    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I am impartial to this whole thing.  Like most of you, I do not know anyone involved here personally.  I'd hate to think that a person involved in this 'community' of people could do such a thing to deceive the rest of us.  I cross my fingers this will go another way and be at the fault of others.  I find heresay to be just that' 'heresay',  but people keep coming here to post away without the facts, and we need facts to form an opinion, right, not heresay.  I say, if you have facts, post away; if not, don't bother to post.  Neil, I (as most people) can see you're logged on here.  I (as most people) know you must be following this and reading all of it.  Why you do not post to defend yourself is beyond me.  If I were in the same situation (THANK GOD I'M NOT!!&#33<img src="http://www.faunaclassifieds.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/wink.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=';)'>  I would definately defend myself when needed.  Your lack af addressing the situation and accusations at hand can only lead people to think the thoughts they dread.  I hope you begin to practice what you (and many others) preach (communication&#33<img src="http://www.faunaclassifieds.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/wink.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=';)'>, say something!  The accusations being made are of the most serious nature and must be addressed!  Come on, jump in here with that 'New York attitude' and fight for your honor or sink with the rubble!

I believe you are innocent.....but everyonce in a while I NEED some proof to back up what I beleive in.  IDLE words of "beleive me" does not last too long...I will sooner or later need REASSURANCE

For an "in your face" kind of person, your answers are very subdued. Dave is calling you a liar, a thief, a stoner, basically the lowest slimeball who has ever posted here. He says you stole from your own father who set you up in business. He says you stole from us. If he is a liar, then say it!.................. SAY " DAVE YOU ARE A LIAR!!" Very serious accusations have been leveled in your direction. The time for cop-outs, silence, private e-mails is over. I am not sure of your agenda(s), but your evasiveness is not helping your case. I am going to sit back and wait for the P.I.'s report, on the advice of a friend. A very credible friend at that. I would very much like to post my full feelings on this. However, until all cards are on the table, I cannot form an accurate and fair opinion.

Does Neil get special treatment from you? Why is he exempt from posting his emails? Since when do you need to get permission to post emails sent to you?

I have donated to Neils case and I have given  free geckos to anothe case. I thought this was a great site to be involved with but I am now seeing it differently. Because Neil is a friend to Rich or anyone else on this board he should still be treated like everyone else. Rich, you don't need his permission to post his emails to you. Post them like you have posted other emails with out the permission from the sender. This board owes everyone all information that is available. The call went out on this board to donate to Neil and everyone answered that call. Now a call is going out for all information, emails and facts to be posted on this board. Lets see who answers this call.

Ritchie.....OK, I'll answer THOSE questions....

WC/CB....Yes, Dave did sell me 10 large WC Balls for $5 each....I sell them in my store ONLY....I have NEVER posted Ball Pythons (with one "Melting Ball" exception) on ANY forum!! They're not worth it! I tell EVERYONE that wants one in the store that they ARE WC...The one's that have eaten...we sell first...the one's that haven't eaten, I tell them! Angie tells them!
I also have about 25 CH babies in the store....I explain to everyone what captive "hatched" means...

Anery (Blacktail) ....I bought the snake from a very well-known breeder who told me it was an Anery....I posted it on KS...that day, a very knowledgeable person told me it was a Blacktail because he could see some pink hues on her side....I immediately deleted the original ad, and put it back up as a Blacktail (some of you might even remember that) Like I JUST DID with the Male f1 Salmon Boa (that was sold to me as an f2 Super)....yes, the snake DID DIE (of what, I don't know), but...yes... instead of just deleting the ad on KS, I said it was sold and I thanked someone (my bad)....that was the first time I ever did something like that...and the last!

Police Reports .....I have the last two reports in the store, but, I can't find the first two....but, remember this (and ANY of you who work for an insurance company can back me up)....I WAS paid by the insurance company for the first two, and they WON'T reimburse anything unless a Police Report had been filed! After the second burglary, my insurance company cancelled my Theft insurance, and I have NOT been able to get another policy for theft from anyone! Burglarize my own place so I can collect on insurance I DON'T HAVE??? Ridiculous!

Pop's $$....That's a LAUGH!! Even the old man got a kick out of that one??? I WISH!! Sure.....I got over 100K from him....wonder why I'm not hiring more people??? Yeah, right!!
BTW...just for the record....My parents live in LAS VEGAS!! Talk about your absentee owner??? Yes, my father owns the "Corporation" (Jandeg, Inc)!, But I OWN ALL "THE SNAKE PIT" STOCK!! PERIOD!! I OWN The Snake Pit!!

Your silence elicited exactly the same response we all had (you included) when other individuals were questioned because of their silence. As you said we "construed" as guilt the silence of many other individuals. In Ritchie's words everyone is going to be treated equal, no exceptions. That's the only way this site will remain credible.

To be quite honest, I don't know what to believe, so I am just keeping an open mind and being on guard against everyone.  I will not allow my site to take another hit if I can help it.  I have no idea why James went to your father, but it certainly does throw yet another wrinkle in all this.

