Like so many things, he who makes the most noise gets the attention, or as they say "the squeaky wheel gets the oil". I have not written down the important links for internet crime, etc, and wish I had, although I have no claim against Chris. If any of you more astute posters have been keeping up with such, might I recommend just re-posting them every 30-40 posts, or putting up a prior post # where they may be listed, so as to make it as easy as possible for those with claims to get it done. With all the law-enforcement agencies, there is a threshold where things get more attention. And it just might get a look by an agent or officer, etc, whose child has a pet ball python, and they take are real interest in it. Striving to get over that threshold is key. If Chris had been honest and forthright in his business dealings, to include his business failure, then this thread may have properly died long ago. But he wasn't, and as such, I feel that whatever effort it takes to go a little further in search of fuel to keep the fire burning is a worthy endeavor. If this thread is active beyond 3000 posts and the 4th of July, it works for me.

I hope that you who filled out your http://www.ic3.gov/ complaint are keeping it updated with any new information that you might come across. I had to go and update my information on the address, the phone number, and about the ex-girlfriend. They do ask you for any additional information that might be useful. I would love to know where Chris actually lives or works, even a phone number would be good!!! I would very much like to do a background check on Chris but I do not have enough information and the information I do have is too weak and questionable. I have found that the FBI Internet Fraud Department works a lot smoother and faster if you have done most of the work for them. However, if the only address we have is an ex-girlfriends, and the apartment is in her name, then it will be kind of hard for the sheriff's depart to go out there to do an interview with Chris. The girlfriend is usually not reliable with information if she still has feelings for the thief. I have found that usually people who cut and run end up at their parents house, girlfriends home, or even a old ex-girlfriends home, to hide out and live there while they get their life back in order. Has anyone else called this ex-girlfriend of Chris'? Sometimes an ex can be a very good source of information especially if they think it will get help with any leftover scorn feelings they might have. You know, if only one of us were to go to small claims court and Chris were to appear we would be able to find out all that we need to know about Chris. He wouldn't be about to hide any address, phone numbers, or business information then.

Another place you can go to is http://www.fbi.gov/cyberinvest/cyberhome.htm and find your local FBI office there. There should be an address, phone number, and a local website for your local FBI office. I haven't tried them so I don't know what they can do and they might just redirect any of us back to http://www.ic3.gov/ and fill out the form.

You usually will not hear from the FBI until they actually have something. When I used them, a little over a year ago, in about a months time they contacted me to tell me that apparently my thief had moved out of his house - so say the local sheriff's department that went out to do the investigation wrok for the FBI. However, I knew where the thief was living thanks to being able to find his parents information by doing a little background check on the thief. His parents were very upset and embarrassed with their son and I ended up getting my money back so no small claims court me.

about a DBA resides in his bank account. What bank , where its located and under what name the account is in.

The DBA I for Top Shelf Exotics can be found was listed at the Erie County Clerks Office. I printed a copy of it. TSE is registered to Christopher Johnson. The address for TSE and his residence are both listed as the French Road Address #6, which I believe to be his girlfriend/ex-girlfriends address. I have been told that Chris lives in the same building but it is actually French Road #2.

I us to be a collection agent here in the state State of Texas , and one thing you want to watch out is suites for harrassement. If you give him enough ammunition he can easily make that 1500-1600 whatever he owes you dissapear and you'll end up oweing him far more. Wouldn't that be ironic if you end up paying off his debt!!! Not to mention legal problems and Texas will roast you dearly for harrassment in collecting a debt. Wether he frauded you or not it does not give you the right to break the law. I would lay off ( if you havn't shot yourself in the foot already).

That was painful to read. I R A In jun ear, not a debt collector, but I can read, and spell and you failed to include in your "except" the most important point. A debt collector is defined as anyone who is acting as an agent for the original creditor. Even an attorney acting in this capacity is entitled to no more leeway than that which is defined in the mentioned act. My point being, that I as the original creditor, am not bound by the same constraints. I would think that you who "us" to be in that business would know that. So "wether" he "frauded" me or not, I didn't break this law, So I think you should take your well written advise and lay off (at least until you can figure out how to use the spell checker). If you feel the need to shoot yourself in the foot again, my advise to you would be "Aim Higher".

I really don't see why you are attacking all the people in this thread that have nothing but good intentions. You are acting JUST LIKE CHRIS right now. You may not agree with these people, but they aint attacking you or trying to belittle you.... just trying to be helpful.

I am no expert but maybe you need to take a step back and have a cold brew or two and keep your anger focused on the right person.

I especially am greatful to those who stepped up with donations to the Fraud Fund and Auctions. I will never forget that kindness. But I won't defend or apologize for my conduct. How can Justin even begin to think he can give me advice, he can't even use a spell checker, or include the most important fact in his attachment. And then goes on to tell me I may have already "Shot myself in the foot". so I can do without his advice, and until you can provide supporting evidence that I am now a thief and a liar, please don't even begin to compare me to Chris. I just reread Justin's post and I still take it the same way, sorry I just don't see that he was offering any valid advice other than him trying to pretend he was an expert on debt collections. And I don't think that I have been out of line with everyone else. As I have said ad nauseum to all those that seem to think that the best way to deal with Chris is to kill him with kindness, send him $1500 that you will never see again, that will put us on a level playing field, and then and only then can we debate my tactics. As I said yesterday, somebody tell me what they want me to do with this money and I will oblige and step aside. Unlike Chris I don't have some deep seated delusional desire to prove myself superior. I'm not looking for an audience, nor approval. After 50 years I can't change who I am, nor do I want too. Bob is aggravated with Chris, I might add with due cause. I can understand him being upset. He was venting his anger towards Chris in his emails. But Bob, I don't think he is at all concerned anymore with any emails. He has dug a real deep hole for himself. I don't think he will ever get close to the daylight again. It is best if we all ban together and this way there is strength in numbers. If we start fighting now, it will profit nothing but hard feelings. JMHO.

I think we will all see this come together if we are patent a little longer. This is going to take a little time, but it will all work out if we keep working together.

While waiting, it would be of no benefit to anyone, start warring factions within this thread. I know that waiting is frustrating, but there is no way to make the various processes much faster.

Bob you have no ideal what your talking about..harassment is harassment PERIOD..Just because you got ripped doesn't give you the right to collect via "all means necessary".Most of the guidelines I pasted are common sense and DO APPLY TO YOU. If some tells you to stop sending VULGAR or INSULTING emails..calls.. etc...and you don't ...that's harassment and against the law.

Yep! She laid them in a tight ball, so not all are really accessible, but I've done what I can without "pestering" them too much.
My latest candling was a couple days ago, and there is discernable movement in a couple, and embryos and good vein structure in all!!!
Here's to healthy, feeding babies!
