• In case most of you have not noticed, I made changes to the donation amounts as well as the durations for all of the paid membership levels. Things are winding down here, and this seems to be the most prudent way to deal with the "end of life" period of this site.

    Contributor level members - $10 per 30 days
    Sponsors - Eliminated
    Benefactor level members - $25 per 30 days
    Endowment level members - $50 per 30 days

    On July 1, 2027, all paid memberships will be closed.

    On August 1, 2027, FaunaClassifieds will be terminated.

    Only change I expect that might take place is when I can get around to figuring out when the amount of money I would have to refund for the yearly paid memberships becomes less than the monthly expense of leasing my server, THAT date might be the termination date for the site.

    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

It looks as if the animal is very healthy, also a site specific locale, my guess is that may carry a higher price. I would suggest in the future if you can't get a picture ask how long the exact animal is you are getting and then confirm in a text. I would be more worried about health and quality of an animal and based on the written description it seems they accurately portrayed what they were selling. I am sorry you are disappointed in what you received but I bet after 3 or 4 months you will be very happy you kept it if indeed that is what you end up doing, good luck either way.

The reason she did not ship it back in the first place is she would have to eat the shipping she paid to get the tegu to her and then eat the shipping to have it returned. Is Mike B saying he is willing to now cover both of those costs and make the customer 100% whole?
