In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

SS Exotic Animals-- Deal with them and lose your money!

Yes, thats them. I wouldn't trust them unless they have genetic proof and even then I would question them. I think your better off not even bothering with them.

wonder

Well i sent them a email asking about this het for congo pastel and will post if i get a reply back.

The store absolutely reeks. My fiancee will not go in anymore, saying it always makes her feel like she needs to take a bath afterwords. My friend just bought a white lipped python there 3 days ago, and upon getting it home and warmed up, noticed it was bubbling at the mouth. Since they were closed Monday, he called an left a message, then they told him to bring it in Tuesday. Upon taking it to the store, he was told to "keep the heat up" and that was it. No apology, no refund, offer to help with vet costs. The sales staff will say anything for a sale. Just Say No!

If that is the case, why are you reporting this instead of your friend? Are you going to identify him? Anonymous third party information doesn't mean squat here (and, depending on how it is presented, it can earn infractions).

ill never buy a snake or for that matter anything from s and s again! the animals health should be their first concern, they are all just sales men! mite city and head wobble central! by the way i bought the white lip python, so its not 3rd party info... sorry to get you soo upset buddy!

i should post pics... i just feel bad for the snake.. so now i have to spend just as much as the snake cost to take him to my vet to get more amikacin injections! i love it how people get all pissy about people beating dogs... but just completly neglecting a snake is cool!

Funny, you guys are posting from the same IP address....but I guess that makes sense given your post
Here, he can "identify" himself, so its not a super-secret...
, and his immediate followup.

Since we work together, in the same office, and I am sitting here looking at him, its probably not that funny at all. Do you have some vested interest in S&S? Seem a little worried about comments about them.....

If you want a first hand account, Tyler, his girlfriend, my fiancee and I went there to look at a Spider Ball, and a dwarf retic. The spider was clearly underfed, and had head wobble so bad it could hardly get out of its own way. They were asking 200 for it but were willing to knock 25 off the price. Then we saw the white lip. There was no price on the tank, but the sales guy said he thought it was 150, but he had to check. He tried to keep hold of the snake as much as possible while talking about it, and we only got to hold it for a minute, before he took it away and came back with a price of 100. "We gett'em cheap, we sell'em cheap", were his exact words.
We went back to Tylers place, and his girlfriend was holding the snake, and noticed her arm was wet. Looking closely at the pythons mouth, and pressing lightly under its jaw, bubbles came from out of its mouth. At that point we disinfected our hands and attempted to contact S&S. I hope this satisfies any questions about the authenticity of my post and the presumption that Tyler and I are one and the same, despite the obvious pointlessness of creating two accounts to view classified ads for ball pythons.

Nobody is upset. He is a moderator here enforcing the rules of this site.
You can view them here so there is no more problems.

His post was nothing but anonymous third party posting before you made your statement. Harald was doing nothing more than enforcing the rules that
all will abide by if they wish to post here.

He hasn't commented about the substance of your posts or S&S. He has nothing to do with them at all. It falls into his realm that all are following the rules here.

Considering we require all users here to use their real full names, it was a logical question and assumption considering your both posting from the same place.

While moderators can have a opinion on a topic and can debate back in forth with any member without any special treatment, it's different when they are executing their duties as Moderators. We don't tolerate harassment of the staff when they are performing their site duties. I would watch the antagonism, take two steps back and continue with your topic.

Good luck with your snake.

Why is it not realistic? I mean How many snakes can you have going out in one day? How long does it take to make a phone call? I have delt with a few people buying snakes online and all of them have been great to me. Matt Crabe was on the phone with me off and on for 5hrs while waiting for a snake to arrive that was late because UPS had a new driver. Dan Mulleary called me on his cell from Taiwan (He was on vacation or something) because the snake never arrived he sent me my money back found out UPS never sent it from the california location. when he resent the snake I sent him the money back. I also bought a 1.1 pair from Dale York and he was on the phone with me making sure everything was alright.

Good buisness starts with communication. The next steps are quality and consistancy. If you dont have those traits then you can never call yourself a good buisnessman.

Also wanted to say I was purchasing a snake from Joe Rollo (BCI Joe) and I almost had it paid off and he refunded me in full because I had to help pay for funeral arrangements for my mother :(

All those guys are good buisnessmen that I can say are fairly busy with selling snakes and they make time to call you to check the quality of the animal the day it arrives.
I know a lady who had to ship almost 30 snakes in one day. It would have been impossible for her to have contacted all the buyers. It's the buyer's responsibility to contact the seller to let them know if they've arrived safely or not.
