In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Tats

Ink is a very personal journey

Mine is on my left arm from my wrist to my shoulder. It is a vine with white and lavender roses, intertwined fairies, and a castle at the top. I also have my clean date on my back right shoulder. No names..........I've recently learned that marriage is not as permanent as my ink!!

I like this thread

I am fairly new to this site. I came across this thread, and thought I'd post. Im really tatted out , lots of color big pieces all custom work. No old faded hook tatts on me. I can go anywhere w/o ppl stopping me and wanting to comment on my work & I must say I have never had a bad comment all my tatts/work are strait jaw droppers. Im all for INK. Getting tatted is a very personal journey/experience. I do not have one poke from the needle that I regret, just make sure that when you go get inked it is something you really wanna do and want on your body 4 life. Dont just jump on a bandwagon. That's about it for me. Really cool thread.

ps NO I dont have any cheezy tribal bands. or japanese symbols on me.

no offense to those that do. Jacob Walsh

Jacob Welcome to Fauna :wavey:

No tattoos here, if I go mental I would probably get a lot as I do ike them. I will say that Laura's arm is cool, just as she is.

Welcome Jacob!!

And thanx Mike!! I will be getting more added, I just can't decide, boas...or more ink........boas......... or more ink! See the dilemma!!

definitly

Go with more ink Laura. INK is forever and is a beautiful, meaningful thing. BOAS die sadly enough.

Might as well put out pic´s of the tats that are in somehow related to herps, that I have..

Jenn: Thanx a lot.. Nice to hear that I´m not the only one to like them..

The tat with the three snakes as a tribal, is the originalpic that was rebuilt and is now the logo of my homepage..

Little late

I guess I'm a bit late posting on this thread. But here goes.
I was 39 when I got my first tat. An angel on my shoulder. She is beautiful.
Then I got a cute little mouse on my left ankle. I collect both. No, not real mice, unless you count f/t LOL. I have gotten compliments on both.
I also have a few piercings, tongue, eyebrow, and nipples, oh and my ears.
I did all of this after age 39, so I gave it literaly "years" of thought. I do not regret and of my "body modifications". However, I do dissagree with the "hey I am 18 and now it is legal so lets got get a tat.",school of thought.
It is permanent so I feel that it should be long thought out process. If your not "sure" don't do it.
My husband who by the way is 58 just got his very first tat. A heart and blue rose (special to us) with my name. He said " I've been with you 23 years, and I plan on spending the rest of my life with you, so I thought I would honor you." AAWWWWW.
A freinds response was "Oh no, you'll be divorced in two weeks" Me, thinks not! He is my Love, my best friend and I am still "IN LOVE WITH HIM" :)
Well, that's my tat story. Have a beautiful day all.

I've got some ink. I haven't gotten anything done in about 15 years but the desire to is still there. The first pic is one of a matchig pair I have located on the inside of both my arms (biceps). The second is a copy of the pattern used and is located on the back of my neck (yes, I have eyes in the back of my head).

No tats here.... yet. As a kid my parents frowned on them, "We just don't do things like that." Well, I've thought about it for a long time and I'm ready, but I haven't found the right design. It has to be symbolic. I like Cat's thought of honoring her father, Maybe my children also. I'd definitely need a coverable location. I guess its time to go to the big city and find someone that is a good artist. By the way, how do I explain to my 17 year old daughter to do as I say and not as I do to try and keep her out of the I was 18 and I now regret it category.

Bob, be an example if it is really important to you.
