It was shipped express, but as it says on their website: Express mail is a gamble whether or not it will overnight. "Overnight to most areas" That to me is as bad as shipping it Priority Mail and hoping they get there alive.

If you go to the USPS site, on the Express Mail page there's a link that says, "Check Service Commitments." On that page you can type in a zip code to see if an Express Mail shipment is guaranteed to arrive the next day. Not only will it tell you what time on what day it's guaranteed to arrive before, but it will also tell you when you need to drop your package off by. After sending out over 100 shipments through USPS, I can say that they are VERY good about meeting that Express mail guarantee and are very hassle-free in giving you a refund if the package arrives late. I was able to walk in the next day with my receipt and get my refund by cash, whereas it took weeks before FedEx answered my refund inquiry and they still turned it down.

Also, here's another thing some of you might not know. USPS Express Mail shipments are done through FedEx.

I am not going to be harassed anymore by this. I did the right thing and warned people about you, I dont deserve all of this abuse for doing so. Don, I would do everything in my power to make sure you followed up on this. For instance, I would contact his local pd and file a police report. While that probably won't accomplish much they will at least keep it on record for future reference.

Xelda, read back in the beginning of the post where he states he was going to do this. Its on page number 3. If you dont think he did it contact that ad site yourself and prove he didnt. Any further information i get is going straight to my attorney. I have proved enough on this thread.

I'm not arguing with Terrys friends about this. My lawyer contacted the site and by law they must provide the information requested since its my name being used. I have proof he used 3 email accounts to harass me ( one which was opened in my name) and soon i'll have a legal letter to use against him. I know he did it.

My girlfriend was about to call him up and let him have it when she saw that.

Randy, I've met him in person and I'm willing to give him the benefit of the doubt. If there is no hard evidence showing that he posted the ad, then I'm not going to assume that he did.

I'm not insinuating that Don posted the ad himself. But I can't help but notice something fishy here. I'm sure a lot of you BOI-regulars know the difference between a person starting a bad guy thread just to get his money back and a person posting solely to trash another person. Well, let me just say that I don't think Don's motive was to get his money/gecko back. Look at the progression of this thread. When everyone was chiming in saying what a horrible dealer Terry was (prior to his first post here), Don was rather encouraging. At no point did he say, "Hey, look. All I want is my money back." Well, what I find fishy is that as more people began to particpate in the thread, he went from wanting to trash Terry's reputation to wanting a refund or new gecko. Then things finally seemed to reach a resolution for the BOI audience because Don was getting a replacement gecko, but I still wonder if Don was fully satisfied. Getting a refund or new gecko wasn't his original motive for posting this thread in the first place, so of course it wouldn't end there.

All due respect, it seems that he asked for a refund several times. I think the larger issue here is his BEHAVIOR... even if this Don guy is making half this stuff up and is a true "problem customer", it still doesn't speak well. How a dealer handles a problem customer is very telling as to how they handle their day to day business. That being said, I don't believe Don is a problem customer, and I do believe he asked for a refund several times. I know he's a friend of yours, so maybe just email him as ask him why he would go to the trouble and make such a juvenile display of registering a new email and pretending to be a customer? That's something a 12-year old would do thinking its clever.

I agree with you that the gay site thing will need proof... however, the previous thread material alone implicates him.
