In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Bad Guy sharlaxle--Chamtastic Chameleons

So Kerri, let me ask you a question.

On your facebook page on July 20th 2013 you posted this ad of your babies that were ready to go.

As for those of you saying this isn't the same chameleon I would like to know what you are basing your observation on and how long you have been involved with the raising and keeping of chameleons please. I simply want to understand your level of expertise in chameleons and the various color changes and phases of the Ambilobe panther in particular.

I'd like to ask what experience you have in the raising and keeping of chameleons especially the ambilobe, lol.

Oooooh. I understand now. Kerri purchased a baby she thought was a Nosy Be, it turned out not to be, so she tried to sell it as a pure Ambilobe she had produced herself. Using someone else's picture as her "sire."

Totally an honest mistake. Happens all the time.

But you only received it four days earlier and posted about it on a forum.

You know, there is a very low tolerance for deceivers here.

How about for false accusation? :shootfoot

She actually said she bought it from another breeder as a Nosy be and when she got it it was about a week old if it was lucky. If that is the case there's no way she only had that chameleon for 4 days. She is asking for help on locale because as it grew and colored up you can tell it's definitely not a Nosy be. It looks pure Ambilobe to me. So I think you messed up on your gotcha Dennis.

She is a picture stealer but what do your posts have to do with that?

Fair enough Derek, but her ad does make it sound like its one of her babies that she hatched. She says "one of the boys.."

Yes, shes a picture stealer, she is also a liar (which, I guess all picture thiefs are). But, even when confronted, she continues to lie and make excuses. Probably not the type of person you'd want to do business with

Not necessarily, Dennis might have been wrong about when she purchased the chameleon, and that's a big MIGHT. She hasn't shown the most honest behavoir so who knows when she actually purchased the chameleon. Aside from that on July 16th she posted a query about the cham questioning whether or not it was a nosy be. Then on July 20th she placed an ad for the cham selling it as one that she bred or at least that's the way it comes across. She said she only had this one from that breeder and it was her first Nosy be if that's what it was. Then in her ad with the same photo she says "One of the boys just about ready to go" which means there's others. She didn't state in her ad that she purchased the cham as a Nosy be but had her doubts. Even though 4 days earlier she was racking her brain over the ID of this chameleon. There is definitely red flags waving in the air around that ad.

Dennis's posts have everything to do with this! Yes the thread was started because she stole photos and was using them to sell her animals. Then she even tried as hard as she could to claim that was her photo and chameleon. This thread clearly shows her character and that she has no problem skewing the truth or lie to help her sales. Any info related to the person in question as a seller or buyer is on topic it doesn't have to only address the stolen photos.

So the point that she just purchased the Cham and then was advertising it as one of her babies just about ready to go was completely missed when you read it. I think my "gotcha" was fine.

According to her post on the other forum she got it as a hatchling and raised it to that age. You accuse her of only having it for 4 days. So want to try again.

Yes I did but the point was
Currently I have mutiple clutches of Ambi eggs going and two clutches of Nosey Be. I will also be breeding My outstanding Nosey Be female to a powder blue male. Look for upcoming annoucements of babies and bloodlines to come.

One of the Boys just about ready to go. Starting to color up I'll hold him about another month and he'll be ready to ship. I prefer not to sell them until they are about 6 months.
This way you have an idea of what they will look like and a great head start out of the delicate baby stage!

She had just posted the same Cham 4 days earlier stating she received it from somewhere else.
Hey guys this cham was sold to me as a nosey Be baby. Now this was a nightmare from the get go. Breeder shipped out babies that MIGHT have been a week old, but I doubt it. So somehow thanks be to miracles this baby survived and is coloring up. Now this is the first Nosey Be I've had so I am wondering do they always show this much color, because if this had come out of my female I'd have been a proud parent of a smoking colored ambi. I think the little guy is about 4 months old in the pict.
SO experienced Nosey people, what do you think?
I tried a search, but couldn't find anything that really addressed this topic with pictures so I could judge for myself.

Which to everyone on the forum stated it was a Ambilobe.

How exactly does that mean she hatched it herself? What is she supposed to say here is one of the boys that I bought from another breeder at a week old raised up and is ready to go?

I wouldn't do business with her because she looks so stupid trying to say that picture was hers and that the 2 Chameleons just look alike. There isn't any doubt unless your blind she swiped the picture.

Dennis was completely wrong with his accusation that she only had the cham for 4 days. Plenty of people who resell animals don't say they got it from someone else when they sell it. I have sold plenty of chameleons that were resold and nobody put my info in the ad. I'm fine with hammering her for the pic stealing she deserves it and then trying to deny it was dumb but attacking her for things she didn't do is BS and it happens on here a lot.

I'm sorry Derek. I must have been completely mistaken. When you put up pictures of your sires and sell babies it is completely OK to say they are your babies almost ready to go and pretend that they are from your clutches. My bad.

I guess that is just dandy. With all other reptiles and animals that just makes you a liar. I will keep in mind that doesn't apply in the Chameleons.

Thanks for setting me straight.

Next time try including the dates in your quote she posted pictures of eggs saying they were going IE incubating on June 8 then the above quote on the 12th

The chameleon you have a bee in your bonnet about was advertised on facebook on July 20th. Do you have any idea how long it takes Chameleons to hatch? Any where from 5-6mo to as long as a year or more. Nobody that knows chameleons would assume that the one she was selling was out of one of those clutches. Plenty of breeders breed there own and sell clutches they have bought from other people. There is nothing misleading in the ad zero. The picture she stole yeah dumb and shady the ad not so much.

Dennis tell you what you show me where she posted a pic of a sire saying it was the sire of that Chameleon and I'll agree with you. Because the situation you described is shady and un-ethical I just don't see where she did that. If I was interested in that male I'd ask for a pic of the sire if she sent me a pic or anyone else a pic saying it was her male she's a slime bag. Show me where she did this and I'll agree with you.

That's fine disagree if you wish.

Reading her ad she is pretending that it is from one of her clutches. That's my perception and I don't think it is wrong.

I was wrong in the first post when I stated that "she received four days earlier".

The correct wording should have been she posted four days earlier that she
wasn't sure what the animal.
