Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Good Guy Steven Walker- Mythical Dragonz

sorry i posted that incorrectly. i stated that nicole is a horrible person which she is. but you are correct in that the original message was a good guy post.
adam

haha mythical dragonz... sounds like a kid made up the name, whoever doesn't spell there fake business name right has to be legit.

Actually Mythical Dragons was a reputable dragon breeder back some time ago. Nicole knows this and pretty much named herself after him. Probably in a attempt to carry out his good reputation. But the problem is, nicole is incapable of good business ethics. So it was a matter of time before she was on the boi, or had a bad transaction.

It's NOT about the good transactions, its about the BAD ones. And how the seller handles it.

That is what makes YOU, who YOU are.

Hmm, volumes huh? Yes, I knew about others' previous experiences with him and decided to buy from him anyways. I weighed the risks and figured it was worth it for this particular dragon and this particular price. Maybe I just got lucky, maybe he's taking a new direction with his practices and customer service- either way I'm happy with my new acquisition. She's doing great and I can't wait to see what babies hatch out after crossing her with my citrus trans male (after quarantining her that is).

But I would like to know what "volumes" this speaks about me exactly?

Dont need to hear a bunch of crap about "attacking the op" simply stating the obvious. Or Answering a top 5 asked question.

There is always the question, "how are these people still in business?"

That is your answer. "I took a chance cause its something I wanted"..

That is what keeps people like nicole and steven in business.

Here's a new question. What if there WAS a problem??? Would you have come to the b.o.i. to post that issue? And if so, should you be sympathized with?

I probably would of posted you got what you asked for. :shrug01: Irresponsible decisions can weight heavy on a buyer, and boost a bad seller.

Dillion, it does say something about you when you carelessly buy from a person who has more bad guy threads then you do fingers. Forget her karma points looks at her actual buying/selling reputation. It kinda speaks more about your judgment than anything else. Also the fact that your helping a bad guy stay in business. nicole and steven has proven they dont belong in our hobby and proved that she can run no kind of business. If she had a business where she couldnt hide behind the computer it would have sunk YEARS ago, But this was your decision.

I guess we could begin with you supporting a known and proven scammer. That allows them to stay in business and screw someone else. You have helped that to happen. The fact that you state that you knew the danger and "weighed the risks", and then decided to purchase anyway shows a poor business ideal. You are not out of the woods yet. Nicole has been proven to have poor husbandry skills and disease in her collection. Good Luck!

A poor business ideal? Let's weigh these risks: #1- I get a sick dragon, spend the initial cost of the dragon along with vet costs compared to: #2- I get a healthy dragon, quarantine her, enjoy adding another dragon to my reptile addiction, and lastly get another quality breeding female. IMO, the risks are easily outweighed and I stick by that decision.

Would you take your car to a shady unethical individual who has been proven to cut corners to have your brakes replaced? Someone who has been caught in lie after lie about the service they perform? All to save a few dollars?

Seems like it would have been worth spending a bit extra and supporting someone with a better reputation.

So in answer to your question: Yes, volumes...

Really? Car brakes to buying a dragon? Apples to oranges don't you think? And who said that it was to save a few bucks? I stated that the price was right for the dragon, which it was. Never said anything about saving "a few dollars".

What if there was a problem? Yes, I would have posted it on the BOI to keep others from having a repeat problem, but no, I would not have expected sympathy. What is sympathy going to do for me, honestly? I don't need a bunch of people online feeling bad for me for a purchase that I made.

Carelessly? No, like I've stated many times before I weighed the risks and felt that the purchase was just (which it ended up being). And actually, if you look up "Steven Walker" in the BOI, you'll find two bad guy threads (and another one throwing his name around) and now two good guy threads. I don't know about you, but I have more than two fingers... :shootfoot

First off, it is called an analogy. The point was that you are putting money into the pocket of someone who has consistently been called out for bad business.

Ok, per your post the price was right for this dragon and you weren't buying it for the reason of saving a few dollars. Maybe I needed to spell it out more clearly and state that I am sure you could have found a similar dragon with the same genetics from a more reputable dealer. Would it have cost you a few dollars more? Possibly.

Your reference to the number of Steven Walker posts is funny. How about Nicole Norton? What is her good guy/bad guy post ratio? It has been proven she is the supposed caregiver to all these animals. Steven has mentioned it himself in numerous posts.

Hey, I hope the dragon is healthy and you have no issues with it. Still think funding a proven unethical business ultimately shows bad judgment on your part. Just my opinion...

I call BS. You knew going in that the dragons do not belong to Mr. Walker. They are Nicole Norton's, yet you persist with the Steven Walker direction. On the bottom of your posts is an ad for a dragon site. You very well may have been in touch with these people on that site, or another. None of your arguments for doing this deal make sense, there is more to this than meets the eye. Why not come clean and post ALL of your communication with these scumbags. Please come here and state in writing that this transaction is the only communication you have had with Nicole and Steven.

