    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

its not weather neal is my buddy or not kevin, i have done alot of business with him and never had a problem-i also have never had a problem with you and have sold many animals to you as well as purchased some and traded for some-i always got good stuff from you and your animals always looked well taken care of-i just really was offended by the old jewish money comment as i too have been accused of coming from old jewish money, and it gets me very angry, as i started my entire business with a $4000 loan from a bank and ran it out of a 1 bedroom apartment-i busted my ass to get to where i am today, and none of my "old jewish money" got me there--i think my banks president was actually christian, so maybe it was "new christian money"-i do not think you are bad guy in the least--not one bit, as a matter of fact i always looked forward to going to your store on my route through tampa-but to add to this thread on a more relevant subject-plain and simple, did he rob his own store?-THAT IS THE REAL QUESTION-aside from all the other he said she said crap, that is what the real turn of this thread has become-character assasinations--i know most of the people involved-i am trying to not pick sides--Josie for example-she has alway been very nice-i have sold here animals and purchased animals from her-nice ones i might add-now back to the main purpose of this thread--DID NEIL GUBITZ ROB HIS OWN STORE-personally i do not think so, but i personally do not really care one way or the other, i have heard of people in this business doing way worse things than that. My store was broken into twice in one week last year-a rock thrown right threw the window-glass everywhere-exactly 7 days apart within 20 minutes or so-whammo the same thing happened-first time they stole 2 sick turtles-second time they stole approx $2500 worth of animals, needless to say i made an insurance claim--i have a $500 deductible which they charged me for twice(two incidents)--as well as  $250 glass break deductible which they cheerfully charged me for twice--i actually owed them money for the first claim!!!(they paid nothing-because of the deductible difference)-so yes i did get a fat check from them for the difference which was crap-did not even beging to cover my damages, not even what i pay for a years premium and to top it all off--they canceled my policy. Nice huh. I was completely shafted by my insurance company and they cancelled me to boot. I was 100% honest about what was stolen, but if i had to do it all over again, knowing how it all ended up, if i would have known those pieces of you know what would cancel my policy and not even cover my costs, would i have changed what was stolen?? placated my claim--lets just say it would have been very tempting, but in all honesty, if i could do it all over again, i would not have made a claim. It did me absoltuetly no good whatsoever and now i have to pay approx 40% more a year because of those two incidents. INSURANCE COMPANIES ARE PURE EVIL.  I have dealt with numerous companies and they are all scams one way or another. They automatically try to deny claims every chance they can--i can tell you horror stories about business insurance--auto insurance--home owners ins, and most of all health insurance. They are all crooked to the core. I lost many nights sleeps after my store was broken into----for months, and even to this day more than a year later, i still wake up in the middle of the night sometimes wondering if my store is ok--i no longer keep my albino nile on display nor anything else of excessive value. It sucks to be broken into-it is mentally, physically and finacially exhausting. I cannot think of the life of me, why neal would stage a break in, or anyone for that matter, especially more than once, and if you do it it better be for the big bucks as that is going to be your only chance-$2, $5, $10 thousand--better make it $50 thou to make it worth it, because you will be scrutinized for the rest of your life by insurance companies, and insurance companies are not stupid, they investigate fraudelent claims all the time and can spot them fairly easily. They do not become multi million dollar companies by paying away every claim-they catch and prosecute insurance fraud-Did neil placate his insurance claim--that i do not know--it is possible, yes-did he do it,only neil would know for sure. But they cancelled him as they do everybody who makes claims on a legitimate policy, i have another friend who has a herp shop in miami--same story as mine-CANCELLED!!broken into--CANCELLED--speeding ticket-CANCELLED-you have diabetes or hepatits or any other illness that is not cost conducive to your health policy-CANCELLED--i am sure that you can tell that i have an extreme hatred for insurance companies--except for Tim Hewitt state farm--he hooked me up on auto insurance-great deal on my policies-YOU DA MAN TIM!!!-until i get another speeding ticket or get in an accident, then i will probably be cursing him as well.  BUT PLEASE---PLEASE---THIS THREAD IS DESTROYING THE SIMPLE AND EFFECTIVE INTERGRITY OF THIS BOARD OF INQUIRY--IT HAS BECOME A CHARACTER SHOOTING GALLERY--ENOUGH IS ENOUGH---move on!!!--DAVE AND NEIL--you both have ruined your names on this board-just lay low and let it pass. Gentlemen, for the sake of the sanity of this board, lets not let it digress into a racial battle.  I understand that some inappropriate comments were made against Neil's choice of religion. The person that posted these comments lost all credibility when he posted this in my mind. Lets brush it off as ignorance and move onto the issue at heart.

I have to admit that Jay Gubitz's post was very enlightening.  I am beginning to believe that Neil can't be guilty without any motive.  Don't get me wrong, I think certain details he left out and some of his behvior was definitely questionable but why go to all this trouble?  This is hardly an Enron scandal.  I am very interested in seeing how this thing works out.  Something stinks to high heaven.

They have seen Neil call several people stupid. People who donated money to help him find who was breaking into his building. Customers of his. They are now stupid! why am i way off base kevin, and why in the world would i "go down with neil" as you put it. I stated my opinions. As unbiased as i can, i am not here slamming anyone else, just sharing my opionions about the situation. I have not said a bad word about anyone(except insurance companies). Do i think some things do not add up?-yes-somethings are not adding up. Do i think that neil robbed his own store,no-plain and simple.
