I'm looking to expand my collection and I'm torn as to what to get next. I figured I'd get peoples opinions on what I'm interested in and also give you my "Critera" as to what I'd like in a reptile @ this point. I know there's no "Perfect animal" but I'd like to get one that I'm sure I'll enjoy and I can properly take care of.
A "perfect" reptile for me would require no larger (or not MUCH [read+-1x1x1]) than a 4x2x2 cage. I would prefer to be able to house these animals together in the same cage. I'd prefer a dinural species that has a more than average to very activity level. I'd like a reptile that is not so flighty & not "un-handleable". I dont mind an attitude but I'd prefer it to be a workable situation. (I realize all animals are individuals and dispositions are highly-variable).
The ones I'm leaning towards now are Beardies, Ackies & Uros. (No order)
Any opinions on these three are GREATLY appreciated. I've researched them all endlessly and am completely torn.
Any OTHER suggestions that my requirements bring to mind would be also greatly appreciated!
I'd love to get a monitor or Tegu but as I'm in college I cant house them properly now
, also due to my current living situation no snakes
Thanks in advance for any suggestions.
