• Responding to email notices you receive.
    **************************************************
    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Finding out there's at least 481 reasons to be very cautious when trying to purchase a Crested Gecko, and just as many reasons not to trust people! :/

Yep and that's what I'm going to try my best to do - it's just ashame that seems to be 483 bad breeders out there!!! And sometime those who were thought to be good breeders turn out not to be. But a las, I won't give up my search, I know first hand there's good people on here I can trust.

Maybe if you let us know what crestie your lookin for, all 484 of us can help? :D

I'd really like to find an adult female Harley or Extreme Harley soon - preferably orange, but I'm open to other colors. Although for the time being it's too hot to get anything shipped to me. It's like 485 degrees here!
I would really love a proven female, or least one of breeding age.

Go to one of your 486 herp shows in your region! :D might just have to go to an outtastate show :p

Yeah, there's one in Houston,(487 miles away) coming up this weekend I think. Other then that, I'll have to wait until October to go to the one coming to NOLA. Unfortunatly, we get about 3 shows a year in my state - if we're lucky! Most people down here catch reptiles/amphibians and eat them, not keep them as pets. :(

I'd love to- but I can't take off work :(
Plus, I don't have the 489 dollars it would take in gas to get there!
And, you know if I went I couldn't just buy what I came for, I'd end up seeing lots of cool stuff I want and end up spending another $1000 that I really don't have (and I don't think the Visa people would be happy with me... Lol)

497 bottles of water later... time for a trip to the recycling center!

MIL-STD-498 (Military-Standard-498) was a United States military standard whose purpose was to "establish uniform requirements for software development and documentation." It was released Nov. 8, 1994, and replaced DOD-STD-2167A, DOD-STD-7935A, and DOD-STD-1703. It was meant as an interim standard, to be in effect for about two years until a commercial standard was developed.
