haha mythical dragonz... sounds like a kid made up the name, whoever doesn't spell there fake business name right has to be legit.
Hmm, volumes huh? Yes, I knew about others' previous experiences with him and decided to buy from him anyways. I weighed the risks and figured it was worth it for this particular dragon and this particular price. Maybe I just got lucky, maybe he's taking a new direction with his practices and customer service- either way I'm happy with my new acquisition. She's doing great and I can't wait to see what babies hatch out after crossing her with my citrus trans male (after quarantining her that is).
But I would like to know what "volumes" this speaks about me exactly?

Irresponsible decisions can weight heavy on a buyer, and boost a bad seller.I guess we could begin with you supporting a known and proven scammer. That allows them to stay in business and screw someone else. You have helped that to happen. The fact that you state that you knew the danger and "weighed the risks", and then decided to purchase anyway shows a poor business ideal. You are not out of the woods yet. Nicole has been proven to have poor husbandry skills and disease in her collection. Good Luck!
Would you take your car to a shady unethical individual who has been proven to cut corners to have your brakes replaced? Someone who has been caught in lie after lie about the service they perform? All to save a few dollars?
Seems like it would have been worth spending a bit extra and supporting someone with a better reputation.
So in answer to your question: Yes, volumes...
There is always the question, "how are these people still in business?"
That is your answer. "I took a chance cause its something I wanted"..
That is what keeps people like nicole and steven in business.
Here's a new question. What if there WAS a problem??? Would you have come to the b.o.i. to post that issue? And if so, should you be sympathized with?
I probably would of posted you got what you asked for. Irresponsible decisions can weight heavy on a buyer, and boost a bad seller.
Dillion, it does say something about you when you carelessly buy from a person who has more bad guy threads then you do fingers. Forget her karma points looks at her actual buying/selling reputation. It kinda speaks more about your judgment than anything else. Also the fact that your helping a bad guy stay in business. nicole and steven has proven they dont belong in our hobby and proved that she can run no kind of business. If she had a business where she couldnt hide behind the computer it would have sunk YEARS ago, But this was your decision.

Really? Car brakes to buying a dragon? Apples to oranges don't you think? And who said that it was to save a few bucks? I stated that the price was right for the dragon, which it was. Never said anything about saving "a few dollars".
A poor business ideal? Let's weigh these risks: #1- I get a sick dragon, spend the initial cost of the dragon along with vet costs compared to: #2- I get a healthy dragon, quarantine her, enjoy adding another dragon to my reptile addiction, and lastly get another quality breeding female. IMO, the risks are easily outweighed and I stick by that decision.Dillon
What if there was a problem? Yes, I would have posted it on the BOI to keep others from having a repeat problem,
First off, it is called an analogy. The point was that you are putting money into the pocket of someone who has consistently been called out for bad business.
Ok, per your post the price was right for this dragon and you weren't buying it for the reason of saving a few dollars. Maybe I needed to spell it out more clearly and state that I am sure you could have found a similar dragon with the same genetics from a more reputable dealer. Would it have cost you a few dollars more? Possibly.
Your reference to the number of Steven Walker posts is funny. How about Nicole Norton? What is her good guy/bad guy post ratio? It has been proven she is the supposed caregiver to all these animals. Steven has mentioned it himself in numerous posts.
Hey, I hope the dragon is healthy and you have no issues with it. Still think funding a proven unethical business ultimately shows bad judgment on your part. Just my opinion...
I call BS. You knew going in that the dragons do not belong to Mr. Walker. They are Nicole Norton's, yet you persist with the Steven Walker direction. On the bottom of your posts is an ad for a dragon site. You very well may have been in touch with these people on that site, or another. None of your arguments for doing this deal make sense, there is more to this than meets the eye. Why not come clean and post ALL of your communication with these scumbags. Please come here and state in writing that this transaction is the only communication you have had with Nicole and Steven.
So you say that you did the research, and even knowing the history of Nicole and the fact that the dragons do not belong to Steven, YOU decided to purchase anyway. Then YOU perpetuate the scam, by starting a good guy thread. You are going to have a hard time selling that...
It's too bad that we are not born with all the information that we will need in life. Some of us try to learn new things and expand on themselves. Just as it is in every endeavor there is novice and then there is the pro. I have been involved in many things over the years and as I stay closer to home dragons entered the scene and now I have the opportunity to learn what I want about them at whatever level I choose not what others think I should. Everyone needs a partner and I am one and have one. Even the partner thing has levels of intensity and I too will choose what that will be on my own accord. Those of you who do not understand this now, will in the future.
Thanks much,
Steven Walker here it is again for those of you who would like to. 716-207-6230
