    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Cat, I believe if the gentleman or lady contacts the Admin of the site and explains the story, they can have it pulled And I'm glad Rich opened up the BOI to everybody I foresee alot more people popping up and that is a good thing ....

I did speak with the guy through PM, and suggested he do so. I no longer see the listing, I'm not sure if it ended or if he got it pulled. He seemed genuinely upset, I think he truly did not know.

Did anyone notice, there is also an ad right here in the Fauna classifieds for some hets from TSE??? I have tried contacting the seller, but have received no response up to this time....

I am the one who had the het pied on reptileauction. I had no idea what was going on with TSE, I had actually saturday morning I put a deposit down on 2 TSE hets that were being sold on fauna classified, sunday morning I had a question on my het pied auction about them producing normals so I came here and found this thread. I just wanted to let everyone know that i am not selling the snake in the auction and I wasnt tring to pass the scam onto others.

I had originally bought 1 male het pied and a pair of het albinos and a poss het albino female from TSE. I think it was $1050.

I purchased my snakes around 11/05. Around 2/06 i asked for a refund for the ridiculous wait for shipping and was refused my refund because of their TOS bull. 4/06 I received an email regarding shipping happening in order of when they received sales. 05/06 I started to worry and started trying to contact TSE over and over with no reply, called their phone. The phone was disconnected at the point when I called. My join date is when i started looking for anyone who had had the same problem with TSE as me, and now here I am. I can post all the email confrontation I had with TSE if anyone thinks it will help. He was amazingly rude through out the experience. Now that i can post here I really want to stay involved and help anyway I can.

Jackson - Your story

Sounds just like the rest of ours. In my story though Chris and Glenn were polite in the emails, even when confronted about Chris's supposed illness. They were to nice actually. I was so shocked of how upset Glenn had become when I asked about Chris's illness and the allegations on KS that were being posted. He asked for the link to the threads so that he could defend Chris and TSE but not one message was ever posted and then the thread(s) were deleted.

Did you get that story when you requested your refund?
 
I got an email back from the parties who have the ad posted here on Fauna, and they seem to have known nothing about this whole mess.....and they are the ones who took the down payment from Jason. I filled them in as best I could, and recommended they come to the BOI as well to try to sort through this. I'm thinking they will be willing to work things out with you Jason, just from the tone I got from their email.

I have to say..........I am very impressed with the response I've seen from those who were unknowingly offering for sale what could be fake hets. I was expecting to get yelled at, but both parties so far have been great, stand-up folks about it. I wouldn't balm,e them one bit for being mighty ticked off, but at least they are aiming it in the right direction.

Jackson, at this point I think posting the emails would be a moot point, as we've all seen them, and how rude, nasty, and full of BS they are. Be sure you save them for the court case, however. One more nail in the coffin.

Don't thank me...when I first saw your auction I wanted to jump through the monitor and rip you a new one. :bluegrab:

I think the real thanks goes to you. Some would just ignore the questions and go through with the sale...you did not. I think that's a big step in showing what kind a person you are. Like the rest of us you took the hit, stood up and now ready for the fight. So, to you, again I say Thank You!

I also want to thank Cat. You took the info I had and ran with it. Looks like with your help additional heartbreak has been avoided, though I'm sure the info made the current ball owners down right sick. Thanks Cat!

Ok, some info/understanding of the "parent directory" you see when opening up the website. the reason this happens is because someone either deletes or renames their homepage (usually index.htm or .html), and you see the basic structure behind the website. some very interesting things come to view when doing some "click and hunt" type of work.

1. none of the pictures in the "images" OR the "photos" folders are dated after 1/31/06. which means unless chris is storing photos elsewhere, any pics on his site (even the most recent version) are from that date or before.
2. the "photo gallery" folder is nothing but a link to the TSE photo gallery posted here on fauna back from 2005, no recent pictures (that i could find) exist their either.
3. there is no mention of an index (home) page anywhere in his directory. this means it was pulled completely from the web server for whatever reason.
4. in none of the text files could i find any reference to chris' address, phone number, location or even an ip address. he has apparently been using an FTP client to upload his website to a server though from the looks of the /_private/_vti_cnf/index.htm.cnt directory. if anyone wants/needs to know more about that, let me know.
5. he has a rather funny video of some guy named "ralph" slipping and falling into a river for what looks to be a herping trip maybe?
6. his reference to the "top pages" for fauna is coming up bad - which means he has deleted that page from his website structure also.

those are just a few things i thought i would point out (from a web designer/consultant point of view). i have not dealt with chris or TSE in the past, but the technical aspect of the entire thing is now showing some serious suspicions about what he is doing. again, if anyone would like further clarification on anything ive said, please let me know. although i would do it quickly because that will probably come down too as he pulls files...
 
It had been mentioned before, but previously the case was not that the site was taken down, but that I think people were typing in "topshelfexotics.com" (there's no s)

Interesting though, there's a few pics of a young albino ball, but the only mention (within the filenames) of anything pied were "poss het pieds."
 
I am wondering

if someone can contact the officer handling the Top Shelf case and provide an update on whats been happening. I would also like to know what has happend with the attorney who is handling the civil matter.
