Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Trying to clear things up a bit...
Until this "steaming pile of you know what" popped up here, our board was a well respected, informative gecko community, and it still is.
YES there have been issues with WaxWormFan (steve) on and off our forum, some of them were resolved, most of them were not.
Mario has been keeping an eye on Steve for quite some time now, as it is obvious that Steve is set in his mind on how things are going to be. As a moderator he wrongfully went over the admin's head about moving the specific topic mentioned above, then when questioned about it he argued and bickered with the admin. Normally it wouldnt be such a big deal, moving the topic to a more appropriate forum, but in this instance the topic was not only the new member's first post, but it was standing on the thin line of being spam|event. After this was sorted out, I continually recieved IMs from Steve bashing mario: everything from this incident to the way the banner on our forum looked. In most of them my replies were as simple as "hmmm" or "oh wow" because, frankly i was not appreciating a mod bashing the admin.
I believe steve's next strike (interpret this as you will) was going behind mine and Mario's backs and banning/blocking a few certain young users for supposibly calling him names off the forum. No offenses occured on the forum, yet he blocks these users from using our services. Yes this particular user(s) was "odd" and obviously young persons, but IMO thier personal conversations bore no reason for steve to block them. This young person and his brother each contacted me through YIM/MSN asking what WWF's problem was and why they had been banned. I politely asked them to send me transcripts of the conversations between them (if they didnt mind) and they did. Someone was in the wrong, but all i can say is the transcripts from each party (steve vs. members) did not match up at all. Using my best judgement and considering once again that this had absolutely nothing to do with our forum, I contacted Mario and he unbanned them. Now. The banning of these members was not the choice of a good moderator.
My refusal to post my personal conversations with either party Mario or Steve is my own choice. I have evidence in my cache on my computer and on the forum itself of recent incidents, but history past a few months ago is just that... history, as i have gotten a new computer and my "hardcore evidence" is now sitting at the dump somewhere.

The j.Puker thread is very in depth and has many levels of his deceit outlined. It started out as a warning and many found out they where not alone in his misdealing both financial and as a forum mod. In short, avoid him and his forum like the plague. He is still spamming the Kingsnake classifieds to gain posters in his classifieds. Sad..... he is truly very sad.

The poster reposted his thread. Steve moved it to the appropriate forum. The same forum the admin moved the original post to. Is this going the admin's head? I think not.
So Steve as a moderator is wrong for blocking posters who "supposedly" did nothing wrong.
Can you tell me exactly what it was that I posted that got me banned? Because I replied to Mario's (The Admin's) UNPROFFESIONAL post. I thought I was proffesional. But his unproffesional post disappeared and so did my reply...then I was "blocked". Explain that. Let me help you...only mods and members have to follow the rules. The admin, not only makes them up as he goes along....but he does not have to follow them either.
Brian, from what I can recall about those instances when JeffB and kingsnake.com made it to the BOI, it was not anything financial that brought the issues here, it was the manner in which the people posting the threads were dealt with by JeffB.
I guess it may boil down to how finely we might want to split a hair concerning what is an acceptable discussion in here.
Honestly, in a lot of cases it is just a best guess on my part, I suppose.

Ok I wasn’t going to post again. But let me clarify your questions or comments.
The first one. Yes it was moved but with a shadow topic that was found to be pointless.
What a shadow topic is kind of like a shadow of a post or thread. It leaves a link to where the post is. The problem is, it’s just like the post is still their in that section. Except now, it can be accessed and behaves the same or similar to as if it was really the real home of that post. So it actually only makes it worse. As if the intention to move the post to not be in that section. It’s still kind of basically still is, if that makes any since. It’s like a copy or mirror.
So leaving a shadow is not resolving the problem or removing it from when it shouldn’t be.

As you can see these rules have been around since the beginning. These rules are here to protect the members and the integrity of the board along with the people associated with it.
Moderators are expected to show a degree of professionalism and follow these rules as well. Moderators are also expected to show a good example. All the criteria we expect were not adhered too.
As a admin, I make the rules. I can post in a way I feel appropriate. And yes, I do not have to follow the same rules. For instance, I can display ad’s or postings if I feel appropriate. Such ad’s that may help support and keep this board running.

you were attacking the BOI. you lied about the BOI attacking the gecko community. I did not flame you that I know of. I was so polite I even called you sir.

4. No Spamming. We have the appropriate forums and categories to advertise your site or your gecko’s for sale.

Just saying the responce was sent by the system once I banned the user. We generally do not run into problems to ban many users, and have dealt with updating and changing the system do to server issues that caused some problems. We are still working on all the bugs. But I did ban the user.

Mario has also locked Steve F's name and told him he needs to reregister. My personal suspicion is that this is to force Steve F. to agree to an updated TOS that will keep him from speaking out.
As for my trolling. I have admitted to posting as "Troll" on a long dead forum, and revealing the exploit to among others Mario. The password for "Troll" was public knowledge and as I already said, there were at least 6 unique Trolls, Mario being one. Rakell wasn't, to my knowledge. Mario's other "alibi" did troll, but to a limited degree to my knowledge and definately never needs to be brought into this.
And as for my bragging about raping children... um, I hope I don't have to reiterate how obscene that is.

Um their hasn’t been any recent update to the TOS that I am aware of. The reasoning behind having him reregister is to protect the integrity of certain information. I did not immediately remove the mod status, but after thinking about it for a short bit, I did. I am not going to make someone be a moderator that does not want to be one.

uhm.... i Never recall Mario being a "troll" on the long ago dead forum. He did however have a little picture he drew with a troll circled and X'd through that was posted numerous times when a post was delivered by someone trolling the forum... I'm sure he could post it here as proof, since that is what all of you NEED.
