    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. All I am saying is according to what I have I have neither of you have any credibility. Sorry Neil but if my store was robbed I sure wouldn’t be forgetting things, the memory of that would stay fresh in my mind for a very long time. You raised some issues my way.  Here are my responses set out as carefully as I know how to provide them at this time:

1.  You said I should read your post.  It's true your post was put up as I was typing out mine that immediately followed.  You wrote several things, but none of it changes my OPINION.

2.  You said I should check with the TPD for myself.  Why?  I have never questioned whether your listing of the reports was accurate or not.  I wondered if there wasn't some cutting and pasting involved, but if you all say there was not, fine with me.  In fact, if you read my post accurrately, I even predicated the rest of my comments upon that list being completely legitimate.

3.  You said I should reassess my comments.  I have.

4.  You said I should appologize to Neil.  I will not.  My ONLY gripe with Neil has been that he has done EXACTLY what HE has condemned others for doing on this very BOI too many times to be counted!  I have no idea as to who is guilty of these break-ins.  I have no idea whether Dave or Neil is telling the truth in the vast majority of the facts involved.  I DID NOT take sides in any of this, and, in the main meat of the argument, I still have not.  However, I did have some very serious questions that I asked of Neil, and his basic response was "SO WHAT if I didn't do what I said I did?"

Now, Mr. Townes, it may very well be the case that Neil is completely pure as the wind driven snow, legally speaking.  It may also be the case that Dave is 100% guity of slander/libel.  However, in my OPINION Neil did himself a great disservice with his on again-off again police report concerning the 12/15-16/01 event at his store.  

If you had been reading the posts thoroughly throughout this mess, you would have seen that I was one of those who stuck up for Neil throughout, and I ONLY said anything against him when a) he first refused to explain himself regarding the reports, and b) when he did address it, his only real response was "SO WHAT?"  If you think I have been unfair to Neil in any way, I still have the emails from Neil in which he thanks me for seeing his side of things and tells me that I "have made a friend in Tampa."

Both you and Neil have blamed his problems expressing himself accurately on his memory.  Neil said he had the reports in his hand.  Neil then said that he did not make the report, but so what?  Now Neil says through you that the report is exactly what it always should have been.  OK, if you say so.  But in my OPINION, anyone with that bad of a memory problem isn't going to get my business ever.  Even so, it won't matter to Neil.  I've never sent him any business before that he would miss.  Then again, with a memory like that, it may be that he will have forgotten about this whole thing in a few weeks.

Note: Everything expressed within this posting is my opinion, and I stand by it.  I fully encourage all interested in forming their own opinion to do so by reading all of the posts in this thread and making up their own minds, taking my posts only as one voice among many of differing sides.  See for yourself and act accordingly.

Plain and simple Neil, leave it alone, gets facts, and when you have enough to come back and prove without a doubt the truth then do it. But dont repost in this thread or anything about it till you do, IMO its only destroying your credibility. Same as it is Dave's! There’s two sides to every story, and from what I see I dont think either of you are being completely honest. So take your lawyers advice and leave it alone till you can provide facts that no one can dispute, if you are innocent you will be able to do that.

legal notes:  this is my opinion. subject to credit aproval. other terms and considerations may apply. believe either side at your own risk.  When the PI suspects you...get a lawyer.  When you become a suspect turn your friend in.
 
Mr. Chappell, thank you for clearing some things up for me.  Your points have merit and I stand corrected.  I particularly agree that Neil has done himself a disservice by letting his feelings over-ride his rational side and shooting from the hip about things that have later been assigned greater significance than Neil expected.   People sometimes find themselves in emotional situations and need the assistance of a detached objective observer with some specialized experience, be it a medical doctor, rabbi, priest, guru or, heaven forfend, a lawyer.  Like Chico Marx said, "When-a you gotta you business troubles, you gotta getta you a lawyer.  Then you gotta more troubles, but at least-a you gotta you a lawyer."  Neil isn't going to hide behind me, but hopefully I can help him espress himself without compounding the confusion.

I would appreciate it if you would help me understand the meat of this situation? I look forward to your next post.

come one guys...We do not need to make fun of Mr. Townes chosen profession.
We do not need to start making fun of what people do for a living...it is not right.
I hate it when people make fun of me because I am in the military.
I am sure he hates it when the only thing he is doing is representing his clients interest.

Besides I have 2 lawyers and a judge in my family.....
 
Well, guess what ?? Something good is FINALLY coming out of all this crap. Tom.C AGREED with Jason !!!!!! Ive seen these guys go at it for awhile now !!!! I think the olive branch, in some sort of way, has been offered. Come on Jason, TAKE IT. Everyone can agree to disagree !! Lets bury that hatchet. As far as THIS thread goes, there seems MUCH more to this and Im not going to judge JUST yet. But, Im getting a sick feeling about it as of now.

I'm pretty sure it was Ollie North and Admiral Poindexter who could not recall what they did when "testifying" before the Iran-Contra investigation committee, not the president.  However, when he did have trouble with his memory at other times, at least he had the excuses of being well into his seventies and having the onset of alzheimers with which to contend!

Most decidedly NOT laughing (out loud or otherwise) about this whole mess--

I would like to thank you all for your interest in playing this part. However, that part has been taken. As of today, I have been given the honor of assuming the role 0f @ssh0!e. Although, there is a position available as an understudy. Please post qualifications accordingly.
