    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

The only concern I have with TheJungleFlorida is that they are selling supposed 100% super dwarf retics that are also 100% het for amelanism. Any other retic breeders/sellers can tell you that a 100% super dwarf retic that is 100% het for amelanism is not out there. The highest amount of super dwarf % I have seen out in the retic market was an 87.5% super dwarf lavender albino. The only true 100% super dwarves out there are pure super dwarves and the only naturally occurring morph among super dwarves is the anery gene. Any other gene either comes from the mainland retic genes or the Jampea dwarf genes and other local dwarves. So the 100% super dwarf retics that are 100% het for amelanism are actually not 100% super dwarf. They are most likely 50%. The standard among the trade is that if it is listed as super dwarf then it is assumed the retic is 50% super dwarf unless otherwise stated in the for sale ad. I myself have three super dwarf retics ranging from 37.5% SD - 75% SD. Also there are only a couple of people I know of that have pure SD retics and only know one that you can contact for pure SD retics and that is Ryan Parker of Parker Pythons. I know a lady that has high % SD retics and her name is Shannon Roepke. You can find both of them on FaceBook. Personally I would not purchase the supposed 100% super dwarf retics that are 100% het amel from TheJungleFlorida because they are not 100% super dwarf. He also used the excuse that they were captive bred and that's why they 100% super dwarf 100% het for amelanism. It makes no difference if they are captive bred or not. If a 100% pure super dwarf is bred to a mainland or a dwarf then you would have 50% SD/50% mainland or 50%SD/50%Dwarf. If you don't care if they are and are only looking at purchasing them as a pet then that's on you, but if you ever plan on breeding them or if you purchase it and then have to sell it because of some unknown reason then it is best to know the percentage of SD.
 
What I would have done is sent your entire descriptive post to JungleFlorida. The litmus would have been their response. If they were interested in your explanation, if they had said they would take another look at the genetics and agreed with you and changed their description (if the info actually warrants that), that would be different than if they blew you off.
It's how a party handles a situation that is important.

I have a 50% super dwarf female that's 5 years old and 7 feet, and I feed her pretty aggressively. I'm sure it was just a misunderstanding. It's not right to misrepresent animals but I can't imagine it was intentional.
 
I'm not accusing the guy/lady of intentionally trying to sell them that way. I just want them to understand why they couldn't be 100% SD and 100% het amel. I just want them informed so they can provide accurate info. I tried informing them once and they just blew it off because their supplier is trustworthy.
 
I've noticed quite a few things where they are just ignorant of what they have, and they don't like being corrected. They had some "dodoma" locality sand boas for sale that were "het albino". I tried to explain that if they are het albino then they aren't pure dodomas. They don't even grasp the concept. He deleted my comment after he got an attitude about it.
Another time they had a candoia tasmai advertised as a candoia paulsoni (which sell for more) and again, I tried correcting them and they refused to correct it.
They flip a lot of animals and just go with whatever they are told. I wouldn't rely on their 2nd hand knowledge of what they have.
 
We spoke to the person that we got the animal from. This snake was produced by NERD, if you would like to question the genetics and tell NERD that they are wrong then please feel free. Instead of repeatedly commenting on this and making a huge deal please call and talk to us about this in person. Call in to the store and speak with the owner, Jay. He will gladly talk to you about the animal. Our number is 954 427 2938.
 
Albino morph has not yet been found in super dwarf localities (as you've been told). There is no way it can be 100% super dwarf AND het albino. It can be a very high percentage super dwarf (90 something%) but not 100% SD.