At the very least I want all talk of donations ended right now.  I have no evidence at all that anything unethical is going on, but certainly someone is going to attempt this in the very near future if I allow such things to bloom on the BOI.  I will likely even remove all threads about thefts and
the like from the BOI, as they are not within the boundaries of the purpose of this board.  If someone is identified as the culprit, then that would be a different situation, but nameless thefts and similar crimes are not in keeping with what the BOI is designed for.

But I cannot spend any time pondering it right now.  I have females dropping eggs all over the place and I cannot, and will not, lose clutches of eggs by spending time with this saga.  Apparently something is going on between you and Dave Lawson, but I cannot get in the middle of it.  I will not pass things you say to me on to him, nor will I pass things he may say on to you.  I am not a rumor conduit.

Neil, I hope the rumors are not true.  I will accept the truth, regardless of what I want it to be.  I feel betrayed by what I believe James has done, so my personal involvement with everyone in this business will be at arm's length, for my own peace of mind.

I stole my own snakes, shipped them to someone out of state, and then they shipped them back to me and I resold them!!! Somebody is out to TRY and ruin me!!
I have NO CHOICE but to fight this....hell, even YOU don't believe me! This is my NAME and REPUTATION at stake here???
I don't have a lawyer to shut them up? I have a lawyer to protect me and my reputation! I WILL NOT just lay back and hope this all blows over....I FIGHT! (legally)!
I'm sure James got my father's number from his Stained Glass website which I had sent to James to show him my father's work....as I did for you....but, I can tell you THIS....SOMEBODY has been in touch with James because he KNEW about the check for $2000 that my father had sent me for my 50th birthday (April 4) to get my lasic eye surgery done....James told my father that I used the money to buy drugs!!

Well, things are looking up a little....I jst got a call from Det. Bob Cole, who's in charge of my case....he just told me that he spoke to Julie and Dave and he DOESN'T believe them!! All they have are a couple of pictures of some of my snakes, which I was told that they took clandestine-style! And they have some report from a vet who says that my snake was dead BEFORE it was stolen!! THAT I gotta see!! Julie said that
HER OPINIONS came from what she heard everyone else say???? What the hell is that?? She is going to get a lesson in the law VERY SOON!
Rich....All I'm asking you is to be VERY CAREFUL if you want to post that report from Tom....I don't mind (EVEN IF Tom says I'm the LEAD suspect) if you send it to everyone that donated money....but, please don't put it out publicly?? I DID NOT DO THIS and I don't want my reputation ruined before I can get to the truth! I WILL PROVE this to you, in time!!
As far as James goes....I have NO IDEA what to do about that??? I'd LOVE to know WHO gave him all this info on me??? HIM, I WILL SUE FOR SLANDER!!

Yeah, that's what your father told me as well.  I just told him that that's the first I heard of anything like that.  Not very believable either.  If it was in fact James that contacted your father, why?  If James is trying to get back into the picture, I would think I would be one of the first he would contact.  Or perhaps Danni.  He had a good think going with our relationship.  What I would like to know is how someone else could so easily contact James when I have been completely unable to for months.  Is someone close to you capable of contacting him?  I would think that only a few people would know about that money from your father, since as far as I know you did not make it public knowledges.  Certainly I never knew about it, so it wasn't posted on the BOI.  So whom do you know that could possibly be in contact with James?  That would certainly be a very big WHY? as well, as to why this person is in contact with him.

This is beginning to sound like twilight zone stuff.

Just be careful how you use an attorney.  They seldom help a reputation in many people's eyes.  First off you don't even know whom to go after about this, and then secondly suing for slander or libel is very difficult to prove in court, because you would wind up being on the defensive.  Heck, I've been threatened with enough lawsuits over the BOI that I've taken the time to look into a lot of this stuff and find that in nearly all cases they are just nuisance suits hoping for a settlement to appease the person filing the suit.  The person filing the suit really does not want it to go to court, because they would be in the uncomfortable position of having to prove all of the negative things said or put into print were false.  In most cases a countersuit filed by the defendant, even in civil court, results in a nullification of the original suit as settlement and both wind up just spending some money on attorneys for no good reason.

Personally I doubt I will ever get that report from Crowley.  Even less so that he would give me permission to post it publicly.  But I'm sure you realize that my paying off the bill was something I had to do.  Just as if he does send me the report and he does give me permission to post it, I will
have no choice but to do so in order to fullfill my obligation that James left me holding the bag on.  There are a lot better things I could think of to spend that $670 on.  But once James jumped ship, he left me on a one way street that I have to follow on to the end.

So why are you saying I should be VERY CAREFUL about posting it publicly?

Man, I've got to go feed snakes.  I really don't have the time to spend on this crap right now.

As far as James goes....I'm almost POSITIVE that it is Julie and Dave Lawson who are in contact with James, because (other than Angie, who I trust WITH MY LIFE!) they were HERE when I got the check in the mail and I showed it to them saying that NOW I will be able to SEE!! THAT'S how
they know about that check.....they were the ONLY three that knew of it!! Angie DIDN'T tell James....gee, I wonder who it could have been???

Sorry, been busy with things around here, otherwise I would have responded to this email sooner.

