    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

so I got told today that my three shipments where not going to be delivered do to adverse weather in KY.
If you look at the adverse conditions on the weather channel the adverse conditions are 80 and sunny no chance of rain :censored:

Lol they do that when they are behind and it's their fault, they say something about the weather so you still have to pay and don't get your money back because they are so late. :D It's happened to me with ups alot..

Who told you this? SYR or UPS and do you have a email to that effect?

From who? Post them so we can see who is at fault here. I would hate to think that some are blaming SYR and some UPS....we need to know exactly WHO made the excuse.:)

did they refund your shipping atleast and how long did it take?
 
the emails all came from ups so if you need to look at it that way then there you go but I payed syr so they are responsible and there also the ones not answering there emails

Sorry but how can you blame it on SYR when UPS stopped your shipments due to adverse weather? Also you have no idea what the weather is like in the air which is where the plain would be that has your package in it. Just cause kentucky is 80 degrees and sunny doesnt mean there isnt high winds and turbulence 30000 feet up. Just sayin.
 
I do not see how this is SYR's fault. They have no control over the weather and what is going on in that state up in the sky.


I see that you shipped them out yesterday to be delivered today. Just a little heads up, most sellers will only ship out Monday-Wednesday just in case something like this happens, so the animals aren't stuck in a hot loading/shipping pub/warehouse over the weekend if they aren't delivered on Friday.
 
If you are trying to make a case, then you should post the emails up here so we can see them. How do we know that you even got the claimed emails? So you really need to post as much information as you can if you expect people to take you seriously.

If you copy and paste those tracking #'s into UPS's website, you will see that, in fact those shipments are indeed on hold.

Yeah they are being held. That is a risk you take with shipping anything let alone live animals. Which is the reason most only ship Mon-Wed.

My main issue here is that this bad guy thread title makes SYR look like the bad guy when in fact it is UPS and not SYR that is holding the packages so I just do not see how the OP can blame SYR.
 
It looks to me like the package is lost... Somewhere between Milwaukee and Louisville possibly. UPS always does an arrival AND departure scan at a terminal. There's no departure scan for Milwaukee...

I guess they put the weather thing on there since it sounds better than: "We don't know where your :censored: package is." :shrug01:

I would make sure that SYR is involved in this. They may have more weight to throw around with UPS, and the shipment was against their UPS account.
