feel this may need to be said to clear up any misunderstandings or any heat that may come my way but Im sure I will feel a little heat from my comments said within this thread.
 
You are apparently reading FAR too much into my statement. The truncation of the article was the fault of the website within which it was contained, and had nothing at all to do with any action involving the principals in the case affecting that circumstance. I was merely hoping someone could provide a link to the continuation of that story for me.
 
Have to admit, I'm still a little confused about letting the original thief off so lightly....now, if someone breaks into my clinic and steals a boat load of class II narcotics, not knowing what they are, and sells them to someone who does know...who is more guilty? If they weren't stolen in the first place, how could the other idiot buy them? Can't help but believe that the sticky-fingered little turd who took the snake didn't know what it was worth, his girlfriend worked there and I'm sure it wasn't a secret as to the value of the snake. Should have thrown both of the offenders in the clink for a long time.
