I agree that these acts that you list (e.g. death threats; hang-ups) are cowardly. And you are correct in guessing that I don't have people gunning for me. I commend you for your role in outing some foul scammers and thieves, but for your sake, I hope that you see the fine lines that exist between bravery, bravado, and foolhardiness. I hope that you are never endangering your own safety or that of your family so that you can have fun getting in the last word in some internet battle with a scammer over fake hets, or bad geckos, or whatever. I've had death threats, my address and phone number posted, numerous hangups, promises of "friends" coming to meet me which I DO say is pure cowadice. I have had these fun things tossed my way because I've been instrumental in outing some pretty foul characters, which is in no way my doing alone or brave at all, it's just something I like to do. Given my situation, I like to know who's poking me with a stick, to know if there's a PERSONAL backstory there, to know if it's one of the dumbasses I've handed their own ass to or just someone else looking for a good time.
And a reminder: just as the initial letter in a sentence is capitalized, so too are the initial letters in proper names.
