    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

The seller has yet to show up after you posted the images of the broken ribs. Somehow I doubt he'll have any comment for this latest development either. Shane, this isn't going to just disappear if you ignore it. Step up and help Kathy out with this! :NoNo:
 
So much for the health guarantee :( I am now down to only 1 possible breedable maybe animal for this season, one is way too small, one has an RI (so far) and the broken rib one will be a pet if she survives, never bred unless a miracle happens. So, my one maybe 'guaranteed healthy' breeder cost me 465 bucks, plus the cost to treat the others, and feed them, and space and time that could be spent on others if bought from an ethical breeder :(

I am not sure he is even reading this. He certainly is showing that the only concern he had was for the money and not the animals.

Still, knowing all of this I am glad they are here and safe.

Next year if someone has a few healthy female normals maybe I can try this again, if hubby lets me buy anything else. He would, I just want him to be on board 100%.

We have a few huge normals that will be let go after this season, I would be happy to give you a smokin deal on a couple of them Kathy :thumbsup:
 
I would be honored Jerry. I just set down to see what to breed to who and it is depressing. Sure was hoping for those girls to come out of QT in 60 days ready to go all fat and sassy. Now we are looking at 60 days after the RI is clear. I will be treating all of them like they were RI snakes as far as QT goes even if they don't break with it.

Yes, I cannot seem to get it right, thank you for posting it properly. If nothing else, this is a fairly good representation of what to look for in a snake with an RI. It shows some bubbling, drooling, gapping, excessive mucous, and yawning. Thought about putting it over in the health section if I could figure out how to make the link work properly...
 
Poor snake. My thoughts on Shane and his ignorace and disrespect for both Kathy and these animals is this - he needs to be delt with american history x style. If he has no regards for life or well being of an animal of any kind, why should anyone have any respect for him.
 
I have had no contact with him since he blocked me on Facebook except what he indirectly posted to or about me here. I am not sure it matters if he does or not because he made it quite clear he would not refund anything from my good deal he gave me. I will keep updating this thread with their health status, unless it is not what needs to be here. I encourage anyone to please get this word out and anyone may contact me any time.
 
This is the one with the broken ribs, she doesn't do this all the time mainly when first disturbed when we open the tub lid. I think it might be pain related, or neurological i really don't know it would make more sense if she did this all the time.

 
Thats mostly related to arriving ice cold. Snakes that over heat or get too cold, get Neurological damage. Sometimes it goes away over time sometimes not.
 
It may be muscular. When the body heals broken ribs the muscles act to hold them in place. When the muscles are used for a different mechanism other than holding the ribs in place they may tense up to help hold the ribs. I have been an x-ray tech for 10 years now, and with every broken bone the muscles are a major aide in healing and holding the bone in place. Even with a broken femur on a person the muscle will tense up and relax to help hold the bone. I do agree though that the issues can be neurological due to the temps during shipping. I just hope it is not permanent.
 
Which side were the ribs broken on? If it was the snakes left side, I would say it is probably muscular. But remember bone fractures can cause nerve issues as well.
 
WOW really neurological damage... lady this snake has done the same movements for the past 6mths. ive got video proof also! i find it very funny how alll of you think styrofoam will prevent a snake from being crushed or smashed. like i said ive shipped plenty of snakes before and never had issues. i think you may have some neurological damage yourself. your wanting something for free....i told you kathy,,pay for shipping i would refund u.. instead of being an adult about it and working it out you did nothing of the sort, you called me a liar and a theif. and now youre making a video based on assumptions its my fault this snake has some type of neurological problem. you need to get a life an move on. its been how long? the snakes are alive...i rest my case. neurological issues...i FELL OVER LAUGHING AT THIS VIDEO. YOU WILL GET NOTHING FOR FREE FROM ME. i basically gave them to you for 79.00 a piece and you cant even buy a snake from petco for that! i hope nobody buys from me on here an please to god...DO NOT SELLL ANYTHING TO THIS WOMAN! you will regret it
