    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

THE SNAKE PIT WAS BURGLARIZED *AGAIN* LAST NIGHT!!

Oh,One more thing,Neil has told me  that a guy named Jake  told him that he was at the show and saw the stolen  snakes on my table I called Jake and his response was "Neil is a f**king liar I never said that i was not even at the show" I also just got off the phone with Ray Marteliz and he said "I never told Neil that,I have not spoken to you" ,He has agreed to go to the board a read what was said about him.I will say this he was upset to know that Neil has dragged him into this mess.I would also like to point out that I do not know Thorton and Neil has talked of him for weeks before the burglary and wanted me to let him do my web site and after the burlary Neil was the ONLY person to be able to get in touch with him.Go back and reread some of the post in that thread Rich Z. ,Thomas Crowley or anybody for that fact could talk to Thorton but ole Neil always could,Now that smells fishy

That's the only thing that count, facts that can be proven. I don't know about the rest, but I would like to see Ray Marteliz posting in here confirming or denying what was said. Once I hear from him I will have my opinion formed either way. The rest I'll live to the authorities.

I have been ask by Angie/manager of the snake pit to post a statement on her behalf.The reason that I was ask to do this is the fact that she has no access to a computor besides for the one at the snake pit and since Neil is working with her all day she knows that he will not let her post.The statement in her words:

I did not tell Neil that Dave told me that he wanted to buy the retics and/or Hypo Boa or any other snake in the store, that is a lie.I do not think that Dave or Julie burglarized this store.

On another note I did talk to Ray Marteliz this morning and I was told that he never said anything to Neil about me.I hope that he post soon.
 
I called Ray this morning to see if he WOULD post what he told me on here....now, he's changing his story....NOW he says that it was SOMEONE ELSE who told HIM that DAVE said I paid him to burgle me! BUT....he WILL say that, anyway! And, I put Angie on the phone so she could hear him say it, too! I wanted someone else to hear it and be a witness to that statement!! I know how you guys think!
Obviously, you guys aren't going to be happy with anything! So, I'm now going to stick to my last statement....I'll let my forthcoming ACTIONS speak for me from now on (on THIS thread)!! Are you saying that Ray Marteliz was also lying previously? This is getting to be quite a tangle of lies. Who do we believe now? There is a lot of resemblance of this thread with previous ones where we (with your help) questioned individuals really hard about their actions, which in some instances weren't even close to this intrigue.

I strongly disagree. We will be happy with knowing the truth. Whatever that is. We (or at least I) can be forgiving if a person comes honestly up-front and says "Hey I made a BIG mistake". Nobody is perfect, and we have all made mistakes and hopefully learn from them. Now, if we are repeatedly deceived we will not forgive or forget.

In my book you are still innocent (but so is Dave L. as I have nothing that proves otherwise), but there are a lot of inconsistencies that are showing and that need to be addressed.

They can make any excuses they want, for not saying what they did say, and changing their stories around when confronted....let's see how they answer when they're UNDER OATH!! And if ANYBODY thinks I'm kidding....you'll find out soon enough! I've had ENOUGH of this! ....Neil
 
The question is how will you answer under oath? We know that Angie,Ray Marteliz his wife Jenny,Rich Z. ,Detective Cole,Thomas Crowley,Julie,me and everyone else that you e-mailed privatly are going to say But according to you everyone is wrong but you.You have posted all these names saying that they will back up your stories and when they won't now they are liars.Face it Neil the more you talk (or type)the deeper you dig.Tampa P.D. shift commander was real interested in your E-mail to Rich Z. where you stated Det. Cole talk to Julie and me and said that he did not believe our story......can you say obstuction of Justice/That det. never talk to either of us,I was told to contact him Monday on this matter.You did the very same thing to Thomas Crowley because you know who robbed your dad's shop and you do not want a investigater to prove it.
 
Let's just lock this topic down till we get the PI report.  I am so sick of reading what Dave is saying, he sounds like an old woman with a corn on her foot the way he keeps nit-picking everything.  It seems like he is grasping at straws at this point with some of the things he is saying.  I am waiting to hear about the dead iguana covered in poop again.  Some things don't matter to people Dave, like with Neils dad owning his store, WHO CARES?  Neil’s dad lives in Vegas, its not like he is at the snake pit all the time overseeing operations.  IT’S NO BIG DEAL.  Who cares if someone has smoked pot?  Can any of you honestly say you have never done it?  We all have skeletons in our closets, there is no need to open that door though.  The only mistake Neil has made in my eyes is the fact that he was a friend with Dave Lawson.  Bro's before Ho's Dave.  I don't care if I ruin my rep, it doesn't matter to me.  I know Neil didn't do it, and I would rather lose my rep sticking up for something that I believe in rather then sit by and watch a good person go down.

