    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Steven Beckerman - E2MacPets ....not looking good

I do believe that if Steve had recieved any retail sales made through fauna that he would have forwarded the donation portion immediately. The problem is sometimes people like to haggle near cost and this does not leave room for such pleasantries, and these particular types are not interested in helping fauna.... only helping themselves.

It's silly to see someone take advantage of another deal and then try to come back later and say that the reason they purchased was because of steves fauna promotion.

If that were the case they would be purchasing at the advertised rate and donating that 5% to fauna..... Not haggling or trying to take advatnage of another promotion...

Steve is a good guy, It's sad to see him picked apart for attempting to help..... I do believe apologies are in order. I also believe there should be more specifics involved if dealers or breeders choose to offer such promotions in the future.

For a while we were running a special thru fauna that donated a portion of proceeds, and we made a few sales that qualified. As Rich would agree he recieved every cent from those sales. They werent a great deal, but every bit helps. We were sure to note that prices were firm and that the donation would apply to all retail sales for that particular promotion for users who purchased THROUGH fauna classified.

I guess you're better safe than sorry....

From my dealings with Steve and conversations, I find him to be a fine young man. He's worth a couple of benefits of the doubt.

(now, where have I heard that before . . . )
 
I suggest putting our energies into the Fauna Fund; and working together there to help Fauna. Even a modest donation can be fun and produce results, many of the gecko folk have posted in an auction that is running at this very moment for a hairband....(Bid now!)