On YOUR website, YOU made rthe following post...

"There are a few major drawbacks to buying online though, and they are that you can’t view the dragon in person and that you must pay to have the dragon shipped to you. If you research the breeder that you are looking into buying a dragon from, it’s easy to tell who you can trust and who you can’t through websites like Fauna Classified’s Board of Inquiry."

So you say that you did the research, and even knowing the history of Nicole and the fact that the dragons do not belong to Steven, YOU decided to purchase anyway. Then YOU perpetuate the scam, by starting a good guy thread. You are going to have a hard time selling that...

What if there was a problem? Yes, I would have posted it on the BOI to keep others from having a repeat problem,

WHY??? I post on here to keep others from getting sick animals, lose their money, and to keep folks from enabling scammers and bad business people, but I don't read Bad Guy threads and then go throw my money at them anyways, PERIOD!

Just in case there is any confusion in the meaning of what I just wrote, let me break it down for you. YOU read--or at the very least, saw that there are--MANY Bad Guy threads pertaining to Nicole, yet still chose to throw your money to these "people" (Nicole and Steven). Yet, if you had a bad experience, you would come here to share, in order to prevent others from having that same problem???? <shakes head and plants face in palms>

I am glad that your dragon arrived safe and healthy. I just REALLY wish that you had used that same money to support a GOOD GUY!

I know what it's called, it was just a bad example. A life and death situation compared to buying a dragon from a possibly bad seller? Not even close.

So I "possibly" could have spent more money buying from a more reputable dealer? Yes, "possibly".

I call BS. You knew going in that the dragons do not belong to Mr. Walker. They are Nicole Norton's, yet you persist with the Steven Walker direction. You call BS on what? I officially bought the dragon from Steven, so I'll stick with the "Steven Walker direction".

In touch with "these people"? No actually, that would be MY website, thanks.

Actually, there is nothing more than meets the eye. I contacted Steven on 2/13/11, and received the dragon on 2/17/11. Prior to that, I had never contacted/been contacted by either Nicole or Steven.

So you say that you did the research, and even knowing the history of Nicole and the fact that the dragons do not belong to Steven, YOU decided to purchase anyway. Then YOU perpetuate the scam, by starting a good guy thread. You are going to have a hard time selling that...

Obviously, yes. Scam? What scam are you referring to? He provided me with a good dragon, I figure the least I owe him is a good guy post. But hey, that's just my opinion.

There's nothing productive to discuss here, I'm happy with my dragon and that's that. You all have provided your opinion on the purchase and I've provided mine. So there ya go, you can argue amongst yourselves now.

Dillon

Not addressing this specific purchase but my opinion in general of the seller.

I make this statement of opinion as a individual and not as a moderator. I have looked at the individual ads and posts of Steven Walker. I am a hundred percent convinced that all the posts were made by Nicole Norton. After receiving multiple bad guy threads under her own name, she started using her new boyfriends name to conduct business. Her own name was well tarnished in the reptile community. A lot of people will suggest rightly so and some suggest not. At this point, I don't think it matters to the fact that she was trying to hide who she is my using the name Steven Walker . That in of itself is deceptive. Anyone that has watched this unfold from the beginning knows there is no Steven Walker in business in this community. Just a poor sap that is having his name used by Nicole.

I'm glad that people have been satisfied with their purchases.
I hope none will have any problems in the future but if you want to know who you are really dealing with (in my opinion) when purchasing from this seller search the name Nicole Norton (Howlin Gale' Dragons) on this forum.

Best of luck to you.

It's too bad that we are not born with all the information that we will need in life. Some of us try to learn new things and expand on themselves. Just as it is in every endeavor there is novice and then there is the pro. I have been involved in many things over the years and as I stay closer to home dragons entered the scene and now I have the opportunity to learn what I want about them at whatever level I choose not what others think I should. Everyone needs a partner and I am one and have one. Even the partner thing has levels of intensity and I too will choose what that will be on my own accord. Those of you who do not understand this now, will in the future.

Thanks much,

Steven Walker here it is again for those of you who would like to. 716-207-6230

If any of the above drivel is true, then you made a poor choice when you chose your partner. Her history will never be forgotten. Call Ed Clark and ask him, Nicole probably has his number somewhere.

Partners are only good for dance'n Steven and the 1 you've chosen will be stepping on your toes.

OMG David drivel was the exact word that came to mind when I read that post.

So I have a investment adviser. His name is Bernie Madoff. Sure he got some bad press for some "stuff". But it's cool he works for Merrill Lynch now. He doesn't run the show so I have no problem handing him my money now.

....because that scenario would be a good decision right?

Brand new business card... same old crap
