    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Tribal Reptile Rip me off!!!

I have Airborne working on the delivery notification now. But seeing as the shipment was made on 10/9/01 they do not have it available readily. My Airborne representative is supposed to have it to me tomorrow.

As for shipping, Luis requested Door to Door service and in fact was offered to have the animals shipped via Delta however he did not want to pay the extra expense or take the time to go to the airport. This was discussed at length after his first shipment had problems.

Anyone who has received animals from us knows that we are one of the most careful shippers in this industry. Niel, you have received an animal or two from us so you can attest to our shipping methods. I have to say too that with the numbers of shipments I have made, this is the first one that simply "disappeared" without a trace.

Take what the Webslave said in to account here. Both Luis and Harvey Rodriguez are posting from the exact same IP address, and they signed up within hours of one another, to me that smells fishy and really takes the air out of "Bandito's" credibility.

Tribal Reptile on the other hand is an established business in the reptile community and has been for over 7 years.  We have an excellent reputation in this industry and our healthy expanding business is a tribute to that.

Chris...on that point, I couldn't agree MORE!! You guys ARE one of the BEST in the industry...I HAVE received GORGEOUS animals from you and they were packed and shipped PROFESSIONALLY!! I was VERY impressed with your quality AND service!! IT DOESN'T MATTER IN THIS CASE!! It makes NO DIFFERENCE WHO the two parties are in THIS instance....it's a VERY BASIC problem!! If the PURCHASER doesn't receive his purchase, no matter if YOU were at fault, or the SHIPPER was at fault....Chris, YOU OWE HIM, PERIOD!! Basic stuff, if you're honest! And I KNOW YOU ARE!!
BUT....If there is ANYTHING that was LIED about....ALL BETS ARE OFF! There are scammers all over the place! I don't like the "double emails" thing...but, there MIGHT be an explanation (I doubt it, though)....If you can show us that they WERE signed for....GAME OVER! CASE CLOSED!
Chris, you should KNOW that I'd back YOU GUYS before I would with someone I DON'T know....but, that's STILL not the point!! It's just basic business ethics at work here!
Now that we got THAT straight....I'd like to comment on your "disclaimer page"....I HATE IT! You should try to treat EACH PROBLEM separately, and NOT lump everybody together! SURE, things like; notification of DOA's, Guarantees (if any), shipping fees, etc....are FINE....but, when you start DETAILING with VERY fine print, every nuance of the sale, it really puts people off! All the customer wants to know, is that if something goes wrong, YOU will make it right! PERIOD! Your disclaimer is like saying you're going to do everything in your power NOT to help them if there's a problem??? DON'T yell at me, I KNOW you're NOT like that...but, that's what your disclaimer IMPLIES!!... (Unless it's THEIR fault, of course).... I hope you can understand where I'm coming from?? NO HARD FEELINGS, just MY OPINION!! ....Neil
 
You know something Chris your such a freaking lier you guys never said at anytime you use Delta Dash at all. If you did I would had went to the airport and got them because it's only 30mins from where I live, so stop the BS I got an order from a privite breader before all this happend to me and he ship it to me threw Delta Dash and I still have the invoce for proof. This is what you guys at Tribal have. ---> Animal shipments are shipped (Airborne Express over night to your door). Where does it say you have other service availible at? And also remember when you and I spoke on the phone you said clearly that the driver describe my house and also the driveway where I live. So what I did was take pictures of my house front and sides and Email it to your boss Tim and Cc it to you which I still have them here if anyone else care to look, and you guy's still refuse to belive me. By the way you told me before you had all the info from Airborne before what happend you guys lost track of your records. Plus I scaned everything I got from airborne and email it to you and tim so you should have that copy also.
 
Mr. Vasquez, up to this point many people have sided with you IF you are indeed correct.  Many have stated if Tribal can verify that you did sign for them , that they are NOT responsible, but if they can't , then they are.  I have mixed feelings, which I am not going to humor you with today.  But when they have enough courage to speak out on this issue, in a very respectable manner, while you on the other hand are constantly bashing them, it does little to help your case in our eyes.  Each time you call them liers, and imply that this mess is more than a mistake, you are lessoning your credability, at least in my eyes.  IF you have some sort of proof that is wasn't delivered to you, then post it.  Same to Tribal, if you get proof tommorrow that they signed for the package, post it.  Reguardless of how we each feel, reguarding the sellers obligation to make the deal right, that is irrelevant when you keep being comletely unprofessional and you keep bashing them.  I have never bought from Tribal, but I have come close several times, all of which I either spoke too late or I found another deal.  When you posted this string to begin with, I was honestly thinking twice before ever considering another deal with them.  But after seeing how they were man (or woman) enough to come here and attempt to speak up for themselves, and be very proffesional in the process, and all you do is continue to bash them, instead of trying to talk this out like adults (you sound like kids.."mommy he took my playdough"), as they are at least giving the appearance of doing.  You are loosing ground fast with each and every post where you fail to talk it out , and instead you bash them.  Then again, thats just my opinion I could be wrong.... Sorry Dennis Miller, but I love that quote.  

