    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Personally, I think Rich needs to put a stop to this whole thread.  I firmly want a resolution to this matter for all parties involved sakes, but it has now turned into a Mud slinging contest with everyone. I get a freakin` MIGRAIN from reading this thread.  I see people on here at each others throats when they should all just keep their mouth's shut.  They would not be at each others throat exept for their own reasons on wanting to be involved with Neil & Dave's flame war.  I personally know both of them and will not comment on either of them wether for good or bad. IT IS TIME TO END THE POSTING ON THIS THREAD!!! Keep what has been posted on here for reveiw but NO MORE POST ON THIS SUBJECT!!!! Damn people its like you have nothing better to do with your time.

OK i hafta agree unless one of the other parties involved or a outside 3rd party can substantiate(sp) any claims made i think ALL of us including me after i post should leave this beast alone long enough for what ever overwhelming PROOF there is out there that says
A: if it was dave PROVE IT.. show proof that is what we want
B: If it was Neil PROVE IT..Show proof thats what we want
C: If it was the MAILMAN PROVEIT.. hey all,

just wanted to clear somethings that i have read here that happened to involve my name in it.

i sold Neil a snake in which i provided all documentations in order for Neil to know exactly who the snake came from and also for the buyer to have Proof of his purchase and could later verify the animal with the breeder. its not possible that i could have lied about anything i sent the proof! for your information trooper since you seem to be the main one concerned with this the picture of the parents is copied onto the documentations as i sent it just the way Tim sent it to me so again there is no way i could have lied.

i dont understand what is this life mission people have to discredit me especially with people that have never done business with me and to even call me a liar when i dont know you.
the problem i have with trooper or should i say the problem that trooper has with me is that i wrote a private email to someone in which they never sent to anyone else but instead someone broke into his email account(hmmm..) and then passed the email around and it was later posted on a public forum which in my right is a violation opf my privacy since i did not give permission for this to be public.
well anyways i asked for all who i mentioned to forgive me and they all did no problems with anyone else except with trooper which i dont understand.

trooper when you read this i want you to know that i am sorry cause i guess you were deeply hurt or something since your holding on to something that was meaning less for so long.

i apologies right here to you and i pray that one day you can forgive me and end this life mission of discrediting me and involving me in every discussion that has nothing to do with me.

Tim Morris should regognize the animal very well as i sent him a updated pic of the animal every week.

Dave, I am not sure who's right in this case but I do have one little piece of advice.  You posted what details you had and your opinions on this matter.  I would let them stand. I realize you take offense to being accused of something and want to clear up your name.  However, your post today was pretty childish and does absolutely nothing to preserve your reputation.  If I were either of you two gentlemen, I would use every ounce of self control to present my case based on facts, not emotions.

I was thinking as I read the last 10 pages to get caught up...to be the devil's advocate for a minute...what if we are all barking up the wrong tree?  If so, there is a third party out there laughing his a$$ off!!

Just wanted to know why you didn't pay Mr. Crowley the balance due when James Thornton never paid him in full? If it was my store that had been robbed several times and I knew a PI had information about it, I would want that information. So why did you not do anything about it and then let Rich Z. pay Crowley instead for the balance due? You're always offering to help out other people when they are in need so it doesn't sound like you are strapped for cash. But this time you were in need so why didn't you help yourself out?

And to correct you from one of your statements, I believe James Thornton hired the PI...not Rich Z. I'm not accusing you of anything here Neil. I felt this was a question that had not been asked yet so I thought I'd go ahead and ask it.

When I found out what Tom had put in that report (that's IF a report was EVER made??)...I wouldn't give him the right time of day, let alone $700!! And...I never asked Rich to pay him off, either...that was all up to him....another thing...I could be wrong, but, I do think that it was Rich that hired Tom...

James Thornton approached me about doing a donation drive for Neil after the December, 01 burglary.  The idea he proposed was to collect money from all willing participants, and then forward this sum onto Neil.  I declined, and instead suggested that any money collected should be utilized to hire a PI to track down the perpetrator of the crime and bring him/her to justice.  This would have been a strong message to other people to refrain from such actions in the future, as such an action could be directed their way as well.

But things didn't work out that way, apparently.

In any event, James did all the footwork to track down a PI to hire.  He told me he contacted three people and Tom Crowley was the better of the three.  I have no idea where or how he came up with those names.  There supposedly was a contract signed, that was signed by James, and not by me.  I left this completely up to James, as he was handling all of the money aspects of the site.

The question should arise in Crowley's mind that since I did act in an informal partnership with James Thornton, and he did accept my check as final payment and closure for that original investigation, then I should have a legally defensible right to the results of that investigation.  Otherwise he should not have been able to accept my money for that purpose.

So there possibly is an ethical breach that might be in question here on the part of Tom Crowley.

For you to find out what was in the report the report must exist. Was the information contained in the report not your liking due to the conclusion drawin in it or because the lack of substanence (sp?) in the report?

The report was good enough for a lot of members of this board to pay for but not good enough for Neil to pay for. I did not donate to the fund. I got involved in the online world of herps (before I just collected them for fun <img src="http://www.faunaclassifieds.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':)'> ) late last year and found this BOI in Feb of this year. I was immediately impressed that a number of people had stepped up to the plate to help another member of a community out, something I had not seen in any other online forum for the herp world (or any other hobby/profession for that matter). If I was a donating party I would be screaming foul right about now!

SideNote:  I have to say Rich stepping up to handle the fallout for his misjudgement of person SCREAMS honesty and ethical behavior.
