In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

  • IMPORTANT! PLEASE READ!! About the Google Adsense ads being displayed

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    Addendum: 01/10/2026
    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I am on the adoption comittee for the Pacific Northwest Herpetological Society (www.pnwhs.org) in Washington state. We have gotten to the point where our half-way housers are so overloaded that we've decided to try offering our available animals to those in other areas. We are willing to ship and are currently working on becoming an approved shipper. All adoptions will require the adoptee to become a member of the society ($12 for correspondence membership and $15 for full membership) for one year. Animals officially remain the property of PNHS for the first year (this is just to protect them in the event that abuse becomes evident). The adoptee must be willing to give us updates on the animal's condition during the first year and we will require that the animals be taken in for a health check and have a fecal performed after 6 months. A copy of the vet's report will need to be sent to The Society. The reason we have such requirements is that we are concerned for the well being of the animals we adopt out. We keep our adoption fees low because we perfer the animals to find good homes rather than trying to make money off of them. All adoption fees go the adoption program for PNHS and provide funding for vet visits, food for the animals, lighting, heat and caging for the animals. PNHS is a registered Washington state non-profit organization. The sexes and morphs of the animals listed is based upon data given at time of release this has not been verified, but can be upon request.

I will check on that for you tonight and get back to you on it. I believe we have a Savannah, but not sure.

Currently we only have a savannah monitor that we would be willing to ship. The adoption fee is $40 plus shipping.

Just a quick thumbs up for you folks. You're doing great things. Keep up the good work.

I am interested in the Guyana and the female Colombian if that is what she is...would you ship them...I know it will cost abit but thought it was worth the shot to give them a good home...even would be interested in a corn or 2..what type of corns do you have?

I think you have to go to their website and you can see what they have. I just went and looked really fast and it looks like they still have a lot to choose from.

i just wanted to let you guys know that I'm temporarily going to have to put a hold on this add. I thought I had everything approved, but some of our board is making a fuss about shipping animals. I hope to have this resolved soon. Do please continue to check out our website for our latest listings and I will let you know as soon as I get the green light to start taking online adoptions and shipping animals. If anyone has any info I can use to present to them about shipping animals please let me know as it would be a great help.

Becoming FedEx Certified

The process of becoming a qualified reptile shipper with FedEx is very simple. I have compiled a list to take people through the process.

1. Set up a FedEx account. Setting up an account is very simple. Go to http://www.fedex.com/us/ and click the ‘Open an account’ link. Follow the directions provided. Make sure you write down you account number because you will need it in the following steps.

2. Find your FedEx account representative. I did this by calling 1-800-GO-FEDEX. You will need to say. …TECHNICAL SUPPORT…REP. You will understand that when you make the call. Ask the representative to have your FedEx account representative call you. Then wait for the call. You will not be able to really do anything at this point, but make sure you get the contact info and fax number of your representative. You will need this information later after you get your test package results back.

3. Prepare your shipping box for inspection and testing. You will need to set up a box identical to the way you would set it up for shipping a reptile (but without the reptile). An over box can be used to protect you box, just be sure to write OVER BOX on the outer box.

4. Download this application and fill it out appropriately. http://www.fedex.com/us/services/pd...Application.pdf

5. Contact FedEx Packaging Design and Development Services at 1-800-633-7019 and get the account number that will pay for the test package shipping. You do not have to pay to have the test package shipped, so this call can save you some money.

6. Now you just have to wait to receive your test results. If you pass, call your FedEx account representative. The rep will ask you to fax them a copy of the paper saying that you have passed(or in most cases they will already have it). From this point, the rep will take care of getting the appropriate legal paperwork together. You will not be 'verified' to ship the reptiles until you sign these legal documents.

7. Once you receive the paperwork, you will have to sign your name a few places then send it back to your rep. Your rep should then notify you when everything has went through and you are approved.
