    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Let's see, this post is about david and his "supposed" lack of the proper permit??????

tarheel, this ENTIRE thread is about you and your word. YOU said you had pics. Several of us have asked to see them. NOW all of a sudden you "WON'T" post them until david posts his permit???

How stupid is that? VERY.

The one has nothing to do with the other.

You tarheel BOASTED about your precedure when selling reptiles. Well boyo, time to put paid to the braggidacio.

IF, and I seriously doubt you at this point, you have those pics then post them. If you don't, well you're in it up to your chin now, I suppose the end can't be that far away.

Let the meltdown begin.
 
sounds to me like there are no pictures.....you are acting like a 3rd grader. i dont see why you would wait on david to post copies of a permit to try and clear your name. if it were me i would have posted to begin with. but thats ok because i would never buy from anyone who threated to turn someone in. i think everyone has at one time or another cut a few corners anyway...and knowing that you are the trying to turn someone in just because YOU did something wrong and are trying to get some of the attention off of you thats a very bad seller IMO!
 
I most cetainly could post the pictures Mark sent me....but I am not a lowlife turn-coat like Mark is and personally I don't need to help him ruin his reputation any more-hes doing that himself.

I find it very funny that Mark sends a sub-par animal and then when I contact him voicing my concern he gets all p'd pff and tries to dig up dirt on me.....when HE is the one who sent me a snake with mites and a possible RI!!! He sure is quick to find others' faults but he won't take any responisibilty on his end...which I think speaks VOLUMES about his charachter. I did NOT ask for a refund or to return the snake.....I was letting him know it had mites so that he could maybe treat his collection if he did not know the python had mites....but look what I get for being a decent guy & trying to help him out LOL!

This permit business is news to me.....I know you need a permit to sell native species here, but I've never heard of an "import permit".....I'm not doubting his claims-they may be true, but this is the first I've heard of it. So the answer is NO, I do not have a so-called import permit. If I am wrong I will admit it and try to rectify the situation. I will most likely call KY Fish & Wildlife myself and see what I can do to become legal if what Mark says is true.
 
Hey tarheel, did you KNOW that david was supposed have this permit BEFORE you sold him his snake?

Are you stating here, on this MOST public of forums, that you shipped a snake ILLEGALLY to a person you KNEW didn't have the permit he was supposed to have to get the snake?

Are you saying you break the law just to make a buck or two?

Wow...thanks for the heads up David. I almost considered buying from Mark. I don't plan on doing it now unless I want my whole collection getting infested with mites...lol. Besides, the mites, the unprofessionalism here just made me turn away, and not support someone with that kind of attitude. I would expect someone that I bought a snake from to be helpful, and not so abrasive.

This post was about David's dissatisfaction with the snake he received, and it's turned into something more. From what I've read, I believe that the snake had mites before getting to David, unless pictures can prove otherwise. I'm sure David didn't know about the permit thing, but I'm sure he'll have that taken care of before pictures of the snake will be posted...lol. Also, I don't understand why the snake was sent without it being insulated. I know it's been pretty damn chilly here this past week at night in North Carolina.

Anyway, that's just my $.02. Good luck, David!!!
 
I'm glad to hear I saved you from what likely would have been alot of grief Dennis. Thats why I posted here.

On a side note, it was in the 50's here in Louisville the morning that the snake arrived....it sure would've been better for the snake if there had been insulation in the box instead of HOLES punched in the side. :( I guess thats another thing you'll deny isn't it Mark? Or do you have pics you conveniently won't post that prove the box you sent was PREFECT? lol

So what I gather from this thread is that....
1. David had legitimate concerns about mites, poor shipping, and a possible RI, and wanted to professionaly inform the seller of his concerns.
2. The seller shipped the snake regardless of Davids lack of permit, and didn't bother to inform him he needed one
3. Attempts to blackmail him to the wildlife bureau after he brings his concerns to the board
4. Was extremely rude even when concerns were addressed and insulted everyone on this forum
5. Has provided no evidence that anything David has said was false
I think I will take my dealings elsewhere in the future, that is a bad way to run any business, let alone one where live animals are involved. I think I can safely say from this person's attitude and response to David's concerns that he is just out there to make a buck and does not care at all about the well being of his animals.

I'd just like to thank all of you who have posted here supporting me. I really appreciate the kind words and input. The purpose of my posting here has already shown results. Mark....do you still think that screwing me over will not cost you business? I sure hope you are not that delusional lol. It really sucks that there are people out there like Mark, but it also makes me feel reassured that there are good decent people out there as well. Thanks again to all who have posted. :)

this tarheel gentelman and i use that term losely is a real piece of work. I honestly cant believe he has responded this way Im at a loss for words truley this shows this guy doesnt give a crap except the money. Hey David you should have just grabbed a fresh import if you wanted mites possible Ri im sorry to hear your experience. And Mr. tarheel as far as mites go that is a pain in the a** to get rid of if you have an extensive collection so Davids concearns are legit I feel he was very polite in his way of informing you about the situation, and for you to act the way you are will effect your buissness no matter who you are this is a very competitive market and any negative marks effect you.

Wow, way to keep the support among the reptile community, you NARC; nice setting up a customer like that, guess thats one way to cover your @ss...I think just a quick email apologizing about the mites and maybe a ten percent discount of another purchase or even sending him an Andrew Jackson in the mail to cover a new can of Black Knight would have satisfied David and turned this into a good guy thread, (oh thats right, we're all idiots, it doesnt matter)...

You may have ALL the customers you alluded to (and good for you, peggy sue) but your customer service skills quite frankly...SUCK...but who cares, you know...we're all idiots and no one uses this board anyway...well, except for the two guys above who've decided to take their biz elsewhere...

A simple apology would have been enough to satisfy me. But I guess Mark wanted to do things differently......which seems to be working out GREAT for him, lol.

We had a troll post last night on the BOI. It's interesting that this "person" registered just to troll on the BOI. A few people saw the posts of this "person", AtoZ Keys.

I just got off the phone w/ KY Fish & Wildlife...it is true that an importation permit is required....I left my contact info with Willy Cook who is in charge of issuing said permits....I am now going to do what I can to get a permit for importing herps into the state.

also just to let mark know they usually need help at the local fast food restraunts because by the looks of it i dont see you selling many more reptiles once the word gets out how you treat the people who buy from you!
