• In case most of you have not noticed, I made changes to the donation amounts as well as the durations for all of the paid membership levels. Things are winding down here, and this seems to be the most prudent way to deal with the "end of life" period of this site.

    Contributor level members - $10 per 30 days

    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yes he did make an apology but he took it back a couple of posts later. Then repeated the same remarks again in another thread.
I would also say the reason he said he made the post was a lie but I will just quote a better statement.
Sometimes someone speaks what they believe to be truth and their recollection is different than yours. That doesn't make either party a liar and does not entitle you to be "rude, obnoxious and a jerk”

Just because it was not something discussed prior to the good deed does not mean he did not have a portion of his being counting on the fact something would be posted about it here. No one said you were involved in some great conspiracy hon... nor did anyone insult you. No need to take offense.

Like I said, a very stand-up thing to do. It is a step in the right direction, lets just hope the direction does not change as it has in the past..... I do not know why he chose to "go back" on his previous apologies and quests to be "good" but it seemed like after he stated he would all was pretty quiet. Almost like he was no longer in ANY spotlight and a negative one suit his fancy as good as any. Like bad attention sufficed.... Well no attention IS good attention Jim. Hopefully you stick with this and not jump back to being a jerk the second you no longer have peoples attention....

No..sorry but unless he told you himself... you DO NOT know. However, while there do be a fishy smell, I am willing to attempt some suspension of disbelief and go with it in hopes that it will continue. I must admit after being tactfully directed to other threads .... thats a matter of some difficulty.

It's nice that Jim the jerk did the nice thing he did. It would be nice to see Jim the jerk do more nice things.
