    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Most people/costumers/friends of mine don't even come on here because of the Ignorant Mafia Mentality on here!!!!!!!!!

I know that all my snakes are in tip top shape and feed 1-2 times weekly and well maintained!! unlike other out there.

I dump $ 400.00 a week on food alone for my snakes. I also clean my cages 2 times a week.

So many people out there that have bout snakes from me are very happy with the health or my snakes.

7. Return customers save money!
8. I am a stand-up person w/morals!

If you accept the $200 now you might as well kiss the $150 goodbye. You will have without no legal recourse whatsoever on the difference. The reason is that he would have shown intent to pay and he could drag paying you the difference until the frogs grow hair. Maybe Lucille can give her opinion on the legal side of it.

My opinion is that once a party has hired an attorney in more that an advisory capacity, they should cease direct negotiations themselves in order to realize that benefit. If Matt has an attorney involved in this dispute, not merely for consultation but to the point where the attorney is actually contacting the opposing party (and Matt has mentioned as much in a few of his recent posts):

he should not be making any offers of settlement here, his attorney should be handling the negotiation and settlement.

All of the above is not only good advice from Lucille, but is also exactly what Matt's lawyer would have told him were he/she seriously involved.

ScottSerpents. Without all the added finesse, can you state in one post why you feel that you do not owe the full amount claimed by Matt, and how the $200 mount was arrived at? Its kind of lost in all the verbage.

You beat me to it, as I was composing while you were posting. That we all have the exact same understanding of the legal mechanics here does point to one of those "Hmmmmmmm" moments?
Scott is at $200, and Matt at $350 ? No legal fees in the world could be justified because of a $150 spread, IMO. Maybe each take a day off from the insults and the thread, try a PM without expletives etc, and find a way to settle? The thread will remain as a testimony to character and business ethics for future research.
