    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Sick leo -- realistic expectations?

I had this hapopen b4 with my 2 anorexic albinos leopard gekcos....I took them to the vet....Used Jump start and they still died within a day of another...This may sound stupid...But they also had cancer....I did massive research and found out they had a form of cancer! One problem with your gecko that it may become anorexic from being housed with other geckos. Seperate them sick one from all the other geckos you own. Another problem may be TEmperature change...This is very important that u keep and contastn temperature.....The last and final problem may be that your gecko is just too stressed to do anything...eat or drink.. Can you tell me how much it cost for the fecal exam? and than for the medicine for the pin worms. Im going to have to bring a fecal exam to my vet, my leo hasnt eaten in two weeks but shows no other signs of sickness other than weight loss.
 
After school i just got back and found my albino just regurgitated his shedded skin, it sounds exactly like yours did, and he hasnt eaten in 2 weeks. I have no money since im jobless but if i need money ill take what ive been saving for my trip. Does anyone guess how much it will cost me for a visit and than for medicine if he does have pinworms?

May I ask how you know your geckos had cancer? Did you have a necropsy performed?

The amount is going to depend on where you live, and the vets themselves. I would suggest getting on the phone and calling around so you will know what prices to expect. Also, before you spend alot of money, make sure your temperatures and other husbandry-related conditions are correct.

Right now one side of the tank is room temp and the other is 89F. He has a humid hide, a calciumbowl, a water dish and mealworms. He was eating fine when for about 2 weeks than just stopped. Hes in a 20gallon long tank.
 
Alright, i look for a vet an hopefully get a sample in this weekend if i can get my mom to drive me. Thanks for the help, i went out and bought everything i could find on your list, i only couldnt get the hills caned food, so i fed him some of that. Makes me feel better to know he has something in his stomach.
