    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Kevin....I don't care WHAT the others say! I think you're a great guy!! lol If I ever decided to take you up on your offer...I would absolutely abide by your rules!! I think you know that, though! A friend of mine came in today with his 135lb German Shepard with the same offer! Which I accepted!! Starting tomorrow....That "wolf" will be residing IN MY STORE AT NIGHT!! From NOW ON!! He was even nice to Tinker!! Of course....my lunatic Rat Terrier (Tinker) started barking at HIM!! I think she had a death wish! BUT...she got away with it!! The things women can get away with, huh?? lol
Seriously, though....even though Julie isn't being very nice to me right now (to say the least)....I'm SURE that she had NOTHING to do with it in ANY WAY!! She's just not like that! I TRULY believe that!! ....Neil

 Did they steal the worms?  Just kidding.  Sorry to hear about this.  Before turning into Wormman my main day job was/is in law enforcement.  Most of the time when the cops come in to dust for prints they throw around the powder for show and then leave.  It is done to make the person that was robbed feel good, but it really doesn't mean anything to the police.  The only time they seriously dust is when there is a murder, or a major heist.
 I happen to have a 24 hour vcr sitting around that you are welcome to if you want it.  Just let me know.

               I am just getting the news of your recent break in and I am so sorry for you man, you really dont deserve this !!  I also dont think Angie had anything to do with this, she is too much of a sweetheart to do you wrong like that.  I think this Julie person knows a lot more than she is letting on though ....  She seems so close to the fire I would not be at all surprised if she had a few burns on her, if you catch my drift.  Neil I have enjoyed a visit to your store but I didnt really think it was in a " BAD " neighborhood, naybe you ought to consider moving the store to a better location, especially if this is the fourth robbery in three years.  Dogs dont always solve the problem ,look at what happened to Carlos here in miami, the people killed his dog !  Scum is everywhere but maybe the answer is the location.  Sorry again to hear of your loss, your a nice guy and dont deserve this crap.

heres what ya do ... get 2 vcr's  place one in planre sight keep a dummy tape in it . Then keep the real VCR in the ceiling ... make the one in sight look legit. wires etc . then use the hidden one for taping one if ever again it happens they will take the idiot VCR and you will have them on tape doing  so .... Sorry about the misforunes dude . let us know what can be aided in doing ...

As far as me knowing more than the police - I never claimed that. I simply said that I know more than most. I have a number of friends on TPD because where I work they are the security at night and frequently stop in during the day to shoot the breeze and/or to grab a cup of coffee. And as I said - I'll be more than happy to talk to Mr. Heron and tell him what I know.
 
Julie...You have GOT to be kidding??? At 22 years old, you've been holding a grudge THAT INTENSE because it took you 15 minutes to TALK ME INTO letting Angie help you with something??? She went, didn't she?? I still PAID HER, didn't I??? If I recall....you were gone A LOT LONGER than one hour??? I still PAID HER for that, to...didn't I??? What?, because I didn't say yes IMMEDIATELY??? You come into a PLACE OF BUSINESS in the the middle of the day...and ask me to let my ONLY employee go with you to help you with something?? Personally I feel if the police are discussing this case in so much detail to an outsider they should stop. Why would they tell more to someone outside the case than to Neil? That just does not sound right. there is supposed to be confidentiality in law inforcement. I have not yet had the pleasure of doing buisiness with Neil yet but as I and others can tell here his reputation speaks for itself. A few slanderous statements from one person is not going to chase away his buisiness so give it a rest.

Hey bro, sorry to hear about your troubles man. D@mn. I'm just shaking my head here. I've been away for a bit and just now read this thread (my personal life has been pure hell as of late). I've got quite a few choice words and four-letter expletives that I am inclined to use right now. But I am very mentally and spiritually exhausted at this time. So I will refrain. For the time being, of course. If I can help, let me know. You know, I've worked my @ss off for all the snakes I have. I have alot of hard work, love, dedication, pride, etc. etc. into my collection. I know how I'd feel were anything to happen to my collection. I honestly feel for you man. Hey Neil, I'm sooo sorry to hear all of this happened to you! I can't imagine what I would do if someone stole my babies. My suggestion would be to call the cops and ask them about Julie, and why she knows what she knows? That might get their attention considering they aren't supposed to be discussing things with outside parties. And as much as you don't want to consider this, look at ALL parties close to your business. I can say firsthand from experience that you would be surprised what your "friends" will do for money. Years ago at my job we had a horrible shrink (loss of inventory) problem. Myself along with other management employees searched every option for where the money was going. After I was no longer working at that store, I found out that it was one of my best friends! She was also one of the management employees who was looking so despirately with us for the problem! The only reason she was caught was because an undercover cop came in one night and witnessed shady behavior, and it just went on from there. Basically, I'm just saying, don't rule anyone out, you never know. For your sake, I hope it's no one you know. I'll keep an eye out for anyone selling snakes fitting the description of what's missing.