Now you've really got me confused.

WHY would you be concerned with Tom's report unless you know what it is going to say and it is not flattering to you?  How would you know this?  If you don't KNOW this, but suspect it, what makes you think that?  I remember James telling me that Tom had some black guy pegged for this crime and he was trying to get more concrete evidence.   If this were true, why would you be concerned with this information being made public?

Neil, a lot of people paid to hire Tom Crowley and they want to see results of what they spent their money on.  If Tom sends it to me, I really have no other choice but to post it.  This ball started rolling when James came to me about the
donation thing and I suggested hiring a PI for this case. I NEVER heard one word from you that you did not like this idea, and you certainly could have refused this from the very beginning and that would have been the end of it. All you would have had to say was that you wish to decline our generous offer.  NOW is far too late to have misgivings about this whole idea.  Once you accepted this plan, you accepted the results of the investigation by implication.  My site has taken a big hit over this, James has sunk his ship with his actions, and I have taken money out of my own pockets to try to placate all injured parties in this mess.  My intention is to close this matter and be done with it.  No matter what it takes.

Obviously I made a mistake by even getting my site involved in this stuff, but this should have been cut and dried, however something very suspicious is going on. Whatever is is has turned what should have been a good deed into something very ugly.  And I'm sure you are right.  I WILL figure this out eventually. Even if I have to further pay for Tom Crowley's continued assistance to really get to the bottom of it.

And I'm sure you realize by now that I call a 'spade' a 'spade' and I will lay the cards, whatever they may be, on the table.

If Tom sends you that report....by all means POST IT!! I'll deal with the (alleged) problems if they arise....
I also agree that TOM had told me that some black guy was responsible (99% sure!)
I hope you CAN find out what's going on....it's driving my NUTS trying to figure this out! I've ALWAYS been NICE to everyone! I just don't get it!

Does your dad have caller ID?  How does he know it was actually James whom called him?  Did 'James' leave your father a number to call him back on?  I'd really like to
know if this was truly James Thornton whom called him.  I would try to contact James myself to ask him, but I've already caught him in a few lies and wouldn't believe his
answer anyway.  Anytime I catch someone in even ONE lie, then I doubt everything they ever told me or will tell me.

Heck, I don't believe you would sue me.  You, more than most people, should know that I do this BOI thing just to get to the truth.  I have no axes to grind and try to keep as neutral and impersonal as I can.

I have posted a reply in that breakin thread, asking you for an OK to post your latest emails with my responses.  Someone has asked if I had been threatened by you with a lawsuit and I told them 'NO', but did paraphrase the 'VERY CAREFUL' statement you made.  I would rather people read the entire text, as I believe it provides more background then my segment taken out of the text.  Even this latest one would go in there.

Neil, I'm trying to remain neutral in all this, and not take sides.  Even if you did do what the rumors say, I would much rather have it just go away than to be exposed on my site.  It means I took part, unknowingly, in this by pushing for the donations for the investigation, and that would not set well with me or a lot of other people.  I would rather not have
FaunaClassifieds take yet another hit because of something like this.  So I have good reason to hope that the rumors are not true.

But be that as it may, even if it means I have to shut down the site afterwards, I have to ride this out to the end.  I've got to be able to hold my head up and say I did all I could, as best I could, and leave it at that.  I've heard it said that "that which doesn't kill you, makes you stronger."  Well I'm getting to be one damn strong son-of-a-bitch lately.

Well, after reading all of those emails, I think many of you can see why I was reluctant to post them without clearing it with Neil first.

Yes, I do consider all emails sent to me in reference to incidents or situations taking place on the BOI as subject to being publicly posted, but I do have to use my own discretion about if and when I will make them public.  In no event am I OBLIGATED to do so.

I have a few things to add 1) I have not been contacted by a Det. Cole from T.P.D.at any point and to my knowledge either has Julie. If you all reread one of Neil's first post on this thread he said a Det. Heron was in charge of it.2) I have not talked to Ray Marteliz in months we do not get along and if any of you remember we were at each others throats a few months back so why would I tell that I broke the law? 3)Neil never showed me any check for any amount ever.Now here is what I am going to do ,I am going to call Det.Cole and show him a copy of these e-mails and then I am going to get ahold of Ray Marteliz and ask him if he did tell Neil this B.S. Neil you know that you just lied again to the people of this board but these lies I can prove! Oh and for the record I never told Angie that I wanted to buy anything from Neil's store do to the fact that most of what he has is sick,I never had any Hypo boa at any show I did have several super and tigers retics.That brings me to another point Neil posted that a HYPO SUPER SALMON was stolen in this last robbery now he is saying it was a regular HYPO BOA that proves that he lied about what was taken.Neil I an also going to touch base with Mr. Crowley again today and see if I can get something from him stating that he never told you anything about photos or Vet reports that Julie and I have see it was me that told Neil that I have photos.Yes Angie does tell people the truth but you were telling people in your store that the Balls were C.B. do you think for one minute that Angie will lie for you on the stand? I think that Neil knew that I could prove that he lied in those e-mails to Rich Z. and that is what he meant by a few more lumps.
