In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Info Tammy & Kevin-Business and morals? Enough is enough

Looks like I am a little late in this. I have dealt with John many times and would not hesitate to do so again. I consider him to be one of the best to deal with in the business.
I have an anery female here that I purchased as a yearling. She bred last year for her first time and would not have anything to do with it this year. It happens, you miss the timing and you have to wait to try it again.
I know of quite a few folks John has helped including myself and I just can not see him selling an animal that he knew to have issues of any kind. I guess it is easier to blame others when things go wrong.
Remember one season does not really show anything here in this.

I concur with this.
John has got to be one of the kindest people I've ever met. He will bend over backwards to help.
A few years ago, I bought a bunch of snakes in Daytona and then had to immediately fly out the next morning and John, for no reason other than being a nice guy, offered to hold my snakes for me over night and deliver them to the person doing the shipping.

This is an issue that is completely out of his control; how could he be responsible for this? He even tried to make it right on many occasions.

Hey John I was just wondering... I have a female Hondo that is very large and aggressive. I did not buy her from you but because none of my males have successfully bred her can I get a new one from you for free? That was a joke and so is their request!
There is a reason that I usually only read and never comment on these threads. We have only met once here in Denver but you are a nice man and should not let this bother you. There are many people who will never be satisfied with life let alone purchases they make. I hope you don't let this bother you and you can get along with a very successful business.

i currently have 13 snakes from john and wouldn't hesitate to get more (vp coral ghost stripes, lol). i've been to his house and seen his snakes also, they're all nice and healthy. last fall at the denver repticon i purchased a pine snake from him. she absolutely hated me, bit every time i fed or cleaned or changed water and would strike against the side of the tank. i told john about this, with nothing in mind other than asking for an opinion on what to do, he offered to take her back and give me a refund.
