In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I completely understand what you are saying. It is only being a smart consumer to protect yourself. And I know this thread is a perfect example of "you cant be careful enough".

I too have a lot of under $100 transactions myself and find paypal invaluable for that. But to be perfectly honest I also do not use paypal for purchases over $1000. So I see your point completely.

What are the odds that someone recognizes those two snakes as Hets that were sold to them by Chris. That for sure would end all the speculation. Time to go take a look at your snakes and see if the pictures match up.

Does anyone recognize the two CH ball pythons in the picture? Why in the world a person breeding heterozygous for expensive morphs buy two normal, nice looking CH male ball pythons? Two fill an order? What kind of an order? This smells more and more like CMG's and CRE's business deals.

I know Chris used to list CH on his site all the time for sale, so lets hope it was a CH order that he filled with those two snakes.

Someone mentioned this before , I have thought this for a whole and the more I read the more I believe there are no TSE employees, these are a few quotes from the above emails and they are Chris's words and besides who refers to their boss as "Our Owner" these guys slaves or something;)
"you may now wait to deal with our owner upon his return;"
and again "We did not anticipate such problems in our owners absence " if you look back at other messages that were posted here you'll see them say the Our Owner thing a number of times. The employees/slaves live in Chris's head.
As well as this Quote from the above emails,,gee didn't Chris say this a few times in his post ""I apologize that you have come to some ill assumptions""

I can't really blame any breeder who sold snakes to Chris for not stepping up here. Would be open season and though they did nothing wrong it is unlikely to help them any by doing so.I like everyone else here wish they would step up BUT..... Randy

Is there any chance he bought 2 ch balls for 215.00 and would be able to sell them to someone else for more then that to make a profit??

Sammy, let me also provide some other observations where discretion becomes important. Pay by a postal money order as the best method. If your already going to use your credit card money to cover paypal, your better off in taking out the cash, going to the post office , getting a money order. If the funds are cashed (not deposited) and you recieve nothing in return, its postal fraud. Your chances of pursuing that criminally are substantially greater than going through the nonsense that paypal would put you through before they decline your claim. Secondly, if you read where I say (cashed) up above, it also opens up additional liabliity for the one who cashed the money, and avoided paying taxes as income. This would also bring additional leverage in pursuing these culprits and thieves. That is the approach I would take with TSE and Chris. If you are going to loose the money anyway, at least keep the door open for some kind of formidable response on your part.

Steve

I dont understand your post..... So just to clear up any potential misunderstandings.....

I was meaning I hope whoever Chris sold the snakes to were buying CH snakes, and not hets.

I'm not sure I understand what any individual or business who sold Chris @ TSE any visual morphs would have to lose in reputation. Anyone think of any reason?
Those are the people I would like to see post. For Chris to have EVER been telling the truth, he would need to have purchased some high end animals, and nobody has come forward yet saying they sold or traded any visual morphs to TSE.
While the fact that some still believe he had integrity a couple years ago gives me some hope, the lack of evidence pointing in that direction is pretty discouraging.

I was simply showing he paid me $220.00 for those two CH males. I hope he sold them as CH also.

I am just amazed at all of this! I considered Chris a friend and we had several deals back and forth, white lips, leos and some female balls that were about 2 years old. I had to return the balls as they were not CBB like they were supposed to be. They had some lovely mites which I treated and sent back for a refund which came promptly. Just amazing, you spend hours over a period of a few months in the fauna chat room and you think you "kinda" know someone.. Just amazing!! If your not sick Chris(and I hope you are not) stop lying to these people!! People WORK for their money and it is not your to steal.. I hate a thief more than anything in the world!!

Steve

Thank you,

I was worried that you may have thought I meant that I hope you sold them as CH.... just wanted to make sure we were on the same page. Sometimes it is too easy to misunderstand what people are saying over the net. Thanks again!!

I am not sure of the relevance to this thread. However I vaguely remember about ten months ago being in the chat room here on Fauna. Chris was present as were a few others. Chris was talking about a fire in his ball python room. Caused by some faulty heat tape I believe. He was devastated, said to have lost tens of thousands of dollars worth of animals. Maybe even hundreds of thousands. Anyone else present when this chat took place or maybe heard of this incident? At that time I remember him saying that he and his "partners" or "investors" could be ruined. He was also trying pretty hard at the time to set himself up to just do leopard geckos. Said that the fire might just be the thing that forced him to make that move.

I have discussed this with at least one other member who remembers similar accounts. I am also waiting to hear from a few others who may have been present. I thought that this info should be out there as well. I'm not looking to spin some wild conspiracy theory out of this, just wanted to make the info available.

I remember something like that.

I remember last year a TSE ad on KS were Chis said that he was selling some high-end morph balls because his plans had been messed up with them due to a huge loss in eggs and he needed the money.

2 CH males for $215? What is that about? I doubt there would be a profit made on that.

Probably not but in fairness he may have needed them to complete an order or as a replacement and making a profit wasn't the reason for the purchase.

Unless they were being sold as hets...

But I am not one to just go and make assumptions(that seems to be a trendy word in this thread). So I will not finish that thought.

I agree with Jamie, it is VERY hard to sell two baby females for $100, not to mention two CH males for $100 each. Sell at a loss? Mmmhhh? Let's hope someone recognizes those two babies as his/hers.

Yeah but the problem is that they are selling CB baby ball pythons for 55.00 each, so he had to loose atleast 105.00 right off the bat if he were reselling them as CH or CB. Not too many people (some will) will take that kind of a hit to make a sale unless there was enough profit in whatever else was being sold in the deal. Which i hope is the case here.
