In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Just another quick suggestion....perhaps it would be a good idea to set up a single email address to field all of the email associated with this? A quick Yahoo address or something, with Derek and I both having the password to use it? Just thinking it may be easier to keep any correspondance organized that way.

Any thoughts on this?

Yes, that would be a great idea.

I know my personal e-mail could use a rest. :)

Well, let's figure out a name for the forum itself, and we can use something similar for the email address. I'm no good at naming anything (I have a female Ball Python named Larry, lmao), but may I suggest something along the lines of "TSE Victims Reparation Project"?

This could be fun!

1) Death to Chris at TSE.

2) Bubba Needs a Buddy Fund.

3) Larry needs a friend fund (just a joke) !

C'mon ! If we drink enough, I'm sure someone will think of a good one ! In all seriousness, the earlier suggestions sounded fine. Again, all truly involved in this (I am not included) deserve a round of applause. Chris has felt heat, and hopefully will feel more, and its because of a bunch of folks here who carried the torch ....... Cat, Derek, Bob, Bobby, Chris A. etc etc. ...... those I left out, forgive me ... Alzheimers is a bitch .......:IThankYou

"TSE victims project" rolls off the tongue nicely. Or TSE victims board or TSE victims committee. Yeah, I like the committee 1. -Chris

Please bear in mind that I will not allow the forum to be named in such a way that it could possibly be a legal liability for this site. Please bear this in mind.

Shelly,
Wouldn't it be more appropriate to only include the people who donated the animals and items rather than the people who bought them? I won an auction(as you may already know) but I don't feel that entitles me to a vote. I won the auction because I wanted what was up for auction(although I haven't even watched it yet).
This is probably true for everybody that bid, but my concern was that somebody might have bought items they might not have previously considered buying specifically to see Chris prosecuted. I would hate to see an argument start if a buyer felt the auction funds were being used for a purpose other than the intent of the auction. Probably everybody will come to an agreement, but if somebody isn't given the option to have some input as to the final decision they might get a little ticked.

Does someone have a list of who these people are? If not how do you suggest we round them up or verify that they contributed? Can the auctions still be viewed?
Maybe the auction has an archive section. Also, those of us who shipped won items probably still have the contact information for the winning bidders.

I haven't been keeping up too closely with this thread, although I did read the last 70-80 posts. I had donated funds back on May 12th for hiring an attorney since at that time it seemed like that was the route this whole thing was taking. Anyhow, if those funds are not going to be used for said legal expenses, I do feel that it would be appropriate for each contributor to have a choice in what comes of those funds. I just thought I'd throw that in there since I had not been contacted.

Thanks, and good luck, folks. :)

Paul, Of course that is what going to be done,Lets say some of the people want their share back well then I reckon they will be getting it back. :)

Paul, I know this thread has been flying along for the last couple of days, but that was discussed and of course all contributors will be contacted, once we get everything rolling. No one has been contacted yet.

I can send an email to Bob England right away, and see if he wants to contact all of those who donated through Paypal, or if he would like to pass this along to someone else. I will also email Zach and see what information he has as far as those who donated items for auctions, and those who bid on them.

I would imagine that we should probably hold off on anything else until we have all of the original contributors contacted, and see where we stand on funds. As soon as I hear something from Bob, we'll see where we are at.

The people who bought items received a product and therefore got 'something for their money' . . . I'd be more concerned about the people who donated items and/or money being in agreement. They are the ones that made a real sacrifice/donation in wanting to help see Chris of TSE prosecuted.

No word back from Bob yet. I did get a message back from Zach, and he thinks Bob has a list of all of the auction contributors too. Hopefully I will get a response from him soon.

Brent, we ALL want to see Chris prosecuted, but the civil case at this point is pretty much out of our reach. We all need to keep our fingers crossed that Detective Brown and the NY authorities will stay up to bat for us and get things done, for our sake, and before he scams someone again.

How did my post insinuate otherwise?

I was under the impression from the previous posts that y'all are planning a "secret club TSE informational breeding project what do we do?" forum that only certain people are going to have access to. Am I wrong in that impression. Is this new forum going to be accessible to ALL of us that want to see Chris prosecuted or just to a select few that are 'worthy'? (I don't care one way or another . . . the benefit is it would keep Chris of TSE from reading some of the stuff posted here. On the other hand, I'm nosey enough I'd like to be kept 'in the loop' as well. :) )

It sounded to me like it was only going to be accessible to only a select few that are 'worthy'. The post I quoted indicated that people who bought stuff through the auctions should have a right to be in the 'secret club'. I merely indicated that those individuals received a product for their contribution and didn't deserve the same 'right' as someone that donated (made an actual sacrifice) items for the auctions.

I guess if the new forum isn't going to be a 'super secret society' then it's a moot point regardless. Anyway, I hesitated to make that previous post to begin with . . .

Well Brent, if you're nosey enough to want to be kept in the loop, then put your wallet where your curiosity is, pony up, and help these people recoup some of their losses. There is a list of those who donated and I'm sure that they will all be informed of a new "so called forum".

I guess if you can't see that my nosiness wasn't the point of my previous two posts then I don't know. Maybe if something was actually getting done I'd be more inclined to 'put my wallet where my mouth was', but as far as I can see the money that's been collected so far is just sitting somewhere. Hmm, interesting.

FYI . . . (again, for the thick ones) . . . I was merely pointing out the difference between two supposed groups of people that may have a stake in this new 'super secret forum' and why they may or may not have a 'right' to be a member. Sorry for attempting to become involved with some clarification. :shrugs:

The new forum should be for discussions with those directly involved with the breeding project, actual victims of the scam, and those who made donations. I know if I were setting up the forum, its posting privileges would be for only those select folks. The privilege to read along and be informed of the projects progress should remain as any normal readable forum on fauna.

There is a lot of hard work and preparation on the horizon for these guys. I cant see why even the nosiest of holes would want to distract and detract from those efforts with moot points and nonsense speculation.
