• Responding to email notices you receive.
    **************************************************
In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Crystal....I really do hope you get what you are looking for but the fact of the matter is that you are asking for something that they have no legal obligation to provide. The only thing that you are entitled to, possibly, is a replacement animal. I do have a few questions for you:

1. Do you have any emails from when you notified them of a sick animal?
2. Do you have the email and the photo of when the snake died (snake on its back)?
3. Is it correct that you are demanding a different type of animal as a refund than you purchased?
4. Do you have a photo of the animal from the day it arrived?

Please allow us to see all this evidence of a poor transaction and sick animal and also explain how you can resonably expect a different species of animal as a replacement.

Every time Stevie Wevie shows his head, I'm always amazed at how he can't come up with a single idea of his own and instead relies on stealing ideas and content from other people. Case in point, much of the content of his new http://reptileandamphibianwarehouse.com endeavor was stollen from http://reptmart.com

For example. The text on the front page of his new site

Reptile and Amphibian Warehouse was launched from our sister company The Veiled Chameleon.com, America’s #1 Source for quality Veiled Chameleons. At TheVeiledChameleon.com, we have strived to produce the absolute highest quality Veileds through our exceptional care practices and our breeding facility. With TheVeiledChameleon.com offering supplies for chameleon enthusiasts we thought it would be a good idea to offer other reptile hobbyists the supplies needed for all reptiles

Reptile and Amphibian Warehouse was born into this industry for the sole purpose of providing a single source for all your reptile needs. We wanted to provide the online reptile world with high quality animals and supplies at great prices from a one stop shop location, and this is what we set out to accomplish. We provide a wide range of supplies including terrariums and enclosures, substrates and beddings, hides and houses, lighting and fixtures, heating and different monitoring devices, vitamin and minerals, and many more. In addition, we provide a variety of the highest quality reptiles and amphibians available.

We do breed a large amount of animals ourself but we also deal with well known outside sources to get some of our High Quality animals. At the Reptile and Amphibian Warehouse we produce quality rather than quantity, this has become a large problem in our reptile community all to many have become breeders of quantity as apose to breeders of quality.

So if you’re looking to purchase your first reptile and a complete setup or your just looking to buy some supplies for a pet you already have, here at Reptile and Amphibian Warehouse , you can be sure you’ll get the best quality and best price.

ReptMart was born in 2009 from Reptile Industries, a world-class reptile breeding company founded and run by expert breeders who have been in the reptile business for over 26 years. At Reptile Industries, we have strived to produce the absolute highest quality animals through our exceptional care practices and our state-of-the-art breeding facility. We felt that it was time someone put that same effort into a one-stop reptile and supply store so we started ReptMart.

ReptMart was created for the purpose of providing a single source for all your reptile needs. We believe that you should be able to find high quality animals and supplies at great prices from a single location, and that is what we set out to accomplish. We provide a wide range of husbandry supplies including terrariums and enclosures, substrates and beddings, hides and houses, lighting and fixtures, heating and monitoring devices, vitamin and minerals, and much more. Our price-match guarantee helps ensure that our supplies are priced so that you can get the most for your pets. In addition, we provide a variety of the highest quality reptiles and amphibians available.

While most reptile and supply companies purchase their reptiles and amphibians from outside sources and then resell them, we don’t think you should have to sacrifice quality in order to have access to a wide range of animals and products. We have the benefit of producing most of our animals in house so that we can send them straight to you from one of the world’s premier breeding facility. This allows us to provide the absolute highest quality animals without their health or price suffering as they change hands multiple times before coming to you.

Whether you’re looking to purchase your first reptile and its complete setup or just looking to buy new bulbs for a pet you already have, at ReptMart, you can be sure you’ll get the best quality and best price.

Yes on all accounts. The pictures were posted earlier. I notified them when she didn't eat. When she was looking sick and when she died. I only got a reply when I mentioned taking them to court. I am demanding a different reptile because they only had one blood and their own TOS says an animal of equal or lesser value. I paid $125 for the blood and the rainbow is the same price

I can only see one picture in your posting and the animal in that picture looks good. Definately not dehydratd and sickly. Posting your emails, with detailed dates and specifics would help in your case.

