Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I do not condone shipping snakes USPS. And you may certainly choose to not deal with anyone who has admitted to doing it in the past. I also recommended he not do it again. I am all eyes and ears to the survey you have showing where a seller's business has dipped because they admitted to a past USPS shipment of a serpent, not to be confused with any current business should he continue to try to ship USPS. We also know that the USPS is loathe to enforce it, which if they did, certainly would cause a problem. :slamit:

The question you posed to Lucille is very difficult to answer. There’s no doubt in my mind there are people who don’t mind knowingly breaking the law. The question is if it’s that easy to find a partner in crime repeatedly. In the present case “it takes two to tango” as it is as guilty the one who sent the animal as the one who agreed to it. It would be highly doubtful though that a snake seller who uses USPS for shipping will have repeated customers among those who don’t agree to break the law.

I believe that to be both a very true and very safe statement. BTW, I posed no question to Lucille, so you lost me there.

IMO Lucille, maybe you need to go back and re-read everyone's posts. IMO, my position that "admission to a one-time shipping of a serpent by USPS was not going to have a negative effect on his future business" was IMO. IMO I based the "O" on 37 years of experience, my first snake ever shipped being an Eastern Indigo via USPS Air Mail Special Delivery, circa 1969, when I was 14. IMO I have had a couple of reptile transactions since as well. I hope we are not on some inevitable path to where every sentance must begin with the acronym "IMO", IMO. :) Good luck Matt!

#38 was addressed to others who may or may not get what I meant, as none of them raised a concern .... so far. It borrows mildly from other discussions I have had with them recently. Likewise with the other quote you posted. Unless you and Griz are one-and-the-same, I don't expect it would make sense to you. It refers to a discussion he and I had, and did not involve you in any manner.

I guess that my post #43, which was addressed to you, was OK? You mentioned a question which I had posed to Lucille, I think, and I was curious .... kind of "Oh ! I did?", as I had not asked her anything. I agree with the "answer", but hope I didn't miss anything by not knowing the "question" I had asked. :rolleyes: I hope that clarifies things. If paypal was used he would have had his money prior to shipping the animals. There would be no paypal case, no BOI thread, and no one would have been screwed. I can count the number of people I would send anything COD to on one hand. That was my point. Why send anything COD to someone you have never met?

No, Harald is correct. This is going to get real old, real fast. Everytime you bump all those threads, you knock someone else of the front page. Someone else who may have a better chance of getting paid than you do. He has been suspended from here and can not reply to you. And you know as well as the rest of us, he will never pay you.
