Certainly it has had its tangents and mild flare-ups, but what is a "vote to give it a break?" I would hope that this implies nothing except that you may be choosing not to post for some specified amount of time, although I have nothing but high regard for your posts. I would hope that this thread gets yanked to the top once daily until there's some resolution, or the legal avenues have been adequately exhausted. The hope would be for something worth reading, an update, etc., but let the poster decide the merit of the effort. As new folks view this website on a daily basis, most of us would agree that TSE is deserving of all possible warning signals. The BOI is not exactly the FBI's top ten, but it will have to suffice for now. It would be a safe bet that Chris is trying to re-invent a means of income, and will likely be looking for an "easy money" route via the internet again. Unfortunately, he likely still has a few cohorts that would assist him in this effort.

I am most definitely not trying to minimize the situation. My point is that the thread has now devolved into dozens of pages of speculation on other topics than the very real problem which prompted this threads creation. Please correct me if i am wrong but my understanding from following this thread since inception is that
1.) TSE has been taking orders since last fall and not shipping the animals out "due to weather conditions" (crock).
2.) It has now become known that a large number of individuals are waiting on these orders.
3.) TSE has offerred various additional excuses including the FedEx Maximum package crap that do not hold water.
4.) the Thread originator finally received his animals in poor shape and is now planning on returning them (justifiably so)
5.) TSE does not have the financial ability to issue the justly deserved refunds on their delinquent orders.
Unless i am missing something, this is the gist of what this thread was created about. These are very serious issues that should and, undoubtedly have, ruined TSE and Chris Johnson's reputation permanently(again, justifiably so)
My point in suggesting a slow down in the rehashing and non-material posts is two fold.
1.) the entire issue of the possibility of "fake" hets is 100% meaningless until it is proven. The only way to prove it is to verify some hatchings. It sounds like that is on the horizon. At that point, the issue becomes worthy of discussion. the last 50 pages of this thread have dealt predominately with this non-issue. It detracts from the original point of the thread and, again is meaningless till several clutches are either proven out or proven as fakes.
2.) When a thread is started for the very real and important resons this one was, burying the vital info on this many pages of non material discussion tends to limit the effectiveness. My personal feeling is that pretty much no one researching TSE on this board would take the several hours necessary to read through this thread.
I should have been more specific in my original post. I strongly sympathize with all who have been taken by TSE. My thought though is that this thread would serve it's intended purpose far better if a synopsis of the facts of the situation were placed on the last page and updated as info become available. It can be kept on the front page with a simple "bump" every couple of days. To bury the facts of the situation in more baseless speculation only serves to cloud the issue. I personally think that the whole "fake het" issue should have been left to another thread entirely. For the purpose of this very important thread the "het" issue should have been treated as "off topic.
Just my humble opinion.