well, after seeing Julie's unbelievable posts on here I wanted to post, but I had to email Neil privately because I had a hard time controlling my mouth.  taking unfair advantage and coming in here to attempt to hurt someone even further--that's just inhuman. I cant believe anyone would do that, no matter how they felt about you.  and this is supposed to be a "friend".  
I agree--talk to the cops about this person--why does she know so much...you know that the perpetrator is someone who knows what you have and what certain herps are worth.  this person seems to have motive in the form of a grudge--you can use this thread as proof of that.  i would guess, if it wasnt her, it was someone she was badmouthing you to--and she could very well have been an informant.  i'm sure she knows where you kept these animals and their worth.   urrrrrrrrgh!!!
maybe she's pissed cuz you gave all that good stuff to her exboyfriend instead of her...

Hey Neil, I am really sorry to hear about your misfortune. I hope you find the #######/s doing this and chop them up in pieces and feed them to your snakes. But you probably would not want to feed them something that would kill them right. Anyway, I have a question for you. You stated this in one of your posts.

Did you have the cops dust at all? And if they didn't, why didn't you just put a towel or some sort of cover over the lids while they dusted? If this happened to me just ONCE, I would be doing EVERYTHING and ANYTHING posiible to find out who did this. I understand you were thinking of your animals but when your animals keep getting stolen or killed, how is a little dusting going to hurt?

And just out of curiosity, do you have insurance? The reason I ask is I would gladly send some money your way to help you out. I would send it to you though...nobody else. But if your insurance has got you covered for stolen property, then I am sure you are not worried about the money.

If you find the person/s doing this Neil, please let us all know. I would very much like to see this person/s hanging from a rope at the Daytona Expo so that we all can take turns beating them with a new snake hook from Midwest.
 
Taz....YOUR post is EXACTLY the reason ALL OF US INSIST on REAL FULL NAMES being put at the end of EVERY one of your threads!! I realize you're trying to give me a heads-up, but...if you want to be taken SERIOUSLY....I would SUGGEST you come back on and post your REAL FULL NAME!! You have every right to say whatever you want to....but, it's the cowards (NOT saying you are one) who have to hide behind their computers and berate and degrade others while all the time remaining anonymous....it's NOT FAIR!! I understand this is your first post, but...go back to the beginning and read the rules of this board....
In any case....Dave HIMSELF showed me that flier...AND showed me his WHOLE POLICE FILE!! NOBODY'S PERFECT!! I can almost GUARANTEE that 90% of YOUR friends have had a run-in with the law at some time in their lives! SO HAVE I!!! It's NOT the end of the world....
To give you other folks some insight...the FIRST burglary happened right after the Tampa show in 99...it turned out to be the OLD OWNER of The Snake Pit that was responsible....I was PAID by my Insurance company...Insurance companies WILL NOT settle a claim WITHOUT a POLICE REPORT!! So, there's the FIRST report.
The second time, they stole my 6' Albino Female and some other nice stuff....I was PAID by the Insurance company for THAT ONE, TOO!! After they PAID ME....they CANCELLED MY INSURANCE for THEFT!!
The third was on Dec 16, 2001...which I had NO insurance for, but a POLICE REPOT WAS MADE!! They NEVER sent the detective out to interview me AT ALL!! The fourth time was a couple of days ago...I STILL HAVE NO INSURANCE for theft!! But, A POLICE REPORT was made of THAT ONE, TOO!
This could end up being my downfall...but, I like Dave...he's a good guy (once you get to know him), he's never done me wrong (that I can prove, anyway! lol)....Julie, on the other hand, is still quite young (22, 23, or 24)....she's got A LOT of growing up to do....but, given time...she WILL, or she'll end up with a stroke before she's 25! I, too, would LOVE to know why the cops are talking to her about MY CASE?? I AM going to call the TPD and find out!!
Well, that's my story, and I'm sticking with it!
