They are not fine Shane.

The broken rib girl, the one that also has the undisclosed neurological issue, cannot even right herself for long periods of time and her side is sunken in where all the fractures are sustained while being improperly shipped. She has impaired movement in the lower third of her body. She also is having some digestion issues, possibly due to the injuries sustained from the horrid packaging/shipping.

We are battling a recurring RI on the smallest snake most likely due to her being damaged (lung compromised) from being so cold for so long when shipped with improper packing and with a cold heat pack. She may or may not make it and if she does she will not be a healthy weight to be bred for at least 18 months since she was so small when shipped.

The one that was locked with the Mojo is the one that first broke with an RI and she is not gravid THANK GOD because she has been RI symptom free for several weeks now.Had she also been gravid it would have been harder for her to get well. She is the YouTube RI snake in the prior posts.

The biggest, thinnest girl that is covered with old scars, some to the bone, from bites and who knows what else so far seems fine, is steadily gaining and hopefully will be healthy enough with enough fat stores to be bred next year provided she remains healthy through the rest of the QT time.

All snakes of course will have to be in QT until the sick one now gets well, so looking at RI symptom free plus 90 days, or possibly 180 days since they were in such bad shape. Definitely no breeding of anyone this year.

... I honestly don't get where he got the idea that the snakes were in good condition and still gravid and producing for you. I mean it's like he didn't read a single thing you've posted updating all of us prior to coming back here to run his mouth about how great he is and how stupid and childish we all are for doubting him. It's people like him that I can't come up with any other explanation than they are just plain delusional.
 
Perhaps they would all be breedable snakes in Shanes program, even with the low weights, injuries and illnesses. I dont think my standards and standards of care are too far from what most reputable and responsible keepers would maintain but perhaps to some I am being too careful.

I am still wondering what vaccines were given to the wild caught snakes. I have asked several people and no one seems to know of any vaccinations made for snakes. If anyone is aware of vaccines that are for snakes please PM me or post this information here.

Antibiotics arent curing a Disease nor is deworming. Neither of them are classified under Vaccinations. Ones cleaning out parasites, other bacterial infection!!!

You need to do your research. :ack2:

If you are going to attempt to define something you might actually want to look up the definition. A vaccine is meant to prevent an illness, not treat it. Would you be given a flu vaccination if you went into the doctor while you already had the flu? No. That would be ridiculous.

They are just called medications, not vaccines, when used for treatment, which in this case is what all of the things you listed, such as dewormer, antibiotics, and whatever it is you're talking about with "removing ticks".

And as far as harping on OP "getting free snakes" Bull:censored: At this point with the amount of money and time she's had to invest in treating broken bones, respiratory infections, etc she is going to end up spending far more than what she spent on the snakes to begin with, if she hasn't already passed that point. And even worse? All of those issues were your fault and you don't give a :censored: about the fact that these snakes are now suffering because of you.

You need to grow up, get your act together or get out of the hobby. If you can't even have respect for the animals you are using(and that's obviously all you're doing is using them) to make money then you have no business in this business.

Kathy, this is the last post i will ever make to you or on this thread. im sorry you were unhappy with the snakes.i did not lie to you about their conditions. they were fine in my care. i told you i would refund you, you simply called me a liar an a thief. i took that as a no, you were awarded 300.00 out of 400.00. i did not reply to paypal in time for the dispute, so you got your money and you kept the snakes. like i said...if you dont want them you have my address ill be more then happy to pay for shipping and you can send them back. what i really dont understand is why this whole time you never once called being as concerned as you say you are... you always had my number you just never wanted to call and speak like an adult you make this thread and started bashing me.

last but not least, i dont get on youtube and post about how insane you are and make videos sayin your stupid and a bad person.... i dont want to be called childish by anybody else on here because you really have to look what you have done? people need to question who the adult is. i may come off as rude or arrogant when i defend myself but thats my choice.

I will continue to update the conditions of these girls here and on the other sites that rate transactions. Unless something changes drastically with the broken rib girl, we will continue to keep her confined and once it warms up we will most likely re-xray her and see where the ribs decided to re-adhere to. If she breaks with an RI, as she is being housed in the same QT room as the others are, and the one is still sick, I feel we will have no choice but to humanely euthanize her. Struggling to breath with the state of her broken ribs would be extremely painful I feel. If anyone would like more details or more details about this ordeal please feel free to PM me. We will discontinue treatment this go round on the recurring RI girl in a few days, and will update with any changes. Any ideas or suggestions, taking into account all of the prior postings, is greatly appreciated.

I have learned a great deal about the kindness and compassion of complete strangers attempting to alleviate suffering of innocents and that is the best part of this incident. The outpouring of love from this great community is overwhelming and for the people who have supported me and my quest for truth and justice I thank you all. I hope everyone learned something from this and will use everything learned to prevent future suffering for these amazing creatures who have no voice of their own.

You are so delusional it's amazing!! IMO, you should be charged with animal abuse for what your careless shipping did to those snakes! How can you possibly think broken ribs and RI's are healthy or ok at all?! Thank god those snakes are with someone who cares instead of YOU! Lord only knows what you'd do with them!
 
Update

The two girls that came down with RIs have been symptom free for 30 days now. No real change in the broken rib girl, still partially paralyzed and refusing food. I had a family crisis, my mom who was being treated for lymphoma came down with a serious brain and organ infection, Pseudomonas, almost died after being in a coma like state, then her gall bladder became gangrenous and had to be removed even though she had lost almost half her body weight, 78 lbs, and was still recovering. So, I have spent more days in the hospital with her than at home. Fortunately I have great friends that have been caring for all the girls, and I hope to bring them home in the next few weeks now that my mom is back home from MD Anderson hopefully for good. It has been a very long (and expensive) road for these girls, and hopefully they will continue to improve. I hope to re-xray the broken rib girl and make a decision and will post pictures when that happens. I again thank so many of you here and in the other forums for the never ending support.

Possibly, but not likely to happen. Cost of procedure(s), possible puntures due to breaks bein removed after time goes by can lead to internal bleeds/infection causing death usually, or fractures in ribs still attached not healing right causing pain, I've had 2 broken ribs- breathing hurt, everything hurt. They're not human but it has hurt :-( depending on the feeding (lack of) and movement ability, usually the creature is euthanized, I have seen pets (dogs) have broken ribs removed sucessfully but seen a loss due to an internal bleed that wasn't seen also. Poor thing.

Frank Menser For the most part I found it disappointing. Too many ball Pythons and designer stuff. There was a nice 'conjuncta phase' cal king. Unfortunately it was a male and just like the one I have. What stood out was the amount of non Brooks snakes listed as Brooks Kings. Some were obvious goins hybrids. Here and there you could find some nice getua.

Most of those animals never leave the cup and the flippers that peddle them do not care if it dies because they aought them wholesale right off the boat. It dies and cup and all goes in the trash.
