Whatever did make them choose to do this, they have learned their lesson, it seems.

Yes I made a mistake, Yes Mike made a mistake. We have gone through all legal hoops to rectify that. We have lost monetary things, we paid for our mistakes The only one who hasn't paid yet is Dave and not mistakes but calculated moves as I have found out since and prior to me ever moving here.
This is not a pity me thread, this is a in case someone doesn't read everything or is new or is perhaps unknowingly harboring, so this doesn't happen to someone else. Or has snakes that were sold to them that shouldn't have been without authorization.

I went to some great lengths to run Lawson off of fauna when he was a moderator here. It cost me $ - I was fined a few times for engaging him. Its slap in the face for me to learn that Roz and Mike took up friendship with that scumbag. It should be the same feeling for anyone that put their efforts into seeing Lawson run off of fauna.

It comes a point where just have to laugh at all this and worry about yourself I guess.

Bobby, again, the timeline coupled with the fact that I had met his family. I am not asking for pity or solace, I did not come on here in the first place. As Mr. Lawson is not behind bars, and has a history of getting off with a slap on the wrist if anything, I doubt we have heard the last of his criminal actions.

I'm going to preface this by saying, very clearly so nobody can claim I am trying to say anything else, that I believe Dave Lawson is a bad person. He's a criminal, a thief and a liar who nobody should ever do business with.

That a complaint has been lodged, once again, against him is not a surprise.

What was a surprise, and by it's unusual nature, a suspicious one, is that people who otherwise seemed credible and intelligent had thrown their lots in with Dave Lawson on business dealings.

I don't buy the idea that Rozann made an innocent mistake. There's such a massive pile of evidence of Dave's past wrongdoings- on this site, including in threads she has participated in- that it can't be defined as anything but a conscious choice to ignore what he had done because it was... something. Personally profitable? Romantically motivated as has been suggested by the rumor mill? A way to get a ridiculously cheap house? I have no idea exactly why... and no longer trust her statements or explanations, she has lost all credibility. I do know that she's not stupid enough to put all the blame for anything at Dave's feet. He's not that slick and she's not that dumb. She made a choice.

I also do not trust that Michael is being honest in what he has presented or the spin he has put on it. He's directly lied to me about this subject which I believe destroys all of his credibility as well. Sometime around the time of my last post he sent me a private message, which I read when the page refreshed to show me the thread-

He's claiming this thread is some kind of sting operation or entrapment scheme that had been cooked up to draw Dave out where he could be tracked down. He also claims that this was done with the permission of the site owner.

It was certainly enough to make me pause and consider the contents of the message. I stopped responding to the thread while I gave that angle some thought.

I also checked with Rich to find out if that was true. And then got permission to post Rich's reply to me publicly. Here's Rich's response-

Nope. Besides Rozann's PM a few minutes before this one, first time I heard this. And it's nothing verified anyway. Dave Lawson uses AOL, so he could register on here 100 times and there would be no conclusive proof that it was him. And to be perfectly honest, since my hopes to put some verification on posting on the BOI via a payment process was shut down a while back, I really don't worry too much about such things. My desire to put a large level of credibility into the BOI pretty nearly sunk it when people left in droves afterwards. But people can't have their cake and eat it too..... So they just have to live with the fact that absolutely anyone at all can register here under a false identity, and there is absolutely nothing that can be done about it under the current conditions.

Besides, as I have already indicated, there is a real good chance that the BOI will be gone by this time next year anyway.

As for me being involved in something to draw out Dave Lawson, HAH! Why should I waste my time getting in the middle of such things? Quite a few people assume that their molehill in life is a mountain to everyone else.

So Michael was quite willing to tell me a blatant lie to stop me from questioning him for details in this thread.

If he's willing to lie to me about that, then anything he has said on the subject immediately becomes suspect. It's no longer possible to trust that Dave ripped him off (rather than say... pissed him off) or that the nature of the deal was as he has presented it to be. He's utterly destroyed his own credibility on the subject because there's no way to sort whatever truth may be at the bottom of the matter from the lies or spins he's put on it to make himself look good and Dave look bad.

Dave's a bad guy. Dave should be held responsible for his bad actions. Dave should not be held responsible for things that a liar is claiming happened.

When thieves have a falling out with liars, apparently the result is a massive garbage slinging free for all where the real victim is the truth.

I'd say that three reputations had been ruined here... but Dave didn't have a good reputation to start. So only two of them have proven themselves to be new bad guys, aiding criminals and lying to the public.

What pertinent info that we came on here to give is mainly on the first page so the warnings are out there.
Say what you want, believe what you want, I personally do not partake in the rumor mill when it can be avoided so I will leave that up to you. You go gather up all the rumors you can and I will gather up all the information that I can.

That is all I have to say on the matter right now...

I knew and I believe Mike knew we would get slammed coming on here, but I still feel it was the right thing to do, it puts it out there and helps others to go after what they are deserved. I made a mistake, your put your twist by adding "innocent" in there, something that did not come from me but your imagination alone. I was aware he had some civil cases, I was aware that there were some criminal cases as well but that they had been going on since 2002 and thus far, to this day they have not gone to trial yet to say yay or nay as to his guilt or innocence. I have learned a lot more since coming here and Dave skipping town after another continuance was denied says a lot, IMO.

I wasn't going to post after this thread but for you I will. When it comes time to present all we have including PM's and IP's but not limited to, I would like to share that so people, like me, who thought you were half way Seams at one time can see that you are not. That there are other people who know when to be discrete and.. some like you who don't.
That when people have made mistakes, admits them and follows through to fix them you are one who kicks them to try to keep them down.
You have failed in that. I know I will continue to keep going until this is all resolved and the people who have helped have been paid back for their kindness.
To recap the first page and important parts.