It was not my intention to point fingers at no one, I hope you understand that. But if people are going to take this site seriously they have to know that we do stand for friends, but that we also stand against what might be wrong. Whoever is involved in it, and you will have to agree with us that "fishy" is not a strong enough term for what is going on here.

One other thing, there are a lot of people in this board that stood-up for you in one way or another (including myself).  They deserve to be informed on what's going on. By "dissapearing" and not defending yourself, even if you feel those allegations are ridiculous, you cast the same doubts we had of other people.

I will tell you why it is important for everyone to know  Neil does not own any part in the snake pit it is very simple.Neil was crying a river because "his store" was robbed and he has no insurance to cover it,Now here is the tricky part Neil has nothing invested in the store or the animals in it (Jay Gubitz's words) so he steals from the store sells the animals and  the owner of the store (Jay Gubitz ) foots the bills. Neil has everything to gain and not one penny to lose.In the words of his dad "Neil is only the general manager he owns nothing".
 
There has been a lot of talk about poop and a lot of poop-talk.  Let's wait to get the whole poop and nothing but the poop from the PI.  For now I have no reason but to believe that Neil is the person we all thought he was.  I have never seen anyone post that Neil ripped them off.  
  We all got way too involved with money(for the break-in) and emotion and now it threatens the existence of the BOI itself.  How much more can Rich Take?  How long until the board seems like a trash-talk forum and not a place for professionals and hobbyists.  How long until Rich gets fed up and shuts this down?  Who else has the Ball$ to build a site like this and stand up under the threat of lawsuit? The industry is filled with conartists and scams.  Some of the finest reptile people in the business use this board, and it seems that it is Falling apart.
  Let's get it together!  The good guys need to band together to get the criminals out of the business.  Banning together is the only way we will be able to stop the animal rights people who want us all out of business, or the criminals who hurt our reputations.  Please think about it.  Neil is still Neil, and  Dave is still Dave. Neil and Dave,  I am ordering you both to go have a drink (or 10) tonight together and work this out for the sake of the BOI and the industry.  If you don't the BOI may never be the same, and may some day not be here.  We can all see that something happened, but unfounded speculation doesn't do us, the BOI, nor the industry any good.

Ken, What you are saying is true and I back you 200%But I have a question for you,If I prove all or most of what I am saying then would not that make Neil a bad guy who needs to be removed from the industry?I know that what I am saying is correct and factual.My daddy always told me he say "Dave, you only have to tell the truth once but a lie you have to tell over and over again,boy you better remember the lie you told".I have stated the truth and answered everyones questions but it seems Neil is having trouble remembering the lies that he has told.He made statements about what people have told him and now those same people are telling Neil a different story so Neil is going to put everyone on a witness stand.I want only for Neil to be a man and admit that he lied about the Det. talking to me and Julie,tell the truth about what Ray Marteliz said to him,tell the truth of what his employee Angie told him,tell the truth about the ball pythons and admitt that he tried to lie about the motlist granite boa being stolen (he tried to cover it up by saying 'I was confussed",I know and so does Neil that snake was in the freezer for days before the robbery) I know that this is alot but it is what we all need to hear from him.If he does this then I will let the police do the rest.

Neil has everything to lose even if his dad does own the store.

Sh it if one of my kids some day have a store and I own it and pay the bills. And it does nothing but lose money then I would have to close the store. Why keep it open if I'm losing money.

Also sense Neil's dad does own it think about it Neil is his son. So he may have started the company and like any father he lets Neil run everything pay bills keep the profit ect.......

So either way if the store starts losing more money then it brings in then Neil would be out on the street. Think about..

Only if he gets caught. I have a unfair advange I know Neil on a personal level I would talk to him almost every day so I would say that I know Neil better than most,I know beond the funny little guy that makes jokes I know the true Neil.
 
Dave,

You probably know that what you have just said and left in writing about Neil can be used against you in a lawsuit. Having said this I would have to assume that either you are plain suicidal, or you might have information about those who bought “stolen property” and you are using that information in your behalf to avoid being sued.