Lets wait til tommorrow when Tribal talks to their Airborne Rep, and see if Mr. Vasquez is able to post some proof to back up his claim, and we'll see from there, I just don't think it gets anywhere except to discredit the party that is bashing (not the party being bashed).  Once again thats my opinion.  Either way... all who read this, have a good night and an excellent weekend.

Stephen Barger yes you are right but man they piss me off so bad. I've try taking with them for month's now before posting here because it was my last resort to get threw to them that I was not going to take this laying down. Tim even ask me to send him the settlement invoice that airborne sent me which was for $100 and I did plus the picture of my house and property to show him that they didn't deliver the package to me... I'm very siorry I had to go this route but for me to loose almost $600.00 it hurnts as you all know we work hard for our money. I contacted airborne againg ther going to email me the complete invoice and record of what happend. again i'm sorry if this get's some of you guys upset.

I agree, I want to know who Harvey is? Are you and Harvey the same person? Sorry man but to me,right there kills your whole story, its makes me believe your leaving alot of the facts out. especially since this was brought up and you have posted 3 or 4 times since this was brought up and have tried to sk8 around it.

One thing that gets me about all this, when you buy from someone you need to read over their policies and guarentees. If you do not like their policies or they dont fit your situation then DONT do buisness with them or aske the to alter them and get it in writing prior to sealing the deal. Dont come here after the fact and say their policies aint far. When you do buisness with someone over the internet those policies are a contract between the two parties. Dont try to rewrite the contract after the deal has been sealed. As TC pointed out they claim no responsibilty for shipments lost due to the currier. Yes, that was on their old web site. That was part of the contract you bought under so that you must live by it. Whether or not You I or anyone else thinks its far is besides the point. It was part of the contract you bought the animals under, if you didnt like that you should have asked them to rewrite it before you sent them money and for them to give you a copy in writing. Dont try to change policies and contracts after the fact.


And last All I can say is that I have dealt with Tribal, I have received SEVERAL GREAT animals from them. The torts we receintly got from them are doing great. My family and I were discussing that last night, we abosulty love the torts we got and are going to wait on tribal to get more in. Very freindly staff, great service.

So lets here about Harvey shall we???

Where do you see in my posts that im trying to rewrite the contract <img src="http://www.faunaclassifieds.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/confused.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt='???'>.  Before you type anything read all the posts. Also do you know what I'm talking about??? don't think so, my problem with Tribal Reptiles is that I never recieved the 2nd shipment that's what's this is about. I called Airborne and they are going to send me a copy of the paper work on monday so as soon as I get it i'll have it scaned and posted here they confirmed with me that my signiture is not on there and that's why they gave me a $100.00 settlement so I guess I have to wait until I get it from them...

I read the whole thing dude, above is the clause that was on their old site that is creating the conflict of interests. In case you cannot read, the above clause means that if the currier delivers to the wrong house or what ever happened to the second package, that Tribal is not responsible and YOU have to file your claim with the currier.


for anyone reading this please notice how Mr. Twonames here totally blows off the questions about Harvey. In my prior post I directly asked about Harvey obviously as he read my post his eyes skipped right over that part. Smae as when he read Tribal, TOS. In my mind his credibility goes right out the door.

So once again WHO IS HARVEY???

Since this was the first time I posted on this forum nor me or Harvey was aware that this was going to cause any problems at all, he is a real person he also buy's reptiles and his post is  honest and truthfull He was at my house visting and saw what was happening so he wanted to post his own opinion so he use my pc since he was here already. so that's what happend this is the god honest truth i'm very sorry if this upset anyone I know it don't look good on my end. Again i'm very sorry.

If people would just learn to be honest their life would be a whole lot easier. If there is a Harvey the above statement from him was completely dishonest, which reflects on the both of you. Maybe "Harvey" should have advised you to have all your reptiles shipped Delta Dash and saved you some trouble. This board can backfire if your story is not presented honestly. Thanks.

Listen guys I told you the truth yes he did post the msg from my pc. I ment him after this stuff from Tribal happend to me and that's it weather you want to believe my or not that's up to you. It's still the fact that I never recieve my 2nd shippment and that's what's this is about. So if you have anything to say lets keep it about what happend to me, I already said we were sorry and didn't think it would upset anyone here.
 
