In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

With me now being unemployed obviously I'll need to make some decent money. Just about everything I have now is a holdback. However the snake in question is a banana pewter 50% het ghost female. I have about two months of savings to hold me over, but what would you all do if you had to decide at the moment: sell or keep? This is also the only banana pewter female I've seen anywhere.

I would say family definitely comes before hobby. It is hard to say not knowing the whole situation but for me, I would have to put it up for sale. It will cost to keep it up, food and heat. That is one mouth you will not have to feed.

Can you find another job in 2 months? Feeding that snake isnt going to cost much, neither will housing it... i say keep it and bust your tail to get another job. Even odd jobs will help before you get to that point.

I just got out of the marine corps as infantry/grunt/trigger puller, so to basically everywhere I have no job skills. I've applied to a few places so far and haven't gotten any calls back.

Keep trying, something is better than nothing. But I would put the snake up for sale and see what happens, just because you put it on the market doesn't mean it will sell right away. So while its still on the market, you could look for a job, and if she sells before you get a job, good you now have money to supply your family. If not, good you get to keep her.

Can you sell others off first and make her the last to go?
I agree with others:
1. Family first, hobby second
2. It doesn't cost that much to keep one snake around
3. I would sell her for the money she might bring, but not because of the savings you thought you might get to keep
4. You can always buy another one once you are back on your feet, there will always be something else.

There isn't really much I'd want to sell, nor I could live off of. I just figure that girl would bring in the most money being I haven't seen that combination in a female for sale anywhere. Just waiting on call backs now

Tough choice, kinda in same boat. I produced a fem ban het albino last season & had her up for sale. Then i talked to a few people & decided to keep her. I havent seen any of them for sale either. With animals like that, that are far & few inbetween it may be tough to find a buyer. Almost have to find that one or handfull of people actually looking for it. I say keep her especially if you hit the odds of a female with a male maker like we did. Good luck in your choice. Happy holidays!!

I'm sure you can get a scholarship type deal for vets. I know our local police academy was doing something like that for our returning vets. Good luck in what ever you do. Merry Christmas.
