In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

If she's healthy, I'll refund your purchase. If she's not, I won't.

She is as healthy as she would have been in your care as she is in mine. She is generally unhealthy due to issues that were outside of my control, that are either inherited or that she got from your facility.

The vet is going to OK the ship because that is what he wants for me and the snake. Reguardless your going to give your address to paypal and we will do the refund though them.

You never answered the "How old are you?" question? I only ask because someone made a comment earlier saying "This is why I do not sell to minors."

FALSE, this is your fault and happened in your care. If the snake was sick it would of showed signs upon unboxing.

This is how some ship snakes not knowing they had RI as they showed no signs in their care until shipping. The shipping causes a lot of stress and brings all kinds of sickness to the surface FAST.

1. As for inherited, I'd like to see a written response from the vet of how mom, dad, brother, and a dozen or so cousins are thriving.

2. I have sold close to 50 snakes this year. Why don't you search the BOI, using my username, for other issues that turned up.

This poor, poor snake, in the buyer's collection.

I feel so bad for this precious creature.

This is a great example of the sad reality that not everyone in this world should be allowed to have pets.
We appear to be in an age of our hobby, where learning and knowing about the animals we love, has taken a step back, and being replaced by buying animals first, and learning about them, second.
I just want this poor animal out of the buyer's residence, and into someone's grasp who can care for this precious animal. I hope it can be sent back to Rob, so he can take care of this poor animal. Rob has shown himself to be sound and professional, in this thread.

It will be interesting to see how this unfolds.

Excuse me for a sec, as I didn't see my cat drink enough water today, so I need to go force some water in its' mouth.

:ack2:

The issues that were in your control, among others, are:
Not having heat her first night
Temping her at 100 and saying nothing
Allowing a rack to get to 110
Waiting 6 days to tell me you were happy
Force-feeding water the day after she ate a meal ON HER OWN
Not asking the vet questions or having results, yet making claims

I'll take my chances in court, thanks. Unless the doctor says she's okay, then I'll take her back (how many times.....)

"Hi, Doc...I've had this snake 18 days. She was fine, and ate, on Saturday. Then she was like this. What do you think?"

Oh yeah...he has no time for that.

Don't believe your lies. Thats why you are a bad guy on the BOI. Your a scam artist when things go bad. She was temped at 110 when I got her. Her rack is on a herpstat2 never got above 88. Force feeding water is ok if it's necessary the do it all the time at the vet. The vet results will be in tomorrow. She always had heat it was just off and on. But I know you know, that that would not cause this. Your just trying to scam me at this point.

I think you're a bit overly optimistic regarding just how honest he's been with the vet. Had he had access to all of the information in this thread, it'd blow my mind to find out that an actual, licensed DVM would have made the statements that Thomas has ascribed to him. I think that either the vet never made those statements, or that he simply made a cursory examination and based his findings on a whole lot of self-serving fiction that Thomas likely fed him.

I think he made it when he saw the snake doing what it did in the video. Moron. Your an idiot. Why doing you watch the video. Are you fn blind? Gezes.

What results? You said they did not do any tests as they felt they were unnecessary. I ad a little sympathy for you at first, possibly you never dealt with a spider gene. Maybe this is your first issue in your short career of keeping snakes. You can easily overreact, but now, I'm losing that sympathy because your story is just getting too hard to follow