O.k.…. I am going to stop this whole thing right now. I have been getting reports everyday from my management about this insane mess. I have been away from my business for the last week due to my wife being hospitalized and could not comment. My management has been filling in. This will be Tribal Reptiles last word on the matter. So all you out there listen up!!!

The delivery in question was a “SECOND” delivery to the same person, to the same house, to the same address, by the same driver, by the same delivery company.
Tribal Reptile Co. did send a “ SECOND pair of geckos to Luis Vasquez as a replacement for geckos that he claims were delivered in bad shape. We then shipped him replacement geckos a “SECOND” time to the same address, to the same house, by the same driver, by the same delivery company. We only ask that there MUST be someone to sign for the delivery whenever we ship live animals. I had gotten over 10 confirmations by Airborne that the freight was in fact delivered. THIS WAS NOT A LOST PACKAGE!!!!! So please…everyone out there get this straight!!! Luis was not home to sign for his freight. The package was left, as this was a delivery to a residential address. Luis has his geckos and the fact that he is defrauding the board of inquiry with different aliases only proves this. Luis asked my company to inflate his claim to double the actual value for a higher refund. This thing stunk and I refused! My shipper (Airborne) has never admitted to losing any freight to this day. And now we are all sitting here on this thread for way too long talking about it. My honest customers will tell you:

I ship great animals in good health!

I give refunds when it is warranted!

I replace animals, if my shipper mishandles them!!

I guarantee live arrival!!!

I pack freight with precision!!!!

I spend hours on the phone with my customers if they have any problems!!!!!

But I walk away from things that just plain STINK!!!!

Anyone of you out there that know my company know that we do not screw our customers out of their money. I have faith that our great reputation in this industry will only prevail this slander. I have now delivered 2 pairs of Hypo Underwoodisaurus milii to Luis Vasquez. Enough is enough!!!!!! I predict that if Luis does not get himself off the forums quick he will be evicted from every one of them.
It is my belief that Luis does in fact have these animals and is trying to SCAM us for more free animals.

Tim you know the truth I sent you all the proof you requested and I even have the email you sent me that you yourself said airborn lost the package. read the line that have  brackets between them. I have the original email here if anyone want's it foward to them plus more. Tim if I was here for the first shipment what makes you or anyone think I wouldn't be here for the second one The driver couldn't find my place the first time. Again I should have a copy of the invoice from airborne sent to me on monday to prove I didn't recieve or sign for any package. Also who told me not to tell airborne not to report to them that you ship me live reptile?? who sent me a fake invoice for (2 Helix electronic Climte control Basic System for $542.00?? Which I still have the email with the attach fake invoice... Lets see when Chris get the airbill on your end to see if my signiture in on it.

(I do believe that you probably were not informed about insurance as it is a huge rip off) and you end up in the same mess you are in right now anyway despite what any shipper tells you. It is always a dog fight getting any justice with a claim. They never want to pay. That is why I tried to help.
I have been through my share of claims and have lost thousands of dollars because all shippers love to take the insurance money but NEVER promise on an easy and quick claim process. Sometimes it takes a long process of
bitching, many phone calls, A LOT OF NOISE!!!!! this can take months.
         All shipping is a risk and there are never any guarantees with any shipper that you will be paid a dime. It is always at their discretion in there policy. They will find a way out. This is why I clearly state in my shipping policy that Tribal Reptile is not responsible for shippers errors or delays!! (This discloses that shipper make mistakes).  They love to
put the sender in the hot seat with this crap. Takes the spot light off them. How would you have felt had I had taken your insurance money and then said well.......maybe they will send me the money next month and then I can pay you.....and so on, and so on, and so on.......This is why I do not tell
anyone to insure a damn thing. Customers are more pissed when they are always wait for something that may not come anyway. It is just like ALL insurance in this country. A big fat gamble.Look.......I sent replacements, I sent you a second invoice for help, I call Airborne in defence of the problem/ claim. I will call again and to best of my memory I do not remember demanding the returned dead geckos the first time. I believe the your photos were accepted even though our policy demands the dead be returned before credit can be issued.........

(I am willing to discount your next order to help with this mess that is indeed not your fault). I am very sorry about all of this and despite my frustration the thought of those geckos dying somewhere makes me sick to my stomach. I would tell Airborne to go #### themselves and never use them again but the sad fact is that they have proven to be the most reliable shipper out of all the rest. Pretty sad thing huh. Again I feel very bad and will help in ways that are appropriate.

Tim...Plain and simple....I HONESTLY BELIEVE YOU!! On the other hand, I NOW... DO NOT believe Luis! PERIOD!! For ME, at least...this problem WAS NEVER A PROBLEM TO BEGIN WITH! Had Luis BEEN HOME to SIGN FOR the SECOND package...we wouldn't be here! But, I'm sure Luis had more important things to do than sit home waiting for the delivery guy??!! Right??