How long after you received the animal did it die?

You keep referring to emails that you have from them but have yet to provide proof of those emails. Are you willing to post the emails for us to see?

I will do that too. I'll email him now with the link. I have no qualms with him coming on here and defending himself. I already see one of the other people who work there is already a member here but hasn't posted in a long time too.

I did save all evidence to the fact. Including emails, the box and packaging she was sent in, I had taken a picture of her the moment we first put her in her tank as well. And we have her in the freezer :(

This is the picture of her from his website. Which the picture is STILL there, on his website.

This is what she looked like when we got her.

She also requested a picture of her deceased. Sadly she doesn't look much different from the day she arrived.

These two posts here show 1. the picture originally sent to her of the snake. 2. the picture of the snake after arrival. and 3. the snake deceased.

I think you may have just missed them as those pictures DO NOT show a well hydrated and healthy snake as you are referring to.

Are you looking at post 3 and 14? I think you need to go over the thread again.

Just for reference...here is the Pet Lemon Law, taken directly from the Florida Senate's website.

http://www.flsenate.gov/Statutes/in....HTM&Title=->2007->Ch0828->Section 29#0828.29

The law clearly states that it applies to dogs and cats. There are certain requirements these "lemons" have to meet to be deemed "lemons". One of them is that a veterinarian has to say so. Personally, and this is just my professional opinion, I don't think you would be able to find a vet who would throw him/herself under the bus to do that for a reptile.

I do hope you find justice for your terrible experience and I am sorry to hear of it.

It

For some reason those photos did not show on my Windows machine. I am now home and on my Mac I can clearly see that you had a very malnourished animal. What date did you get the animal and what date did it die?

I think you should take the replacement and put this whole thing behind you.

Yeah, I did a search a bit ago and found those and even more than that :( I hate feeling scammed especially when I should have been more vigilant and looked for this stuff BEFORE I sent money. I'm glad a friend told me to check out here though. From now on, I will rely on this site for a lot of info on any more future purchases.

You should always do a search unless you know who your dealing with..This may be an expensive lesson for you...I Hope the OP does get this settled to her liking...It has been proven many times over, from others as well that these people are SCAMMERS...But the signs were there...Dont ever buy from anyone who does not offer a refund,or someone who gives you a DOA and wants you to pay shipping on the replacment animal...And never buy without doing a search on them..I hate scammers...But some are getting smart enough to play the law...yes it sucks..But there are ways to protect yourself..Getting tunnel vision only hurts the buyer when they forget to make sure whats going on around them and read the seller's TOS and lookd for red flags...

I already answered those questions. I can certainly post emails, I already posted a few. Just can't at the moment as I am on my iPhone not my pc. I already stated I told them she was not eating and dehydrated in the first week, within the warranty period. I also already stated I would have taken a replacement without argument that first week but week by week went with no reply.

Karin did say she will send the boa by fedex. And she will send a pic of it eating tomorrow

i will never do business with steve from theveiledchameleon again. he was supposed to send money for 7 ball python morphs and after weeks and weeks of him jerking me around i have recieved no money and he does not answer any of my emails. this guy is a jerk and i hope no one ever buys any animal from him again

No picture yet. I sent an email requesting it yesterday but no answer. Badumda-ching! is how it feels. Like it's a very bad, long joke.

lizardman, like I said, I wish I looked here first. I am probably still not the last person to get scammed by these people. But least myself and others coming forward will hopefully stop some people from going to them. I am sure my story and others will still hurt their business. I've learned from my mistakes and others can learn from me too

Update: According to Karin, the rainbow boa is shedding, so no picture of it eating yet. She did say they took my advice, and did start the process of getting FedEx certified though.

I asked instead to trade for a ball python they have listed and was told, "they just hatched 2 days ago", even though they showed an adult on their website for 2 months as available. So pretty much I am getting jerked around about getting a replacement. Do you people see why I asked for my refund from the get-go? Now I am just getting jerked around.

I wouldn't take much stock in that, sounds more like she is BSing you to buy more time. I hope they do actually honor their ToS with the replacement as I see little to no chance of a refund or a winning court case in your future.
