    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Terry, With all due respect, Prove yourself the bigger man and hold up your end of the bargain, and send him what is due.I can see where your made to look bad, But its just a dark cloud for now. After all is said and done you will come out on top and the sun will shine again. Just a thought.
 
I looked at the gold dust and I would guess that they are females but I cant prommise for sure. They are just a little small to be certain. The v-nigra is nearly an adult and he is $65. I would be happy to trade you out down the road if the gold dust didn't end up being female.

So all together the bill would be $200 shipped.

And Bill how in the world is he proving to be a bigger man?? Is treating your customers like this being a 'bigger man"? I have done business with alot of people and never been treated with such ignorance or disrespect. If he had no plans on compensating me he should have just said that to begin with.
 
Terry Gwin AKA Kcgeckoguy, I see a few problems here. First you say the weather was great where you were shipping. Are you talking about the afternoon highs? If so, then what were the over night temps. You must also take into account of where it will be sorted. The temps in these hubs matter as well.

It also is up to you to add heat packs as needed. If one of my customers tells me no heat packs, and I know they are in error, then it is up to me to set them straight on the proper ways to ship.

I also think your shipping by way of USPS is a real bad choice, but when you make it priority, then that changes to a real bad seller in my book. Why should these animals suffer? You wanted to save the extra cash? Sorry, but that is not how to properly ship live reptiles.

That in its self is a reason to make this right. You knew that these were not hardy animals, and sent them with the worst shipper there is. IMO, you were lucky they did not all die. Priority indeed. :rolleyes:

IMO, you need to make this right. Your buyer is clearly not happy, and it is on you to make it right. This is my opinion.

You might be the only one on this thread to offer any sensable advice. I would never send Don a gecko for Don, but I might send him a gecko for the people of Fauna.

Maybe if Don would stop his insults and appoligize for HIS actions publicly, I could consider showing step by step how his gecko would be sent publicly, that way all involved here would see that I am a stand up guy.

So, Don, are you really interested in a v-nigra, or are you just on this thread to try and feel better about yourself by attempting to ruin my reputation?

You admit on this thread that you recieved your origional geckos in an isulated box (like you did and lied about) and that it was an unseasonably warm time when they were shipped (like it was and you lied about). Also admit that you commited a crime by threatening me over the phone and internet (like you did and lied about), and you can have your v-nigra. If you continue with any other action, I will consider the deal permanantly broken and the people will see that I once again offered you what you paid for.

Also in return, I will change the trader rating I gave you if it is possible and we can not talk or exchange business again. Its not like your going to fly to kansas and do anything so maybe this is the best solution for you.
 
The whole point of the BOI is to warn people of bad business deals, which is exactly what I did. I provided proof and he only provided excuses and lies. I am not the bad guy here. I kept my end of the bargain by paying him. He only comes up with excuses why he will not make this right.

I am also a breeder and seller and if I say I'm going to do something I actually mean it. I have better things to do then to make things up.

I see your point but it is impossible for an outsider to see the whole picture. The only mistake I have made is dealing with Don Zucchi. If people that have nothing to do with this want to keep picking away at this then so be it. They have no idea what actualy went down.
 
MR Gwin, I do hear what you are saying. But the fact of the matter is, you shipped these animals with USPS priority mail, 2-3 day delivery (NOT OVER NIGHT EXPRESS). Why would you do this? Why should animals die at your hand? You saved a few dollars, in so doing, you shown that you are a poor seller at best. Now do you understand why you do not have my full support?

You also failed to supply them with the needed heat packs. And using the buyer for the scape goat on this makes you sound bad. He did not pack the box, you did. I know, you saved a few more dollars.

You have failed to answer these questions, and are trying to blame the buyer for your error.

Terry well I aready told you what needs to be done... just do it.....Fighting arguing is only making things worse. So for what it is worth try to find a middle ground.JMHO

I dont expect any compensation from him at this point as he has obviously made it clear several times. I shouldn't have to beg for forgiveness on something that wasnt even my fault. He has made me mad and I admit that, which is why this post was made. He also never tried to correct this situation. I never intended for this to get nasty, but when people cross the line then things tend to get ugly.

Here is the temperature I looked up for the date that they were supposed to be delivered. I could only find for Trenton, NJ but its close enough. I am a breeder and a seller like I said before why would I insist no heat at these temperatures?

Don is lieing about the shipping in several ways. It was sent OVER NIGHT EXPRESS. I can probably dig up a tracking # by going to usps website if I need to prove this also.

I would never send a gecko over a 2-3 day period. That is insane! Also, if I made a mistake about the heat pack, OK. I couldn't tell you if there was one in there or not. It happened 4 months ago. I agree with you. No one should cut corners when it comes to shipping animals. If anyone out there cares for the geckos more than the peoples opinions its me. Do you think several geckos some even hatchlings shipped in the dead of winter with no heat packs for 2-3 days would even come close to making it. Come on. Don even commented how great the other geckos looked when he got them. Shlit happens and every great once in a while a gecko dies in transit. In this case its not because of a lack of shipping knowledge. I have been doing this for a long time.

If you look at polls on Repashy.com you will see that quite a few reputable breeders use usps. I didn't do it for convienience or to save a buck. Out of the 100+ geckos I have shipped via usps, Don is the only one to recieve a DOA. He also NEVER proved it. I stress this because I cannot refund or replace an animal that has no evidence of dieing in transit. I NEVER RECIEVED A PICTURE.

Beleive me, if I thought sending don a gecko would salvage the situation I would send him one. It won't make any difference. Don is the kind of person who is unhappy with everything and everyone.

If the v-nigra was his concern, he would own up to his threats and admit he has acted immaturely.

I don't want you (Bill) to think I don't respect your opinion. So far you seem to be the only one on here to say something inteligent. I just wish everyone could wear my shoes for a minute.

Bill, if you take everything I have said on this thread and you believe it is the truth, and you still think I should send him the gecko then I will.
 
I don't have a sub-adut don, you know this. I dont have anything but hatchling less than an inch long tiny tiny babies.
