I would never congratulate them. Third party shipping is a disaster waiting to happen. Lets just hope they don't ruin it for the rest of us.

I am not saying I will use them, I will continue supplying the same level of customer service as before. I do not want to have to use SYR boxes which may have SYR logo on them and not my own.

Unless their ordering new boxes, tey will still supply the standard white perishable boxes. The highest used box in the shipping of reptiles.


I would like to however get boxes custom made with all the species i work with already printed n the box, and just check which one with number.

Ship your reptiles is probably paying the up front insurance and any and all risk on any and all necessary liabilities. As long you are shipping the correct animals I see no issues. I hard them when they were with UPS and it was great

I ordered boxes from them before and never gotten the all pro shipping ones. they were the standard white ones with perishable on all sides. They might be using them up due to all pro shipping is gone now.

I don't deal in "probabilities" do you have any EVIDENCE to back up your statement? Neither FedEx nor UPS insure animals though individuals nor third party shippers as far as I know.

Here is what someone just posted in another thread. People need to get their own account through Fedex, it's easy, and it's free.

Just checked their rates and I actually save a dollar if I go through fed-ex myself. $49.83 through SYR and $48.89 through Fed-EX. I guess if your not certified then they will work.

I didn't know that this thread was started in the BOI.

It is cheaper to open an account yourself and then you won't have to worry about other issues caused by other customers of SYR or SYR in general.

It also seems like with all of the information that SYR is providing that they are not sure what is legal and what isn't. I feel like what they are doing is giving them a way out if people violate Fed-Ex's terms through SYR.

Go to Uline and have some custom-made labels/stickers done up.. slap a sticker on the box and fill in the blanks.

I confirmed through FedEx that residential to residential is allowed for SYR.
