In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Bad Guy shipyourreptiles ups

wow I got a red dot for this thread must be a lot of ups and syr fans

I don't know that everyone is necessarily a fan, but I think that some people may have felt that you unfairly laid blame on SYR.
Here is your initial comment:

anyone else get raped today?

I'm glad to see that you heard from 2 out of 3 and they got delivered OK.

I have asked that the bad guy be replaced with an info prefix as when it was all said and done they did get delivered alive. late but alive

The Mods are not going to change the prefix for you. They do not edit anything. It is what it is. I also think you were quick to jump the gun putting blame on anyone, and I am not a SYR or UPS fan.

I am not a fan of any of the shipping options available. I'm not a fan a shipping period. However, SYR has a good record w/ me from the sellers that had used them before they stopped allowing snakes.
I've had nothing but on-time arrivals from them + UPS, and that's better than what I've had delivered by Fedex (who gave me and the seller the same runaround when a pckg was delayed saying weather delay, when I proved that not to be the case.)

I am a bit late on this thread since the animals have been delivered but a few items to be aware of:

- UPS does not guarantee live arrival on any animals so you can forget get any money back
From ups.com
Packages containing live animals must provide for the basic humane care and safety of the animal during transportation. Any package containing a live animal shall be considered a perishable commodity and will be accepted for transportation solely at the shipper´s risk for any damage or loss arising from the perishable nature of the item. UPS shall not be liable for any special, incidental, or consequential damages.

- The weather delay scan in Ky was probably an virtual scan meaning since the whole plane was delayed every package that was on that plane received that scan through the UPS system but did not physically occur in KY

- You could have requested the packages be upgraded to Saturday delivery once you saw that there was a weather delay. Would have cost you more but at least the animals would have had an opportunity vs. waiting to see if they were delivered.

Lastly, watch the weather as both carriers probably experienced delays due to the weather in those areas.

SYR just has an account with ups, their certified to ship. So when you use their account to ship, they charge you a little bit more to make profit. They recieve incentives on their account which is basically a discount. Me personally have never used SYR, and dont intend to. I hate UPS, and if they do owe you money it will take forever to get it back.
